I loved the packaging when I first received all the OLAY products to review, thanks to BH! I must admit that as I read all of the information on what this product would do and how soon results would be noticed, I felt sceptical which is never a good place to start. I applied this product in conjunction with youth essence and often felt a light tingling, so please don't worry if you do as well. The cream felt rich on touch and applied well to the skin, it absorbed easily and did not leave a greasy feel. The only slight con was that I found the fragrance a bit heavy, it did eventually subside but not completely. Other than that, I like the overall marketing and feel of the product. I checked my skin on a weekly basis (over last few weeks) and did feel that my skin was slightly plumper and wrinkles were minimally visible! I also felt that the cream helped control my combination oily/dry skin so that was an added bonus for me. This product is better than the numerous skin products I have used in the past, so I am likely to repurchase.

I loved Olay's Regenerist 3 Point Age-Defying Night Cream. The cream felt rich but not greasy, it smelt lovely and the cream absorbed into my skin with ease and no additional need for rubbing in. The cream felt luxurious and indulgent on my skin and the next day my skin looked smoother and felt soft to the touch. and glowing. I have been using this product for three weeks now and have seen a difference in my skin, and I feel like my skin is glowing more. I'm not your typical 41 year old as I don't have excessive wrinkles! And I did notice the lines on my forehead were reduced and my skin around my eyes, on my cheeks and forehead felt softer and less lined.

I have been using the Viviscal conditioner as part of a 3 product trial program for the past 3 weeks - the shampoo and the elixir. I have fine hair but lots of it and often find conditioners weigh my hair down. I also often find that conditioners make my hair and scalp greasy faster than usual so I struggle finding suitable conditioners. I think my search is over as the Viviscal conditioner did not weigh my hair down and had a nice fresh botanical style fragrance - this is stronger than usual so beware if you do not like fragrances. I used the conditioner after using the Viviscal shampoo and found that I did not need much even though the consistency is thin. All in all, I have been enjoying this conditioner and will repurchase once it's finished. I would also recommend to family and friends.

I had heard a lot about the Viviscal range of hair products so I was excited about getting the chance to review thanks to BeautyHeaven...:-)...I have now been using the shampoo for the last 3 weeks so here's my review of the shampoo. Firstly, I did love the branding/marketing colours used by Viviscal, so that was aesthetically pleasing. Now on to the product itself, I had not washed my hair for a few days when I first used the Viviscal shampoo so I did not find much difference after my first use. The second time I used the shampoo, I did feel the difference as my hair felt almost stiffer and cleaner to the feel....not sure how else to describe it. When I styled my hair after the second wash, I found that my hair looked healthy, strong and denser than usual. I also had a number of comments from my corporate workmates which I found interesting and humorous at the same time considering I work in a team of mostly males. Over time, I have grown to enjoy the feel of my hair after using Viviscal shampoo and do enjoy using the Viviscal conditioner and elixir too. My hair is less static and feels much healthier to the touch. When I dry my hair now, it looks and feels full which is great. Note that the shampoo does have a strongish fragrance so for those of you that do not like any fragrance in your hair products, this may not be for you. I don't mind the fragrance and have gotten used to it. In terms of the amount to use, I use less rather than more as I shampoo twice. I also find that this product does not lather as much as some of the more commercial shampoos. This does not worry me as it still leaves my hair feeling clean and healthy.

When I first received the Viviscal 3 step program to review, I was very excited as I have heard a lot about these products but have not had a chance to try them until 3 weeks ago. FYI, I have lots of hair however it is very fine and can have a tendency towards being static if I don't use conditioner. I have to say that the Viviscal elixir is one of the best hair products I've used for my hair type, and I have used a fair few over the years. After the first application I could see and feel a difference in the texture of my hair. I felt that my hair looked and felt thicker/fuller. My hair was also easier to style because it felt strong and healthy rather than static. I've been using the Elixir for a few weeks and I'm impressed with the results so far. The elixir is so simple to use - you just shampoo and condition as normal, then massage the elixir into your hair without rinsing it out. I found that the elixir soaked into my hair fairly immediately and did not leave any sticky residue, which is great for the humid Sydney weather. The pump dispenser bottle made it easy for me to control the amount of elixir that I wanted which was great and meant no wastage. For my medium long hair, I used 2 pumps which I found more than enough. Note that Viviscal recommend to use between two or three pumps on damp hair depending on the length/texture of your hair, so use less to begin with and add more as required. The elixir has the look and feel of a light gel and my experience has been that a little goes a long way. My favourite part of this product is that the weightless texture does not leave my hair looking or feeling greasy. For those of you that like fragrances in your hair products, this will be good for you. For those that don't like any fragrance, this elixir might not be the product for you. I would recommend and repurchase for myself once I run out.

