Tingly! A pretty nice lip balm. I like the lasting tingly feeling that it leaves behind. The texture is like vaseline, probably petroleum jelly based, and therefore almost waterproof. Staying power is good and the product is not too sticky. Keeps lips moisturised probably from barrier effect. Would prefer to apply it directly rather than using fingertips though so I have given it 4 stars. I do like it more than chapstick balms as I think the lasting power is better from Carmex products. I actually think that it's really good for guys who don't like any floral or sweet scented lip balms. Hubby likes it and puts it in his travel case.

Re-reviewing for Best in Beauty 2012. I'm terribly biased when it comes to Estee Lauder skin care products, since most of the products I have tried have been great. This one was good but not fantastic. Nonetheless I thought it deserved an honourable mention for Best In Beauty. I have added to my previous review. It was a good moisturiser but not the best. The moisture was good but I found my complexion getting a bit oily especially after a few hours after application. It's pretty hard for me to find a moisturiser that doesn't make things worse for my oily skin. This was alright and might be good for some ladies but not for me. I conclude that Daywear is probably better used in temperature climates and during winter, when weather is driest, as opposed to tropical weather when the skin needs less moisture.

Got this at beautorium and I was really happy about it. The product is packaged beautifully. It has a nice grey-blue almost texturised bottle that has a spray top. The product itself was a little tough for me to apply on my own, hubby had to help in order for me a achieve an even spray. Applied on dry or wet hair, I found the effect to be similar. I thought it would really bring out the waves in my hair and it did sort of do that. My complaint is that it made my hair sort of frizzy too regardless of the humidity, not smooth like I thought it would. It was slightly "crunchy" too and a little stiff. It did serve to keep my hair in the same state all evening long though. So good as a hairspray. I know others have had experiences that were more positive than mine. Maybe I should try an oil-based product and then apply this on top to bring out the waves, or the other way around. Well, whatever it is, I haven't found the right combination to emphasise my waves and yet not make my hair frizzy. Might work for you, wasn't fantastic for me.

Re-reviewing this for Best in Beauty 2012. After having used this for a while, I believe that this a good product for ladies who have very dry eye areas/wrinkles. For me, it did cause some fat deposits which were rather annoying. Nonetheless, I think that since this is a decent product for others, maybe not specifically for me, it is worthy of Best in Beauty. My other comments still stand as below. I like the texture of this eye cream. You don't need to use much so a little goes a long way toward wrinkle prevention. I agree with what the other reviewers say about it being inconvenient not being in a tube. That change would make life easier. The product itself does hydrate the eye area, as promised.

Wanted to re-review this product just because I think it should have a decent shot at the award in this category. Really happy with it and since my eyeliners generally go into one of two categories: to throw/not to throw. In other words, if I get loads of smudging, out the liner goes. Thankfully this one has remained firmly in my "keep" pile. I got this at beautorium on a whim and am very happy that I did! Thanks a million bh!!!
This product has made me a liquid eyeliner convert! I thought that was not possible. It glides on easily and just like a felt tip pen, allowing very good precision. It stays well too, which was a huge boon for me as I am prone to panda eyes. I love love love that you can vary the thickness you wish to create by a slight adjustment of your brush stroke, and can draw cute little designs too. Would use this if I needed to do makeup for a costume party as well! All in all a great find at beautorium.

I'm re-reviewing this for Best in Beauty. After having had this for longer than I did when I wrote my initial review, my impression of this product remains the same. Well I suppose that means that at least it is a consistently decent performing product. The product is a silky smooth light pink material that is probably silicone-based. It feels like it is completely waterproof and does not absorb into the skin. I smoothed it on prior to using foundation but after using moisturiser and it seemed to stay quite well. It enhanced the staying power of my powder foundation. I didn't use it with my liquid foundation as that stayed quite well on its own. The primer increases the wear time of the powder foundation but also allows other products, such as blush, to stick and hang around for longer as well! To me it has fulfilled the function for which it was designed and therefore I am satisfied with the product. There are no bells or whistles associated with this product and I have found it to be a simple straight primer. Might not use it daily but very good for night on the town type wear. Recommended since the price is pretty good too and it is easily available at most chemists.

I guess people want different things from a lipstick. Some people want moisture, some want staying power. Truth is that this product does do both if used correctly. Lipfinity comes as a set of two: Colour and Moisture. To use it, first apply the colour, which dries on lips and pretty much makes it colourfast. This colour is so good at staying on the lips that it sticks though oily meals and wiping with napkins. The moisture part of it is more like lip balm but is a good adjunct to the colour. My mom also swears by this and always makes me buy lots of it whenever on sale. Highly recommended if you want your lipstick colour to last and last and last. The only downside is that it can be a bit drying if not used with the lip balm that accompanies it.

Impressed! Having previously had a few experience with Lancome products that were "ok but not outstanding", I was a little sceptical when trying this one. Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Lancome's Teint Idole is a liquid foundation. Being new on the market, it seemed like a the product of too much marketing. Nonetheless I decided to visit a Lancome counter and did receive a week's supply of this product. Wow! The Beauty advisor matched my skin tone to the right foundation and gave me a cute little jar to take it home in. The product itself went on with a velvety smooth finish and blended VERY well with my skin tone. It gave me porcelain-like flawless finish and covered pores up as well. After having tried unsuccessfully to make my blush stay put with other foundations, this one made the blush hold fast the entire day! It was great. While I am not sure how this foundation would work in tropical weather (would love to try it sometime), in temperature climates, it has proven to be a great "dinner date" foundation and I am very pleased with it. Sigh, the only thing that gives me pause is the cost of it. Don't know why cosmetics in Australia are so horribly expensive. That alone is a crime! If it were more reasonably priced (eg. $45 in the USA vs over $60 here - robbers and thieves!), I would be more likely to purchase and repurchase.

Fresh and minty scrub! I found this scrub loads of fun to use.I used it while it in the shower, about a 10cent sized portion, I applied it generously to my face using circular motions and allowing the beads to work their exfoliating magic, and then washed it off. The scrub had a lovely cucumber scent that was inoffensive and pleasant. It also gave my skin a nice cooling minty sensation on use and right after. My skin looked really smooth! Since I applied my night moisturiser right after it, I had no complaints about dry skin or itching. Overall, a good scrub!

I'm re-reviewing this for Best of Beauty 2012. This product certainly gets my vote:
Of all the shavers and waxers I have used in the last few years, this is the best. The complaints I have are few and the nicks and cuts, even fewer (if any at all since use is soooo smooth). Pros: Beautiful packaging, easy to open due to the perforated lines at the back of the cardboard. Instructions were clear and well placed on the inside of the box. The handle was meant to resemble water or waves and I found that to be a nice touch as it made the razor easier to hold as well. The in-the-shower suction stand was great! Loved it! It stayed well on tiled shower walls and held the razor. Really also like the shave that this product produced. It was smooth and helped by the skin moisturizing gel that was activated by heat. The five blades also made for good even coverage of skin surfaces Cons: So many blades made it more difficult to rinse. I couldn't get all the hair particles out after each shave, which was a little gross. Also, the price, is a little steep. There were only 2 blades in the set so I didn't really feel that if I had paid for it that I would have received my money's worth All in all, a good product. Really like it , not sure that I would buy it again due to the price of the product and of the refills though.
