I didn't have to pull at my eye, it glided on easily but wasn't to creamy that it smudged by the end of the day. In fact, it didn't budge at all! Has great pigmentation, you do get quite a bit for your money. Mine lasted me about four months using it religiously. I'm now on too my second! Only thing would be the sharpener on the other end isn't very good. But oh wells!
