I was lucky enough to try this out as a part of the Beauty Heaven Trial Team. I have tried a different conditioning product from the OGX collection previously, but can't remember which one (but it had a purple bottle). For the Argan Oil of Morocco conditioner - this is overall a good product, I felt that the conditioner de-tangled my hair and definitely provided good hydration and moisture post-shampoo. As with the shampoo, I liked the scent, I'd justsay that the packaging is a bit boring and dated - they've had the same packaging for at least 10 years now, if not longer.

I like that OGX have a really large range of different key ingredients for different hair types. For the Argan Oil of Morocco shampoo - this shampoo was a little under-whelming for me. I liked the scent, but it took two washes before my hair felt properly clean. I would have expected to get a clean wash with just one, so overall you need a lot more product. I'd also say that the packaging is a bit dated - they've had the same packaging for at least 10 years now, if not longer.

Thanks BH for allowing me to review this for this year's Glosscars! I am a fan of body sculpting and lymphatic drainage, so I was keen to give the cup a go. Unfortunately it wasn’t really for me – it took ages to get the hang of it, as if you squeeze too hard you can accidentally pinch your skin and it’s quite painful! BH also sent us the matching body lotion, as this tool cannot be used on dry skin – I was very pleased with the lotion + sculpting tool combo, but it’s an extra product and an extra step at the end of the day, so I prefer getting similar results with a plain old dry brush.

I love Weleda products – they’re beautifully made, with all natura and non-toxic ingredients, they use active botanicals for witchy benefits and they have really lovely packaging. I loved this moisturiser – it’s thick without being sticky, it’s rich and lush on my face and neck. The skin food range is known for being a cult product and this night cream is no exception! I have quite sensitive skin, but for some reason none of Weleda’s moisturisers and lotions set me off, and I can use them on my toddler who has even more ultra-sensitive skin.

I don’t usually use body mists like this (or rather, I haven’t since the 90s when Impulse first came out with their epic scent, SPICE, which was aptly released by the Spice Girls!), but this one actually has me won over. I now keep it next to my front door, so I can do a quick spritz when I’m heading out the door for glamourous task such as checking the mailbox, or running out for a coffee. I like that the scent isn’t too floral/sweet or overwhelming, it’s just a pleasant almost neutral feminine smell. It has good staying power and I also sprayed it directly onto my body and clothes and it didn’t stain. Overall, a neat little product.

Whilst I love the idea of this product (a 2-in-1 straightening and curling iron) there were just too many issues with the design to get me over the line. First, the way that it works means that the straightening plates shift down to become the handle/wand for the curling iron. So if you want to straighten and then curl your hair, you have to wait quite a while for the straightening plates to cool down before you lock move them down and lock them in place to use the curling wand. Personally, as a mum to a young toddler, I just don’t have that kind of time! I can definitely see this as a useful idea, and perhaps might be worth it if you were travelling for an event and only wanted to take one device with you, but for me the pros just didn’t outweigh the cons. Overall – Remington curlers are generally the best though, and this one has heaps of great features, such as a dual-voltage feature.

I loved this body lotion – although I will say that the packaging for me was a turn off (hilariously my husband said it looked like a bottle of grout cleaner that he buys from Bunnings). What an amazing product though – despite the packaging, this body lotion is ultra smooth, absorbs really quickly and left my skin feeling moisturised without being sticky. I absolutely hate ultra thick body lotions, so I was a bit trepidatious about trailing this, but was really pleasantly surprised at how nice it is and how smoothly it goes on. Absolutely no complaints about this simple, quiet performer!

Thanks BH for allowing me to review this for this year's Glosscars! I loved this overnight lip treatment - simple, easy to apply, and not sticky at all! It works an absolute treat, and I definitely noticed a massive difference to the skin on my lips. It’s really easy to apply - could maybe do with a kitsch-up on the packaging but for this price point the product is amazing! I liked how smooth it glides on, and I really hate sticky residue on my lips, so I was really happy to see that this wasn’t an issue.

I was very excited to receive this as part of the Trial Team, as I have had a Remington curler in my drawer since the early 00s and it has been a faithful curl-servant for nearly 20 years. This product is super easy to use, has all the features that you need from a curling tong, and is a great size at 32mm (thicker curls are v understated French IT girl). The digital controls are all so much more up-to-date than my older Remington gal (though it demonstrates the longevity of these products!) and it heats up really quickly for when you're inevitably late for that event.

I trialled this product as part of the Beauty Heaven Trial Team - I'm a longtime fan of Avène products, they have great ingredients and results for a reasonable price. This serum is rich, creamy and dewy with a glowy finish. My skin is quite sensitive and I had no issues at all. I mainly used it at night but can be used morning or evening - it's hydrating and contains most of the hot ingredients that dermatologists on TikTok tell me that I need on my skincare routine - hyaluronic acid and B3. I think Avène does really cute packaging and I love the hot combo of clean white + coral pink. Would definitely recommend!
