I trialled this product in shade 85 - Violet Vision. A single pack was enough for my thick but short pixie hair. I used the dye over my natural medium-dark brown hair, which to be perfectly honest has a few grays as I draw closer to 30 years old. I followed the instructions for a whole head application, but found the colour came out a little darker than I expected, resulting in a more subtle, deep tint than an all-out vibrant purple. However, as the colour faded and reddened over about ten washes, I've found that the change is more noticeable and have gotten a lot of compliments on it! I can't praise the included conditioner enough - my hair is fine but thick, and some dyes do strip it of its healthiness and cause it to tangle, even when short. Not this one! Even the dye itself was gentle, and when I rinsed out the conditioner after leaving it in for several minutes, my hair felt as though it had had a treatment rather than distressing it with colour. I have used Schwartzkopf on and off over the years and I do think that for the price, this colour is great for a semi-vibrant change. The best results are when under a natural light, as the light picks up the shimmering violet tones. Worth a try for an easy and inexpensive way to change your look!

Product #1 is an unscented, thin but durable cotton pad, with sealed edges which mean that no matter how much toner I splatter onto them, I'm not left with those irritating bits of cotton fluff all over my face. I cannot stress enough how important this is! When using these cotton pads, I found them to be smooth enough to be gentle on the delicate skin around my eyes, and fluff-free enough for me to use to remove my lipstick. They hold toner and makeup remover well, though I did find that even though the edges of the pads remained intact, the center of the pads stretched when wet. Product #2 Product #2 is a thick and durable cotton pad, unscented, with just enough surface friction to make these pads excellent for removing makeup. Whilst I found them effective for this task, I also felt that they were perhaps a little too rough for use with a toner on bare skin. The one downside to these cotton pads is that their edges are not sealed - this makes it more difficult to pick up just one pad at a time without pulling them apart, and also means that if the pad is too wet it can leave fluffy bits on my face. During the blind trial, I found that I preferred Product 1 over Product 2, as product 1 is easier to manage in terms of knowing how many pads I was picking up, and doesn't come apart quite so quickly as product 2. However, both have specific uses that they work best for - Product 1 for lipstick removal and toning, and product 2 for face makeup removal.

When I first began to use these wipes, right away I noticed a huge advantage that this pack has over other wipes - the clip-top lid over the usual "peel back here" sticker ensures that the wipes don't dry out after using just one. Win. The wipes themselves are sturdy yet soft - one wipe is enough to remove all of my makeup without leaving those pesky little fluffy bits on my face. Speaking of my skin, it seems to love this product - non-drying and lightly scented, there is no irritation to my skin or eyes at all when using these wipes. These are great value for money and I will be repurchasing. If you are looking for something effective but inexpensive, look Swisspers' way.

Having been a fan of the cat's eye flick since high school (which was, ahem, some time ago for me) I was excited to try this liner. In fact, because everyone seems to have felt the same way, it took some time for me to locate a store that wasn't sold out! Luckily I was spared the trouble by winning the amazing Glosscars 2013 prize pack. The packaging is compact and the formula is smooth like no other liner I've tried. My long-practiced cat's eye flick has since improved, as the tiny fine tip of this liner allows for maximum control and far less erasing than is normally required. Given that this product is so easy to get right, it has also prompted me to experiment a lot more with fine liner, double-flicks and other looks. I know that when I eventually use this liner up I will most definitely be repurchasing.

When I was asked to review this product after 7 days of use I was a little doubtful that there would be much change to report. But by gosh, there is. I have fairly oily skin and my t-zone can be a problem with some foundations and concealers, even with a good primer. So I was nervous about what my makeup would look like after a few hours. But I found the built-in concealer blended well and held its' own all day The foundation is a fairly sheer cover but can be built a little for heavier coverage, or, as the instructions included will tell you, can be mixed with the concealer for full coverage without feeling too heavy. The packaging is luxurious, as is the feeling of this little wonder on my skin. In particular I love that the accents on the lid are silver, most high-end brands use gold which I don't particularly like. The one teensy flaw is that the shades run a little darker than you'd expect - I am quite pale and chose Beige Ivoire (without testing first as the wonderful BH and Lancome sent me the product to review), and it is a smidgen dark for me. So if I had to try it again without testing I would choose a shade lighter Now, the results! Lancome claims that this foundation works to visibly reduce the appearance of imperfections day after day - more specifically it targets dark spots, pores and wrinkles. And I have to say, this is a product that does what it claims. MONTH UPDATE:
Well, after using Lancome Teint Visionnaire for one month, I can honestly say that my skin is softer, smoother, more moisturized, and my pores appear smaller. And I mean all the time, not just when I have it on. Initially I was impressed by this foundation/concealer/wonder-product because of its creamy consistency and blend-ability - I maintain that these factors are great, but now I really see the effects of the Visionnaire molecule that's included in the formula. In terms of product life, after using this every day for a month, I've really only used a small amount of product - it will be a couple of months before I need to re-purchase (which I will definitely be doing!), making Teint Visionnaire pretty great value for money.  

Once upon a time, I thought that ladies who followed the hype were just shallow. Now I realise, they (we) are actually very wise, and that the hype is created for a reason - this is a foundation in a category all on it's own, and the name of that category is: Awesome. I have this in Buff Chamois and most days when I wear it, I find concealer is unneccessary, because I can just build this up to full coverage. Applied over a primer, you really couldn't ask for a smoother and lighter finish. I find that this is easiest to apply with my fingers, so I do wish that it came in a pump pack, but with a product like this it's hard to complain when the results are so fantastic.

This little tube goes everywhere at work with me. He knows all of my secrets and helps me out in those dry-mouthed, pull-out-my-balm-whilst-stalling-for-time-before-I-answer-a-difficult-question moments. He also thoroughly moisturises and softens my lips with natural ingredients, without being glossy or sticky; and in my handbag, he keeps his cap when all other balms around him are losing theirs. It is most definitely love, and we will be together forever.

I was reluctant to try these at first - the words 'bold' 'pigmented' and 'cream eyeshadow' used to somehow morph into 'disaster' whenever I gave it a go. So I am ecstatic to find that finally, there is a cream eyeshadow I can use without looking like a hypercolor toddler. I do have to warn you though that these shadows are addictive. To begin with, you absolutely MUST own Taupe for the office, and Purple for Saturday night. Then there's the beautiful green, gold, pomegranate and teal that you really can't live without. You see where I'm going with this? But at around $10 a pop when you catch them on sale, these little guys are worth owning. Their sturdy packaging makes them an attractive decoration for your dresser-top, and their no-mess application means that you will use them all the time.

I've been applying this product before bed for a few days. For me, it feels heavy without being greasy, more nourishing than other night creams I've tried. I only wish that EL would follow the trend with other brands and reduce their prices a little. But for a product in the luxury end of things this does work well. My skin eats it up and in the morning I can see and feel that the skin around my eyes has more elasticity and bounce.

This product has saved me. As somebody with quite a few childhood scars on my legs, I've found that this oil has helped my scars to appear less noticeable, and my pale legs look more evenly toned overall. I use this oil all over, straight after a shower, and it absorbs very quickly and doesn't stain my clothes. I purchased my first bottle when there was a promotion with a smaller bottle free, and started with the small bottle which is still going strong after daily use for two weeks. The scent is pleasant without being overwhelming, and considering the low price and results, I can't recommend this oil enough for girls who have tried every cream or gel moisturiser on the planet.
