First time I have tried Essano, and I love it! The advanced brightening vitamin C serum will have to be my all-time fave Vitamin C product. I have used a handful of vitamin c products before, and this one has a lotion-like, light texture that was quite pleasant on the skin. Many Vit C serum would sting my face, yet this product simply left a tingling sensation on my face, when it was sensitive due to being exposed to over-heating in the winter months. I think it also helped to reduce some of the pigmentations which were left as a result of perioral dermatitis around the corners of my mouth, which was a relief. Overall, my face did look much brighter (I applied it overnight), and I applied it again in the morning. I did find that perhaps Vitamin C was better suited to night use, and my face got a bit more sensitive during the day.

I am always after anything that is anti-ageing, and this feels like the perfect product to behold. What is more, this booster oil has Retinol, which is widely known for its ability to reduce wrinkles and the appearance of fine lines. When I first used this, I was going through a very dry-skin period. I had perioral dermatitis, and the skin around my cheeks and mouth plus nose areas were very dry. I was using it more for the purpose of treating dry skin. What I loved about it, is it was really moisturising, which was what I desperately needed for my dry skin. Because of the Bakuchiol (natural retinol), it also helped with pigmentation. I applied some around the corners of my mouth (which were left dark after my perioral dermatitis, and they looked lighter the following day, which was a pleasant suprise. I will need to use it for more days for the result to be more accurate. But I recommend this!

I have tried too may makeup setting sprays and must say I have not been fond of any. But all Nude by Nature products smell divine, and this is no exception. The spray was relatively easy to use, just pressing down and smell releases a fine mist across the face. My experience with this was somewhat different. I prefer to spray onto the palms of my hands, then patting the spray evenly all over my face. At first my face looked a bit spotty, and I blamed this partly due to patting the spray, rather than spraying the setting spray all over my face. But after about an hour or two my face looked quite set. By the end of the day, my face looked quite set still, my makeup has not gone stray, and my face did not look as oily as it normally world after a long day at work. I recommend you try this :)

This is the BEST primer I have ever tried. It is non-greasy and quite mattifying. It has a lotion-like texture, and very easy to apply. I mixed it with some rosewater mist. I then applied it all over my face using fingertips, It smelled quite divine, and very watery. When it went on my face, it was almost like a serum rather than a primer. My face looked quite matte after application, but I was yet to see the mattifying effect. I then waited for a few minutes before applying foundation. After half an hour, I began to see the blurring effect starting to take place. The pores of my face looked much less visible, almost as smooth as it could have been. I was quite happy with this product, and perhaps the best primer I have ever used in a long time. I strongly recommend this primer for all makeup addicts.

First time I have tried a Weleda facial cream, and it is not too bad either! I am quite happy with the consistency of the cream, in a very light, almost 'enriched' version of a lotion. I mixed the lotion with a bit of facial toner. It goes on easily and is easy to spread all over face. The smell was fresh, with a hint of cactus (although i was not quite sure if that was really the smell of cactus?). The products claims to have 24 hours of hydration, so I was not surprised to find that my face was well moisturized and hydrated. Before this I had dry slightly red patches around the nose and mouth, as well as below the eye areas. It was irritating when I was blowing my nose or when cleansing my face. I used this hydrating face cream last night, and when I woke up I could my face was much calmer. So yes I would love to use it again and again.

LOVE this hair thickening treatment. The previous one (The Ordinary) that I was using required me to use a dropper to disperse the hair treatment, whereas this one only required me to spray it all over the roots! Much, much more convenient. It has a nice aroma, too. I applied it by spray it all over roots, and along the hairline. I have been using it on clean hair days (i.e., days that I wash my hair, which is every second day). So I have used it for roughly three times now (nearly a week), and could already see a noticeable difference. Firstly, my hair would not fall out as much after each shower. Secondly, I think i could see some baby hair along the sides of my head (near the hair line), which was great. Because I also have very fine hair, I could see my hair is not as limp as it used to be. So, I am hoping to see more improvements as I continue to use it.

I have tried ever so many lotions for sensitive and dry skin, and I thought this one was no different. Actually, it was slightly different than the ones I have tried before. The lotion was very light and goes easily on my face. I would use it on my skin and neck. Lately, my face has been quite sensitive due to winter and central heating, that my face is showing red and flakiness in various parts. Therefore, parts of my face are dry and painful to touch. Ever since I use this for a few nights in a row, I could see my face is not so prone to redness, and there was a reduction in flaking. My face is also showing a healthy glow, and was less painful to touch when I was applying serums and moisturisers. I would recommend this to anyone going through winter and the upcoming hayfever season (or those whose faces are reactive to seasonal changes) to give this a go.

I have tried too many heel balms in the past, and nearly 9 out 10 has a thick, greasy consistency which can be quite off-putting for someone who hates greasiness. This is probably a heel balm which really surprised me. The consistency is a lotion-based balm (very uncommon amongst heel balms), which goes on the skin smoothly and easy to be spread evenly. The smell was nice and not too overwhelming. I have used the heel balm for a few days now. While I am yet to see major improvements in terms of cracks being healed, I have noticed that my heels and soles are getting smoother, the skin is much softer as a result. I also noticed that when I was doing my weekly heel/sole exfoliation, the heel and sole areas were much easier to exfoliate compared to a week ago, which was a major improvement. Definitely recommend it!

Very moistursing. The lip gloss is quite hydrating with a hint of colour. It does feel a bit sticky (as most lip glosses are). But the smell is pleasant. I would have loved the colour to be a bit more, as my lips look shiny and hydrated, but the colour doesn't really show. Nowadays I am also more concsious of what I put on lips, and Burt's Bees being a natural brand makes me feel more confident about this product. Surprisingly, after a few minutes of having applied the lipgloss, my lips do not feel as sticky as when I first applied the lipgloss, and I think that was when the moisture has finally settled into the skin. The only downside is the lack of 'shimmer' in lipglosses that you would normally get. With a bit more splash of shimmer, this lip gloss would have been a perfect 'make-up-and-go' accessory.

Initially I thought I don't have any greys, so I was not quite sure how I would be providing feedback on this hair mascara. But then I thought I could use it as a tinted hair mascara and provide feedback accordingly. This great little hair mascara reminded me of the tinted mascaras I was using in high school to add that subtle splash of colour in my hair. And that as exactly what I did. I used the hair mascara on a small strand of my hair, starting from mid-strand and brushing all the way down. Then I released my strand of hair and brushed more evenly. I am glad I chose 'dark brown' even though I have black hair, as my hair is not completely black under the sun. The result was quite natural, it would be hard to tell that I used anything like a hair mascara on my hair. Overall, I am quite happy with the natural look and the ease of application.