I love all the Aveeno products that I've tried and this sheer hydration lotion is no different. This moisturising lotion goes on to the skin easily and feels like silk. The active natural in Aveeno is "Aveva Sativa (Oat Kernel) Flour mixed with other ingredients absorb in a minute or so and has almost the feel of baby powder, silky to the skin and I love that it's infused with active natural ingredient oatmeal. What I also love is that it doesn't leave a sticky residue, which is great in humid Sydney weather. I found the effects of the cream lasted for hours and I didn't feel like I needed to apply more lotion within a few hours. The bottle says that the cream is unscented however I did smell a slight scent when you first pump it, nothing offensive or strong. I did not find the scent was strong enough to clash with a body spray or perfume. I liked the size of the bottle and did not find it too heavy to handle. I also found that the lotion dried quickly and effectively so it does not add time to your schedule. I would recommend this product to anyone for its performance as well as price. Would i buy it again or recommend it, absolutely...:-)

When I first received the jar, I was not sure I liked handling the jar due to it's thickness but I got used to it. So I have been using this product for 16 days so far and have been following my skin's progress using the wrinkle ruler scoring system. Firstly, I used too much product the first few times as it is a rich cream and a little goes a long way. So please do not use too much if you do decide to buy this. For the first few days, I did not notice much difference to my skin but on Day 5, I noticed that my skin had a firmer texture. I then stood in sunlight and checked my wrinkles using a magnified mirror and to my surprise, the wrinkles looked less visible. I continued to check every 3 days after that and found that my skin elasticity seemed to improve even more. I felt that I started on a rating of 4 on the ruler scale and when I got to the end of the 14 days, I feel that I was a rating of 2. I am in my early 40's with good genetics so I was surprised that even though I did not have significant wrinkle damage, the cream still made my skin look better. I love the thick, rich texture as it gives it a premium feel but will probably not use it everyday in summer, maybe every second to third day. Overall, I liked the product and will repurchase. I have also bought a jar for my mum to try...:-)

It was my first time trying the Pressed Mineral Cover by Nude by Nature. I have seen the product advertised heavily however never invested in it. Let's start with the packaging - once you open the box, the product is snuggled tight in another protective bag with an elastic tie. Once you open the Pressed Mineral Cover, it comes with a powder puff which seems durable but I prefer to apply with a brush as I like to build lightly. So you are probably asking what exactly does this Pressed Mineral Cover offer? In my opinion, it's basically a mineral powder foundation that offers light or medium to full coverage for a majority of skin tones. It seems suitable for all skin types out there. I have to say that I am surprisingly impressed with the results that it gave to my overall finished look. I felt that the powder gave a natural look to my skin and also helped minimise the appearance of pores and wrinkles on my skin. With the overall results it has given, I have found that it provides a lightweight and semi-matte finish to my look. I wore it to work and it lasted to 8 hours, and I have a combination skin type so that's a pretty good result for me. Another plus for me was the list of natural ingredients used to create the Pressed Mineral Cover, which includes Native Australian ingredients such as the Kakadu plum which is high in Vitamin C content; and Cehami extract and also Vitamin E, Avocado oil, Jojoba oil and Shea butter. I was pleasantly surprised that my skin felt nourished with the Pressed Mineral cover. In addition, it did not feel "cakey" which can happen with certain powders. Lastly, there's no particular fragrance to the formula which I personally prefer. The finish was flawless on my skin and there were no signs of shine, even though the Sydney climate can make that hard with the humidity. A plus is that you control the level of blending and building that you prefer for your skin. Positives: •100% Naturally derived •Dermatologically tested •Suitable for sensitive skin •Animal cruelty free •Contains Kakadu plum which is super high in Vitamin C content; and Cehami extract and also Vitamin E, Avocado oil, Jojoba oil and Shea butter •Free from any parabens and talc •Fragrance free Tips for Use: •You can choose to use a brush or sponge and apply to the sides of your cheeks to contour or cover blemishes •You can build it from light, medium or to full coverage •Might be worth buying the double sided application brush as I have heard good things about it's use Final verdict: Powders can make your skin look flat and chalky, but this was not experience with this product. This gave me a lovely natural coverage that is buildable and lasts for 8 hours. I would purchase again and recommend to family and friends.

I enjoyed this trial as I was not sure what to expect of a Revlon branded hair colour. Love the fact that they don't test on animals.I found the shade I used was natural looking and covered my grays better than all other home products that I've ever tried. The grays are gone for now, am waiting to see how long it takes for them to reappear. The colour is rich and seems to quite strong in coverage. The only drawback for me is that I found the colour drying on my hair. My hair is naturally oily, so it usually stands up well to products like this. So I recommend you use a conditioner if you are prone to drying hair. The aftercare conditioner that comes in the box is just a single use packet, so my only comment to Revlon would be to include additional packets or a tube for aftercare conditioning purposes. Colorsilk does use a heavy herbal fragrance to cover the chemical smell of hair colour and smelt a little bit like lemongrass. That might not appeal to those who are sensitive to smells. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for solid grey coverage at a bargain price.

I was impressed when I received the foundation jar as to how light it was until I started thinking about how little product there must be in the jar. So let me describe the packaging - it is a round, light but thick compact that not features a silicone face sponge that sits on a stand alone, sealed compartment. Below this sealed compartment is a bouncy, air and liquid filled sponge. Best way to use it is to take the supplied applicator, gently press onto the liquid filled sponge and apply to your skin. I found the foundation texture lightweight and thin and it initially melds into my skin quite well. Also, I felt that it allowed my skin to breathe, and doesn't look like foundation is sitting on top. I was disappointed with the actual wear time as it is very low, particularly if you have oily skin like I do. I found that the foundation lasted for about 3-4 hours at the most. It would be an option to carry the compact with you however I found it a little bulky for my handbag. Lastly, I found that the foundation did not bring out a natural glow in my skin - it looked a little chalky after about 30 minutes of wear so I don't think there was enough pink tone to match my skin. Overall, not a foundation that I would repurchase.
