I received the 1000 Hour Lash & Brow Dye Kit in Dark Brown as part of Bh's Discovery Bag trial. It appears to be an existing product that has recently been re-launched in October 2024. One pack promises 12 applications and the pack lasts for 12 months after opening given each application is designed to last up to 6 weeks. The contents are very similar to a at home hair dye kit - there's a small bottle of developing liquid and a small tube of dark brown colour cream for mixing. The packaging tray inside is designed to be used as the palette for mixing and the contents include a wand and spoolie for mixing and application. It's recommended to have eye make up remover and Vaseline which is not included. Make up remover is needed to clean the dye off the lashes after applying and Vaseline is needed to apply the included under eye protectors to the face. The product was easy to use, very similar to home dye kits. The results are quite subtle which is ideal for any new user like me.

I received the Nad's Extra Long Wax Strips as part of Bh's Discovery Bag trial. Each tub contains 20 wax strips which are double sided and 4 post calming oil wipes to help remove any wax residue after waxing. The strips are double the size of Nad's regular wax strips so are perfect for waxing larger areas such as arms and legs. Waxing at home has been made much easier without having to heat up the wax for application. The larger strips made it much easier and quicker when doing legs - perfect for the summer season. Each strip is split into two, and is double sided. I applied the strip in the direction of hair growth and smoothed it over 4-5 times as directed, then removed the strip in the opposite direction low and close to the skin while holding it taut. Oil wipes are included to help remove any excess wax residue.

I received the Rejuvaus Bright & Correct Niacinamide Serum as part of Bh's Discovery Bag trial. The serum is designed to regulate and reduce pigmentation, and protect even skin tone. The serum is packaged in a solid rectangular tube and I instantly knew this was premium skincare that meant business with its airless pump aimed to reduce the degradation of its ingredients. With its long list of beneficial ingredients, it leans more towards cosmeceutical than your average department store serum. This ranges from antioxidants (niacin amide, vitamin B3 and C, Kakadu plum), pigment inhibitors, pre and probiotics, anti-inflammatories, barrier repair and exfoliants. One pump dispenses quite a generous amount of serum. No more than two pumps would be needed for the face and neck. It has a very nice subtle herbal scent which is not overpowering. It absorbs very easily into the skin and I applied my usual moisturiser to seal in the goodness. I haven't seen any noticeable difference in my pigmentation however I think this needs more time for the results to appear. After using this, I have noticed a subtle radiance and brightening to my skin leaving it looking less dull. It is a premium serum and at this price point, I will wait until I finish the bottle to notice any visible impact on pigmentation.

Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream is an affordable day cream that is targeted to reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in ageing skin. It's packaged in a plastic tub with a screw top lid. Easy to use every last dollop. It's a lightweight and lightly fragranced cream that absorbs easily into the skin. I liked that my skin didn't feel too greasy afterwards and it's perfect for providing moisture in summer without the greasiness. My dry skin instantly felt moisturised and was relieved from tightness that dry skin can have. I didn't notice any visible difference in fine lines but it's a solid and reliable moisturiser for day use.

I received the DermaGen Skin Recovery Lotion as part of a Discovery Bag trial. It's packaged in a 250ml bottle with a pump for easy dispensation. For such a small bottle, I thought it was quite expensive at $36.95 but the product does translate into quality. The lotion itself is actually quite thick and more like a cream in texture so calling it a lotion is probably selling itself short. It contains a lot of beneficial ingredients such as vitamin B3, Manuka oil, evening primrose oil and hemp seed oil. It does have a very strong herbal smell so it's probably not to everyone's liking. I think it's a niche product and is priced as such - for those managing eczema, dermatitis, rosacea and acne prone skin. It also claims to be targeted for those undergoing chemo radiation therapy which I thought was very interesting and not something often marketed. I did find it very moisturising and nourishing for the skin and a great option for dry winter skin. I loved that it's made in Australia and has the eczema association stamp on the bottle.

I received the Goldwell Dualsenses Colour Repair and Radiance Balm in a Discovery Bag trial. It's packaged in a plastic upside down tube. The product I received wasn't foil sealed under the cap which I thought was slightly unusual. It's made in Germany. I have shoulder length hair that is dry and I use a hairdryer to blow dry my hair after washing. I regularly use hair oils, serums and treatments to protect my hair from further heat damage. I don't have coloured hair so cannot comment on the results to maintain "colour brilliance". I used this after towel drying my hair and it's recommended to use a hazelnut sized dollop. I used this on mid to ends of my hair strands as it works to reduce split ends by fortifying the hair bonds. It had a nice fragrance and I didn't find that it weigh my hair down or left it feeling greasy.

I received the Isocol Rubbing Alcohol Antiseptic Lotion in a Discovery Bag trial. It's a great little 75ml sized bottle with a pump spray. Great for keeping in the car, for travels and is handbag sized for cleaning hands on the go and surfaces when outside. Also a great option to keep at the desk in the office as well. With 64% alcohol, I can trust it will kill germs and bacteria. It leaves you feeling fresh and clean. At home, I like to use this for cleaning my make up brushes and brushes I use for my doing my nails.

I received the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Hair Serum as part of a Discovery Bag trial. It's packaged in a 100ml pump bottle. The bottle is 100% recyclable. I have shoulder length hair that is dry and use the hair dryer after washing my hair. I regularly use hair oils, leave-in treatments and hair protector sprays to prevent further damage to my dry hair so was very happy to try this. I used this on damp hair after showering and found it non-greasy and absorbed well into my hair. It didn't feel like it weighed my hair down after it dried as some treatments can. It also had a really nice subtle sweet floral fragrance.

Neutrogena Visible Repair eye cream is a wrinkle eraser for the eye area. It's packaged in a 15g tube with slim-line nozzle for easy dispensation. A little pea-sized amount goes a long way around the eye area. As it contains retinol, I used it sparingly in the beginning in case of any adverse reactions. With any retinol product, always use SPF sun protection during the day. I found it moisturising which helped to reduce the visible appearance of fine lines, but time will tell if it makes any long-term difference.

I received the Dr Wolff's V-San Intimate Wash Lotion at the 2024 Best in Beauty Marketplace event at BH HQ. This is a gentle cleanser that contains lactic acid to balance pH levels and chamomile extract to sooth and clam the skin. The lactic acid maintains a neutral pH balance to protect the skin barrier. It was an average product, I didn't really like the scent from the lactic acid and chamomile and I would have preferred a pump which gives a more measured dosage and is also easier to use in the shower. Not for me, but would be good if you have irritable or sensitive skin.
