I have heard great things about Revlon, but I have never tried anything from their range. I really liked the pump system they use. It metres out the amount so you can’t use too much. Looking at the mixture in the bottle, I seemed really thick. I thought it would go on my skin and look like I was wear a face full of make up. Like that over done look. I was pleasantly surprised that I really liked how easily it blended into my skin. It had a natural look and didn’t feel too cakey on my skin. I also like that it had an inbuilt sunscreen (SPF 20) so I didn’t have to put one on before applying my face. I’ve heard good things about Hyaluronic Acid, but never tried anything that has that as its key ingredients. On the bottle there was a claim that with repeated use it could improve my skin’s quality. To be honest I didn’t notice an iota of difference in my skin’s quality. On the bottle it does also state that it has a 24 hour lasting wear. Personally the thought of wear my face for 24 hours is cringy beyond belief!!! I did sweat a little and noticed that it stayed put. All-in-all a great product.

I haven’t really had anything to do with styling brushes before and I was super excited to give this one a go. I really loved how simple this was to use. I was worried having had no real experience with a styling brush it would be super complicated. Thankfully not the case. I did charge the brush for the 3 hours suggested, but the charge lasts a really long time, so it was worth the wait. It is super lightweight, so my arm wasn’t tired doing all the things I was desperate to try now having this amazing tool. I loved that you could adjust the temperature so my hair wouldn’t fry or singe off. Being a novice, I was a little nervous about this. I needn’t have worried. It was super quick to heat up too. The 90 seconds advertised on the box, wasn’t a marketing ploy. I was unsure about the claim about the ionic technology, but I did notice that I didn’t have fly away or frizzy hair all day. I was even out in humidity and my hair didn’t poof… I also liked that my hair didn’t snag in the bristles of the brush. My hair didn’t tangle or knot either, so I loved that too. People with fine hair will understand the ease of knots. Ha ha!!! I had so much fun playing with this and I would highly recommend this brush for the ease and comfort!

I have never really used a setting spray before. I never really got the point as to why use one until I tried this out!!! I love how the whole Nude by Nature range has that super luxe look and feel, for a reasonable price. I love that it doesn’t have all those nasty chemicals and preservatives added to their products. I found this spray to be super lightweight and non-clogging on my skin. I really loved that just one spray could go a really long way. It makes it so cheap in the long run. I also liked that it didn’t sting my eyes or leave them red and sore. There was no real smell with this one either, which I love!!! I found that my makeup stayed put all day with no running or smudging. I also sweated a few times, and nothing happened either, so I’m stoked and would totally use this again. I’m a setting spray convert for sure now!!!

I have been on the lookout for a petroleum free heal balm that actually works. I think it is more than safe to say that I have found my new favourite!!! The smell of this is amazing!!! I love the minty fresh smell. It is just right and feels refreshing!!! I’m always a touch skeptical for products that say in 1 day this will be improved. I followed the directions on the tube. Apply the cream at least twice a day until heels are healed, then twice a week for maintenance. I just did twice a day as that’s all I could seem to remember to do. I really did notice a difference. I had really deep cracks and splits in my feet that nothing seemed to cured/heal. This really cleaned them up and stopped the pain. I was s surprised and delighted by this. The cream itself id quite thin, which interested me, as I thought it would be so thick to do the work. I did find if I put socks on or waited for the cream to soak it had the best results. One to try for sure!!!

I had never tried any Weleda products before. I had heard great things, but never experienced their stuff before. I laughed when I opened the box the cream came in as I have never purchased a moisturiser with a leaflet before. I loved that they use organic ingredients and that they are sourcing their products from renewable sources. That really stuck a cord with me. I have never tried products with cactus within them. It makes sense that they would be nourishing and hydrating. I found the cream to be super light and really hydrating on my skin. I had a few dry patches on my face, and they were gone in a day or two of using the cream. The cream does have a weird smell. Not overbearing, but it was enough to be noticed. Any more and I would have gave it away. A really interesting product that I would recommend giving a go.

I had seen a lot of Glow Lab around but never tried their stuff. I had always thought retinol was a natural ingredient, but on the box Glow Lab was saying that Bukuchiol was the natural alternative to retinol. I loved that this oil is cruelty free and vegan. I loved that the oil came in a dropper bottle to make it easier to use. The box says to use 2 or 3 drops twice a day with matching or own moisturiser. I personally found that 1 drop twice a day as ample as any more seemed to clog my skin. I personally didn’t notice a reduction in wrinkles, but maybe with time they will??? The other side of that is I don’t have too many and they aren’t super deep, so perhaps with deeper wrinkles there would be a reduction??? There was no real smell with this on, which I loved. I was happy to mix this with my regular rotation, but it didn’t really do anything for me. A great one to try, but maybe more wrinkles are needed???

I usually don’t use lip glosses/shines, so this was an interesting one for me. I received 050 PUCKER, which is a reddish/purple looking colour. The smell of this was Divine and like I could have eaten the whole tube!!! Ha ha!!! I loved that this tube was so small, and you cold put it in your handbag or glovebox with ease. I was surprised that this was rather thick, and I did worry that it would be super sticky and uncomfortable to wear. I found it to be so smooth and like my lips just glided. There was no tacky/sticky feeling with this one at all!!! My lips were so soft afterwards and I loved that it seemed to give them a little extra oomph. Not sure it was meant to or if it was me feeling so good wearing it, but I really loved this one and would definitely use it again.

I had never heard of Grow before, so I was interested to see what they were about. I loved that they are cruelty free and vegan friendly. I loved that they source at least 90% of their ingredients from natural sources, but would have loved to see 100%. When shaking the bottle, I found it weird that stuff inside sounded liquid. I had serious doubts about this and was wondering if it was another hair loss fad. The stuff comes out like a foam. I followed the bottle’s instructions of applying to damp hair at the roots. I used it for about a week and could really notice a different. My hair is super fine and brittle. I noticed the hair itself had thickened and for some strange reason I could see new hair coming through!!! I was surprised by that but also skeptical as I was wondering if it was because I had changed my diet and exercise routine??? An interesting on nonetheless and worth trying to see for yourself.

I have tried a few of Dermal Therapy’s products with mixed results. I was excited to give this a go as I have been in the market for a new moisturiser to keep it interesting. I loved that this is Australian Made and Owned. I love supporting the locals. I loved the pump bottle set up as it makes for less waste or getting too much to use all at once. I loved the mini bottle I received as it took hardly any space at all. I liked that the eczema associations seal of approval on it. I loved that this had no smell!!! The cream is really thick, but super nourishing. I really loved that yes, it went on thick, but soaked in really easily, leaving my skin feel smooth and silky, but not greasy. I really could notice a difference and my scaly skin healed beautifully. I’m pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend this for sure!!!

I have tried quite a few Essano products with no real success, so I had low hopes for this serum. I loved the little booklet that came with the oil. It had instructions to use the serum and all the different types of oils in the range. I love that you could have a serum for a specific need. It also demonstrated how to layer the serum with moisturisers. I liked on the box that it had when you could use the serum, either night or day. Too much information can never be enough, right??? I was quite interested to read the ingredients list and see what was in it. I thought it might have been the active ingredient with a carrier oil, but it was nearly half a box long!!! The oil itself felt a bit watered down and not super robust or like it had body. I didn’t feel glowing or energised after using this on and my skin looked and felt no different. I wouldn’t rush out and buy this one, that’s for sure.
