The Avene Hyaluron Activ B3 serum is beautifully packaged and really delivers. As a plumping serum this little beauty is working a treat, my skin looks and feels healthier, smoother and the finer lines are definitely less noticeable. It has also been great to find a product that delivers results and that is calming my skin sensitivity, which is usually at its worst at this time of year. This serum leaves my skin feeling moisturised even when I don’t use a moisturiser as well. This serum comes in a compact clear 30ml glass bottle with a dropper, which looks simple and stylish. I find using a serum is more time consuming but for me the results are worth it.

I found Nivea Firming Q10 plus Vitamin C body lotion is a great for my dry skin. This product delivers great hydration and the Vitamin C helps impart a healthy glow. The lotion's texture is creamy and non-greasy, making it easy to apply and it leaves my skin feeling silky-smooth and nourished all day long. I can’t honestly say that it delivers on firmer and more elastic skin , but I've noticed a visible improvement in the dryness and flakiness. The fragrance is light and pleasant, and the affordable price point makes it an excellent value for the quality it delivers. If you're seeking an effective solution for dry skin, the Nivea Firming Q10 plus Vitamin C body lotion is a must-try. I recommend it to others with dry skin.

Glow Lab Brightening Exfoliator was an impulse buy which is surprisingly good. The blend of rosehip oil, omega oils, vitamins and fruit acids is designed to nourish the skin whilst exfoliating. I found that the rosehip seeds were very finely ground making it a very gentle exfoliant and the addition of vitamins and natural oils added to the brightening effect. I found it left my skin feeling smooth, looking brighter (exfoliation always makes my skin look brighter) and did not cause any irritation. Glow Lab exfoliator contains no nasties, is cruelty free, PH balanced, dermatologically tested and affordable. I love that it is a very gentle exfoliator which helps keep my skin looking great.

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+ Balm is a French product, which is fragrance free and enriched with vitamin B5, antibacterial agents (zinc/manganese) and prebiotics (fancy name Tribioma). As an added bonus all of the packaging is recyclable. I have enjoyed using this balm on my skin which has been tight, dry and itchy lately, and have been using it for two weeks on my face, lips, neck and parts of my body (particularly my elbows and knees). The packaging states it is suitable to use on minor skin irritations (where the skin is not broken) and suitable for use on the whole family including children and babies. The balm comes in a white 40 ml tube which looks quite stylish and is made of recyclable plastic. The product is very thick for a balm and a little goes a long way, it does leave a slight white tinge on the skin and I found the scent was barely detectable. This is a rich moisturiser that takes a little longer to absorb than my normal moisturiser and it took a little while for me to be comfortable with the way it looked during application. I have been applying Cicaplast Baume B5+ Balm to clean dry skin morning and night and feel that my skin is softer, less tight and I am getting a little less irritation. The best results were on my elbows and as a spot treatment for the redness and irritation it was awesome. There are warnings on the pack and it does concern me a little that you should avoid use in the eye contour area. This may be because this balm is heavier than many moisturisers and could block pores. The balm does not contain any sunscreen, so during the day remember to also apply sunscreen after applying the balm. I won’t be replacing my normal facial moisturiser because I find it sits on my skin and I personally don’t like the way it feels. Having said that I will be continue to use it on my neck and décolletage, elbows and for itches and dry patches as I have found it is helping to ease the dryness and making my skin look and feel better. Sukin Skin Relief Facial Moisturiser is an Australian made product, containing natural ingredients including native ingredients like emu apple extract and it comes in recyclable packaging. This paraben and fragrance-free moisturiser which is enriched with plant prebiotics and maize complex is PH balanced and designed to soothe and hydrate excessively dry tight skin and it delivers on its promises. With the change of season my skin has been tight, dry and itchy so having the opportunity to try this product has been awesome as I would usually have purchased an anti-aging product. This moisturiser comes in a 125 ml dark amber pump pack which is made of recyclable plastic which is BPA free. A single pump delivers a generous amount of thick, creamy moisturiser with a barely detectable scent. This is a moisturiser which is designed to be gently massaged into the skin of the face, neck and décolletage and I found the single pump was plenty to cover the entire area. This is a rich moisturiser that takes a little longer to absorb than my normal moisturiser, and given how much better my skin is feeling the extra minute added to my morning routine is worth it. My skin feels soft and is no longer tight or itchy. It was so good I have even purchased the Sukin Skin Relief Body Lotion which has been a saviour for the itchiness I have been getting on my arms and legs. I will definitely be repurchasing this product any time my skin is going through a tight, dry or itchy phase (usually the change of each season) as it has definitely delivered the promised skin relief. It is also really good value for money and can often be found on special.

Dove Triple Moisturising Body Wash comes in a good sized stylish 1L pump bottle which is perfect for the shower and suitable for the whole family to use. I use this body wash with a shower puff to work up a lovely rich lather with a luxurious creamy consistency that is a pleasure to use and leaves my skin super soft and lightly hydrated after showering. Dove have also designed this product to be microbiome friendly using plant based moisturiser and naturally derived cleansers. It has a light pleasant fragrance and the handy pump bottle means no mess in the shower and no nasty soap scum. My skin tends to be sensitive and extremely dry in winter and this body wash certainly helped manage the dryness, though I did find I still needed to moisturise. In general, I love that Dove is a brand with a purpose that is cruelty free, free of nasties like sulfate and parabens, recyclable, supports self-esteem and offers great value. It is quite often on sale in the supermarket which is great because you can grab a few extra.
