This product is a dream for someone who loves a fresh, illuminated makeup base. I have tried so many "glow filter" products on the market from luxe to pharmacy price points. The Revlon Illuminance Glow Filter takes the cake in terms of performance respective to value. Since the weather has been getting warmer, I have opted for less makeup and have used this as my everyday base product topped with the illuminance concealer – the perfect "no-makeup-makeup" duo. The formula is weightless and leaves a gorgeous "lit from within" glow without the shimmer or glitter. What sets the Illuminance Glow Filters apart from others on the market is that it also has a blurring feature – something you will not find in many products as it is hard to combine a blur and glow effect into one formula. I love a glow but am not a fan when illuminating primers/foundations accentuate my textured skin, so this, with its smooth finish, has finally given me the results I have been looking for. It has filled a gap in my beauty regime that I didn't know existed! Would highly recommend.

I was interested in trying out this shampoo as I have quite dry hair that could use some caffeine revitalisation, although I am not in the 40+ age bracket, nor do I have fine or brittle hair. Immediately after usage and for the duration prior to washing again, this product left my hair feeling super clean and refreshed. I did notice, mainly in the ends of my hair where I am usually quite dry, that my hair was more hydrated. My hair also felt slightly smoother once dry. Overall, this shampoo treated my hair well, keeping it moistened and clean, although results may be more profound for those within the target market.

As someone who's not in the over-forty age bracket, I was curious to see how the Plantur 39 Caffeine Conditioner would work on my coloured hair. Despite it being marketed for mature hair, I found it to be a great addition to my routine. It left my hair feeling soft and nourished, and I noticed less breakage, which is always a bonus when dealing with colour-treated strands. It also has a subtle yet pleasant scent, which would be ideal for those who do not like overpowering fragrances in hair products.

Usually, using beauty tools felt almost like a chore for me. That was until I was introduced to the Lonvitalite Platinum Contour Roller – it has now become my favourite part of my morning and night-time skincare regime! The product not only looks and feels super luxe, but performs amazingly as the balls hug the face with every stroke. This is the only contour roller I have used whereby I can actually feel a gentle pull that instantly relaxes the muscles in my face. As someone with TMJ syndrome, I use this every morning to de-puff and instantly relax the muscles in my jaw which are extremely tight as a result of clenching. I would highly recommend this tool for those looking to de-puff and release tension around the face, jawline and neck.

This balm is beautiful. Produced with more oils than wax, it coats the lips sensationally with great hydration as soon as it is applied, I can understand why this is considered "ultra conditioning". As it is mainly oils, I feel as though it does not sit on the lips as long as wax-heavy balms do, so you do not have that 'lip balm feel', just intensely moistened lips. The results are loud and lasting – supple, conditioned lips upon first application and for the rest of the day. I can imagine it being great for winter and for those who do not enjoy the waxy feel of a lip balm. Also great for a quick hydration boost before and after heavy lipsticks.

I have been a massive John Frieda fan for as long as I remember and have used their Frizz Ease smoothing creme every day since I got my hands on it. This serum has all the great properties of the Frizz Ease creme with added hydration and gloss! I no longer feel like I need to incorporate an oil into my post-style hair routine as this really is an all-in-one and is my go-to as someone with super frizzy hair. It has a lovely fresh smell to it (that I have been complimented on) and I love that I can use it on damp or dry hair – it is the most perfect product for busy mornings and I sometimes even pop it in my bag for touch-ups throughout the day. The heat protection properties of this serum are also an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Recently I have been obsessed with oil and balm cleansers, thus I have used a plethora of different options out on the market at the moment. In terms of value, the BIODERMA cleansing oil has to be my favourite. It makes removing makeup and everyday impurities morning and night super easy. My skin is left feeling supple and satin. I do find, however, my skin feels the best when I pair this with my usual balm cleanser (using the oil before the balm). This is when my skin feels its best, so I totally recommend using it in a double cleansing regime for that "squeaky clean" look and feel, especially after heavy makeup days. For an everyday, fuss-free cleanse, I totally recommend it!

As someone with super sensitive skin, this lotion has been exactly what I was looking for – a sensitive-safe option that sinks straight into the skin leaving me hydrated instantly with no greasy residue. It has no noticeable fragrance and is perfect for everyday use. I also find it to be great for rough patches, cracked skin and heels as it is quite thick, but not too thick to the point where it sits on the surface of the skin – it is truly just the right consistency. Would recommend for all looking for a sensitive skin-friendly, everyday lotion that is perfect for the whole family.

If you want instantly smooth, hydrated, crack-free results that last, I cannot recommend this lip balm enough. I have tried a plethora of balms but keep resorting to this one. You truly do see visible results in one day. The formulation feels super comfortable and is the type of balm whereby I do not need to keep applying throughout the day – once or twice keeps my lips looking and feeling supple. As someone who wears lots of lip products, I always ensure I apply this under my liners/lipsticks for the ultimate smooth base and longevity. Highly recommend!
