The first time I used this shampoo, I squeezed out far too much and wiped the excess from my hand onto my shower puff. This is a good body shampoo too! A small amount of this shampoo lathers up like a dream and washes my hair without over washing or drying my hair out. The rich, thick cream shampoo also has a mild, pleasant fragrance. The bottle is very easy to squeeze product from and the cap seals well so there is no leakage from standing on its opening end. My hair is feeling clean, soft and shiny after using this shampoo along with the conditioner and serum.

I was ready for a change of product when this trial started. I have not been disappointed. This conditioner is rich and creamy and really felt like a moisturiser for my hair and scalp. I do suffer from some scalp problems Sofia’s is and found this conditioner did help to lock in moisture, rather than the thee conditioners that simply wash away. The conditioner did feel like it was coating my hair, however, when rinsed out, it leaves no residue, just a soft shiny, nourished finish. Used with the shampoo alone, my hair is soft and shiny and my dry ends feel smooth.

This serum conditioner feels rich and luxurious in the hand and unctions and nourishing in my hair. My hair is mid length, normal to dry and in need of a trim. You did not find this product oily, nor did it leave a residue. A small amount of the formula coated my hair but didn’t feel like it was leaving any residue. After one minute or perhaps a bit longer, I rinsed off the excess and felt clean smooth hair. This serum conditioner left my hair looking shiny and healthy, down to my tips that I know need a trim.

From the moment I first squeezed this onto my hand, I realised this was a game changer. This mildly fragranced hand cream was light, quickly absorbed and non-greasy. My hands felt immediately protected and soft. I liked the feel so much that I used it on a few patches of psoriasis. I felt immediate relief and less itch on these spots. It has assisted in almost clearing up some stubborn patches after just a few uses. The feel of this hand cream is long lasting and after washing my hands, they still felt protected. I only need to reapply this hand-cream twice a day. I find this hand cream works really well if I use it overnight. Like all moisturising products, it does it’s best work when left alone.

I love this brand. I have tried all the body washes and moisturisers and each product works really well. This moisturising lotion quickly absorbs into the skin, has a light feel and fragrance free which makes it excellent to use under any perfume and throughout the day. Dermaveen Daily Nourish Moisturising Lotion is gentle enough to use daily on my skin, and is effective in adding some moisture to my psoriasis when I have a flare up.

I received this cream and the shower oil for Christmas. It is a range I have been wanting to try for quite a while, and am not disappointed. With a light fragrance and quickly absorbent, light creamy texture, this moisturiser is a dream for my summer dry skin. It soothed and calmed my recently shaved legs and retained moisture all day.

My Estee Lauder consultant gave me a sample of Water Fresh Double Wear, knowing that I love the original but do have slightly dry skin. The formula is oil free and runnier than the original Double Wear but with a higher SPF of 25. I have tried the Water fresh foundation with a moisturised and primed face, and alone with moisturiser. Using Primer offers a better, more even and lasting finish, but this foundation works quite well with just a basic skin care routine too. Applying the foundation took a little getting used to. The thin formula did not stick to my foundation brush as readily as the original but it spread twice as far. The light coverage is great for lazy days. For work days when I wanted a little extra cover, I let the foundation sit for a minute and settle onto my skin before applying a few dabs where I needed a little more cover. This very natural feeling foundation does not feel heavy, clogging or drying on my skin, even after a day of wear. My other make up (bronzer, blush, eye colours, finishing powder, highlighter powder...) sit well on the base - No need for touchups.

Having been an Estee Lauder Double Wear lover for a few years now, I decided to shake up my foundation routine this summer. The pump bottle offers a no mess, easy and dispense. One pump is usually enough foundation to cover my face, although, I have occasionally used a half pump as well. The pump mechanism really does offer a well measured amount of product. The formula is light and easy to apply with a foundation brush. Compared to the Estee Lauder, Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear does not wear as thickly or heavily on my skin. Coverage is more medium, but is easily buildable with a little more product which I dab onto my face in the areas I think I need a little more cover. I have found that this slightly lighter coverage offers me a nice even, long-lasting cover that lasts all day. I have found that the colour range of this lancome foundation does not seem as good as Estee Lauder. I was colour matched for a foundation that I feel is a little too ivory for my face, (I am used to a more pink base) however, Teint Idole does blend beautifully and matches my neck perfectly.

I used The Body Shop White Musk oil many years ago, along with, at various times,the EDT and body cream/shower gel. I then decided to expand my fragrance range and left this gem behind me. I recently reconnected with this long lost love and am wondering why I was away from it for so long. The entire range is soft, subtle, flowery fragrant with a light depth of musk. What I love about the oil is that it applies like a body oil and feels very nourishing on the places you use it. However, do not go overboard with using the oil as a little will last you all day.

I tried a sample of this fragrance a few days ago and wish I had more of it. This fragrance smelled beautiful from the moment I opened the sample. The first notes I smelled were lightly sweet floral, then came the sandalwood and white musk for added depth. The florals and deeper notes interplayed with each other so subtly and beautifully, I really was pleasantly surprised. Having just returned from a holiday in a summer climate, this fragrance was just the perfect note to warm me up and spritz my senses upon coming back to a wet windy winter.
