This Nude by Nature primer comes in a stylish tube with a rose gold cap. It doesn’t say much on the tube as it is all written on the box, it’s strange that not even the directions are repeated on the tube. The box has a lovely matte texture that feels nice to touch. The primer itself is a shimmery white colour with a runny consistency. It has a soft scent that I can’t put my finger on, but is perhaps similar to citrus. It’s easy to apply over your face and leaves the skin feeling slightly tacky to touch. The light-reflecting pearls make my skin look shimmery and glittery, probably a little too much for my liking for everyday use as it is a little unnatural. I would class this as more glittery than glowing, and certainly not very natural look. I don’t wear foundation often and that fact paired with the current requirement to always wear masks when out of the house has meant I haven’t really got to test if this helps with the longevity of makeup. I did use a pressed power foundation on top of the primer, and while it certainly applied well, it was hard to notice any difference from without the primer. I do like to wear primer for special occasions and I will be happy to use this product knowing that it is natural and actually good for my skin, and for those occasions I think the shimmer will work.

I have very fine hair and experience lots of hair loss, so this product sounded like it was made for me. I had not heard of it before but it sounded fantastic, and being natural was an added bonus. It comes in a bottle that looks quite pretty and is reasonably large at 200mL. The spray nozzle is a great design and makes it so easy to target this product on your roots which is what the instructions say to do. I did find it tricky to know if I had covered all my hair as it goes onto wet hair and is clear so it’s impossible to see. The product has a strong musk scent. I could smell it when applying and noticed it a little myself on the first day but my partner commented on it even the following day or two. I only wash my hair every five days or so, so I didn’t have a lot of opportunity to try this product many times during the trial period. I have not noticed any changes to my hair thickness or hair loss, but I didn’t expect that I would so soon after having only used it three times. I will continue to use this as I am very hopeful that it will make a positive difference to my hair with longer use. I only wish that it could be used on dry hair so I could use it more. If this product works, I think it’s a very reasonable price and will definitely repurchase it! For now, I recommend it as it smells nice and I have hope it will work given it's ingredients and claims.

I love all the Glow Lab products I have used so I was keen to try this one which I hadn’t used before. I didn’t realise until I read the packaging that the product doesn’t actually contain retinol which until researching now I didn’t know was synthetic. I like that this product uses Bakuchiol instead which is naturally derived. The serum itself has a soft scent which smells a bit like rosewater. Once a few drops are required to cover the whole face and it’s easy to apply. It does feel a little oily and leaves a soft sheen on the skin once absorbed, so may not be suitable for oilier skin types for daytime use. I have been using this at night-time before applying a night crème and also sometimes in the morning before an SPF moisturiser. I trialled this as part of Natural Beauty Month which also required me to use other facial products so it is hard to isolate the result of this product in a rather short trial period of two weeks. I think perhaps my skin looked a little smoother and more even, but I will need to continue trialling for a longer period before I know.

I was keen to try this product, having loved many Essano products that I’ve tried before. I haven’t used a Vitamin C serum before so I was interested to see the result. It comes in a nice little brown bottle with a simple label that looks pretty neat. The serum itself is white which I thought was unusual as all other types of serum I’ve used are clear. As it is white, it does look a bit messy around the rim of the bottle. The serum smells of orange which I really like but be warned it is a strong smell. It is easy to apply although I found the instruction to pat it on was strange rather than rubbing it in. It feels very light on the skin and after application, it doesn’t leave any visible residue. I have heard that vitamin C products can be irritating but I had no issues at all using this one. I used it every morning before my SPF moisturiser. I trialled this as part of Natural Beauty Month which also required me to use other facial products so it is hard to isolate the result of this product but I do believe it made my skin glow a little more and brighten slightly in less than two weeks of use. It seems a little ununusal that this claims to be a ‘high-strength formula’ when it only has 5% vitamin C which is less than most on the market. It seems like a good starting point though as I had never tried vitamin C and I am guessing lower concentrations are less prone to irritate. I think the price point of this product is good and I will continue to use and monitor for effects over a longer period.

