I did not enjoy using this particular face cream, which definitely surprised me as typically I'm not picky with moisturisers. My first impression was, is this sunscreen? It smells quite like one, the texture is very thick and the cream comes out very bright looking. I have dry skin, but despite this I could not enjoy this product on the face. Its just too thick, too reminiscent of sunscreen, never feels like it sinks in, and has an unfortunate scent. It would be a nice cream to have for severe rough and dry patches on the body. Elbows, heels, hands and feet.

Just to preface the review, I do not usually have a dedicated eye cream in my routine. The area isn't something I'm especially concerned about and thus will just use my existing skincare and apply to the area. I have found this completely sufficient for my particular skincare needs. However the cream itself is quite nice. I was pleasantly surprised by the packaging. I was expecting the small tube yes, but the squeezey kind. It actually has a cap and a pump! Cute. Quite easy to dispense an appropriate amount without going overboard which is easier to mess up with squeeze tubes. Only potential concern is how it may fare once the product is reaching empty stage. As it's quite small to begin with you don't want to feel like any was wasted as it can't dispense at lower levels. Anyway the formula feels nice on the skin, it is a concentrated moisturiser but still bordering on lotion viscosity. Spreads very nicely and does not require much product at all to feel adequately applied. I can't speak to any long term effects as a couple months would be more suitable trial time. I would say it provides immediate benefits to the area in terms of hydration. As this area can typically be dry for me, especially when applying concealer or foundation it did improve the appearance of makeup when applied over the top. I will continue to use this as a step in my makeup routine, but don't feel the need to incorporate it every day as I don't feel it is necessary with my current skincare setup.

Okay so to be fair I did prefer this night cream over the day version. It is most likely because my skin is drier than dry, but somehow not quite to the point of simply flaking off of my face luckily. Similarly to the day cream it comes in a tub, only a minor annoyance and a slight hindrance for me when I'm trying to slap my routine on quickly so I can get into bed already after procrastinating and staying up too late. So maybe that one is on me? Light scent, I don't hate it, cleany, greeny, can't quite pinpoint it smell. Nothing too obvious and not that bad. Fades into the background after application. Won't cause raging headache. Formulation is nice enough, didn't give my skin any adverse reactions. Feels a bit creamier than the day version understandably. Absorbs fairly quickly but doesn't completely disappear which I like. And it also didn't leave me feeling like I had a layer just sitting on top of my skin not absorbing. I had high hopes it would still be there in the morning. But apart from some face oil build up it was pretty well gone by morning. Room is damn cold at night and has a draft so that doesn't help. In terms of its claims to firm and reduce lines... I cannot confirm that it does that so far. I'm not sure what ingredients it has that can do this as it seems fairly bog standard. New smell new packaging - same cream?! Who knows Not for me in the end

Okay so it isn't that bad, I'm not surprised that it's average. Nivea do tend to make nice creams... For the body. The consistency isn't too heavy, a bit lotiony, takes a bit to rub in but not overly so. It is noticeably scented, smells cleanish but not like anything in particular. The smell does fade however so it is not too strong. Comes in a tub, which seems to be the norm for this sort of product nowadays, it seems the supermarket type brands aren't even bothering to come out with facial moisturisers that aren't in tubs now. Easy enough to just use with super clean hands but little bits of stuff just seem to float themselves into the pot which is just not satisfying at all lol. For reference I have pretty dry skin. More so now that's it's cold as heck out. This is not enough on its own. I feel it needs to be layered with another occlusive otherwise it is not enough moisture a couple hours into my day. The formula feels nice. But I think that is mostly due to the high level of alcohol in the product. Comparing it to other products that have worked well for my dry skin which normally list the alcohol near the bottom, it's one of the top ingredients here. I have not seen an improvement in my skin since using this. Though ideally I would persevere for a few more weeks before deciding. So far I do not buy into the claim that it can reduce fine lines and firm skin... What does it contain that can pull that off? It also doesn't seem to have SPF? It's a day cream... For anti ageing... Whole thing just seems like a re-skin of one of their other multitude of creams, with "greener" branding which is also deceptive. Natural doesn't inherently make skincare "good" I wouldn't buy it

Appreciate that it's a vegan formula. Found it fine to use as a make up remover - it is labelled as a "cleansing tonic". It has that classic Nicea scent that I remember from their skincare products I used as a teen. This is comparable to other micellar water type products as it's a very runny water like consistency and it is intended to use as a cleansing step only not as a leave on toner. It removed regular tubing mascara without issue. However in my opinion it doesn't really have a place in a cleansing routine - especially as a "final step" which is what this is intended to be. Your cleanser should remove your makeup and if there is still visible residue then the cleanser isn't doing enough, or an oil cleanse followed by a gel or cream cleanser is needed if wearing sunscreen or waterproof makeup. Having those things already I am not really able to incorporate this into any routine and there are definitely already nicer products out there. Alcohol is second on the ingredient list, followed by glycerin so potentially not so bad as it's a wash off product but still not great. It also perpetuates the notion that "natural is better" which is questionable at best especially in a Nivea product - a marketing ploy and lumped in with the Vegan claim. So it's not bad but I would give it a miss - fine if you like water cleansers but I believe a toner should be a leave on product that benefits the skin and that we should move away from these cleanser only toners

I think the last root touch up product I tried was actually the kind that came in powder form, so it's nice to see that things have really evolved since then as those were very messy and a lot more time consuming to use. This however is fairly simple and straight forward. You just pick a colour that matches as close as you need it to (I believe the shade range is fairly limited at the minute) and then shake and spray. So I really can't complain as it does do what it says it should, basically. I think the product is basically just like a coloured/tinted version of dry shampoo spray, and you can even already get dried shampoo that is coloured so this is sort of the specialist version. It is priced accordingly and seems a tiny bit steep when you consider for the same price you could buy a box dye instead. Another thing to keep in mind is that I don't believe it would actually last for 25 applications, something closer to 10-15 would be more accurate. But I suppose this would vary depending on regrowth/greys. The biggest let down I suppose is that wherever you apply the root touch up, it imparts a matte finish, so if your hair was shiny, basically forget about it. So it is dulling, but I guess that is the nature of dry shampoo essentially.

So this was a bit of a weird one. I guess I'm just a fan of classic moisturizers. Thicker, buttery kinds. This very much is not. It is an extremely light weight body moisturiser. It pumps out of the bottle (kudos for the pump though) quite thinly. It spreads quickly and thinly over the skin. It doesn't take too long to settle into the skin, but on me it feels odd. Almost silicone-like. Like a primer meant for your face but on your body? Granted after it dries it doesn't feel very greasy, but it also doesn't feel like it's done much at all. Running my hands over my skin I can't be sure where I applied the product maybe 10 minutes after doing it. I can't see this having any long lasting effect. I am unsure of where the 'oil' from the name comes into play. And then there's the smell. It reminds me very much of sunscreen, but with an unpleasant addition of generic floral which is a shame. It would be nice to see Nivea break the mold and make a moisturiser that smells delicious, perhaps in line with the light moisturiser theme something fresh like cucumber/watermelon? Just a thought. Anyway, this one was not for me.

Okay well I have to say first of all that I did not care for the scent at all. It's labeled ginger and basil but unfortunately to my nose smells more like a box of oranges that have been left out for a few weeks, the scent is citrusy and sort of "off" smelling in a way. It's hard to explain and it may just be me experiencing it. Anyway! The rest is quite good. The packaging is pretty standard, flip top, squeeze out. I like the colour of the product - it comes out blue/clayish, think a brighter dead sea. The formula feels quite nice as well, thick but still runny, spreads easily over the skin. I suppose the biggest selling point is the benefits to the skin. This is a great alternative to bar soap as it doesn't leave the skin with that weird residue leftover or even worse, totally dry. I actually use it to shave with now and it's been working really well for that purpose. Although it doesn't leave my skin feeling anymore soft than usual, it's still an upgrade from regular soap and I would be interested in sniffing out the other available scent options.

First of all, the scent is gorgeous. I have said this in my previous two reviews I made for the shampoo and leave in treatment from the range and I'll say it again. Like laying on a beach with a ridiculous drink topped with tropical fruit. Amazing! The conditioner comes in a cute pump top bottle which is heaps handy when in the shower. I think it's the easiest way to get product out when you might be slippy and soapy. Definitely a lot easier than twisting off the lid on a huge tub and then trying to get it back on again with a huge handful of conditioner threatening to wobble off your palm at any moment. The formula is quite thick, it comes out white and in medium sized squirts. I reckon I pump the bottle a good ten times to get enough conditioner for my hair out! I start by applying at the very ends and mid-sections, then run anything that's left down the back end of my head towards the ends again, making sure it gets worked in well. Then I just do all of my other shower related stuff and get back to it after. I think it's good to give it at least 5 minutes to work its magic. So I've noticed with this conditioner vs your average supermarket stuff, it doesn't give you that slimy, slick feeling on your hair when applying or when washing out. Actually, when I get around to washing the product out it actually feels relatively dry, like it has been absorbing into the strands. Now if you're going from Pantene (etc) to this, this may be alarming. But I assure you it is fine! This stuff washes out SUPER fast compared to those silicone filled products and my hair feels light and not at all weighed down afterwards. When my hair is dry again, it looks nice, it feels nice. I straighten my hair every once in a while and as a result have some split ends. But I feel as if this product is actually helping with those. At the very least, they're not getting worse. Winning! Do yourself a favour and try this, along with the shampoo. Great stuff.

I wanted to love this product so much. I absolutely adore the shampoo and conditioner from the same line from Sheamoisture but for some reason I just can't get this product to work well for me! When it first arrived I assumed it was a hair mask due to the tub being so alike to other hair masks available out there. But it is actually a leave in product you can use wet or dry. The scent from the tub when you take off the lid is crazy good, just like the rest of the range. It makes me wish that summer would hurry up and get here faster! It sits pretty thick in the tub, but does move a bit if you tilt it around. It has the consistency of a thick conditioner. So I usually use a De Lorenzo leave in treatment applied to my damp hair after a shower and so I thought this could easily replace that, judging by the directions, which say to apply product sparingly to damp hair. I have tried it maybe 3 times so far (I wash my hair once a week) and I just haven't been able to get it feeling 'nice'. No matter what I do, it feels awkward on my strands like it's not really sinking, just sitting on top of it. It sort of makes my hair feel tacky and weird. Another unfortunate thing to note is that it made my (thick and curly) hair take so much longer to air dry than usual. I am going to persist in using it in different ways to hopefully render some better results for myself. I might try mixing it with a bit of water and popping some in a spray bottle? Anyway I do not want to give up on this product as the shampoo and conditioner from the range have been fabulous and I just can't get enough of the scent.