This moisturiser comes in a cute tube that makes it perfect for travelling especially as it has a screw lid that does up very securely. The cream itself is white and only has a faint scent that is perhaps best described as floral which I assume is the cactus. Prickly pear cactus is an interesting ingredient that I haven’t seen as a product before but it makes sense after reading the product details about it being an expert in storing moisture. I used this cream every night after a serum and found it was good for a night cream but perhaps not quite heavy enough. The reason I didn’t and won’t wear it in the day time is it does not contain SPF and I think it’s important to wear that everyday. The cream is very quickly absorbed and feels light on the skin yet felt hydrating. After application my skin looked immediately hydrated and there was no shine at all. Unfortunately I did think that the price is quite expensive compared to other products available so I am unsure I would purchase this. For me the big issue is that I can’t wear it in the day due to no SPF. It was nice for overnight but I tend to go instead for a cream specified for night use that is usually heavier with added benefits. I also would prefer if I could purchase a larger tube as I would like it to last longer.

For some reason this product didn’t appeal to me and I wasn’t that keen on using it, but I actually ended up loving it. It comes in a small pump bottle which is sturdy and sits easily on the bench. The pump makes it so easy to use and hygienic. The lotion itself is white with a medium consistency and has no fragrance. I found that it was really easy to spread over my skin and quite quickly absorbed. I was surprised to notice how hydrated my skin was after I had been using this lotion. The bottle does claim “increased skin hydration by 50%” and while that metric is hard for me to comment on, I did think my skin was more hydrated and remained so all day. It is a little bit more on the expensive side but for a product that is more effective at hydrating I think it is worth it and I would definitely consider purchasing in the future.

I received this product as part of Natural Beauty Month but I actually had ‘purchased’ it from the rewards room in the past so I have been using it for quite a long period of time, and can say it’s an amazing product. It comes in a small tube which is very easy to dispense the thick cream from, and you simply need to rub it onto your heels. It does take a little time to absorb and the only thing I find a little annoying as I never know what to do after applying to ensure it is absorbed into my skin (i.e. and not my socks). It does work quickly as it claims and you can feel a difference after one day. After a few days use, the skin is so much softer and smoother. If you have a build up of thick skin, I think this product works best if you use a foot file first but then keep using the heel balm for optimal effect and maintenance. You only need a small amount for each application so the tube lasts for ages so it is great value. This is a product I like to always have on hand and will continue to use.

I’ve turned more towards lipstick over gloss recently and haven’t even worn anything on my lips for a while due to mask requirements. I was excited to trial this product as I’ve used many great Burt’s Bees products over the years. The tube is simple, and you can see the colour of the product inside which I like as it makes it easy when selecting one from a collection. I received the shade “020 Blush” which is a pretty pink tint. On application, the colour is sheer and enhances my natural lip colour. The product left my lips looking very glossy and I can say true to the name of ‘lip shine’. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t feel sticky on the lips. It has a sweet, fruity scent that I like. It didn’t leave my lips feeling dry at all, and in fact they were quite soft afterwards so that’s definitely a positive. The product isn’t that long lasting on the lips and comes off with eating, but the design of the tube makes it easy to re-apply even without a mirror. I like that it is made from “100% natural origin” because so much of what you put on your lips is ingested so I’d like it to be as safe as possible for me. The price is reasonable for the product and I can see there are 5 other shades available in the range so a few to choose from.

This comes in a simple box that has a scaled down picture of the product on the side. The bottle is very simple, clear glass with a white dropper cap and a yellow liquid inside. It is actually a fairly generous sized bottle for an oil, but as this product as not yet been released I am unsure on the value. The instructions suggest using 2-3 drops but I’ve found this is not quite enough to get coverage on my whole face so tend to use a little more. It is easily applied to the skin and leaves a very soft sheen once absorbed. My skin is on the dry side of normal so this isn’t a problem for me but may be if you have oilier skin. The oil only has a very light scent and isn’t noticeable once applied. I’ve been using this for around 3 weeks but haven’t really noticed much difference in my skin. It does assist to keep it hydrated and gives a soft glow from the oil but I haven’t seen any other changes to my skin so far. I will continue to use it as I do believe it is good for my skin even if it does not have many visible changes and hope see more positive effects with long term use.

I recently bought this product to try as a daily face moisturiser because it seemed like great value and it has now become my go to product. I wear SPF on my face every day so the deciding factor to buy this was that it included SPF 50+ to protect my skin but is fragrance free and invisible. It stands up to it’s claim as it doesn’t feel like wearing a usual sunscreen on your face. It isn’t greasy or shiny, and instead is lightweight and quickly absorbed without leaving the skin white. I wear this product every day and it is perfect either under makeup or alone. My male partner also wears this daily and is happy with it. The tube is sturdy and is perfect for packing for car trips as well. It's water resistant too which is perfect for swimming and we’ve used this many times when going to the beach and we never get burnt. I will buy this over and over again as it is fantastic value particularly when purchased on sale.
