This product comes housed in a slim squeeze tube and narrow tip which enables precise dispensing. Texture wise, it is a gel-creme which is a bit thick and requires some warming to spread with no detectable scent. I found that I needed to use a fair amount of product to fully cover my face. I used this day and night for 3 weeks in conjunction with my usual serums and sunscreen and found a slight reduction in oiliness, however sometimes I felt the need to layer an additional moisturiser layer on top as this product was a bit too drying for my skin. This does not interfere with make-up and I was able to get through the day without pilling, excessive oilyness or dry/irritated skin (with occasional moisturiser layer on top if needed). There is an initial purging process whilst using this, suggesting the product was doing its job, so would recommend factoring adjustment time when introducing this product into a regimen. For oily/combo, this product may not be moisturising enough however this may suit those with very oily and/or blemish prone skin. For my skin type, it was occasionally not moisturising enough, however I felt that the product mixed well with my usual products and did not cause irritation or discomfort. I generally enjoy using LRP products, however on this occasion this product although it performed well, did not suit my skin type. If the product was a little more moisturising and easy to speead, it would receive a 4 star rating :)

I've not had experience with Bio-Oil products before and was interested in trialling a product with some very big claims. With the colder weather coming, an oil is a fantastic way to stay hydrated so I was very excited to trial this. Unfortunately (and unsurprisingly), this product did not do much for stretch marks and this is something I'm not fussed about as I was very happy with how it worked for keeping my skin hydrated. This oil worked really well on dry, damaged or scaly skin and was not irritating to my sensitive skin. I usually apply a few drops on each area, warmed up between my hands and onto damp skin after a shower. I can see this product lasting ages due to the small amount needed to cover large areas. The dispensing is a breeze as it is a controlled dropper system where single drops are dispensed once the bottle is inverted, more if you squeeze the bottle. There's a slight sweet/floral scent to this but it isn't overpowering and quickly dissipates. Texture wise, it's not too greasy for an oil and feels lighter than rosehip oil as a comparison, it absorbs within minutes of application which is handy for those in a rush and doesn't leave a greasy residue on your hands after you're done. After about 1.5 weeks of daily use, I'm really happy to say my skin is noticeably more hydrated and less irritated after showering. Although advertised for skin blemishes such as scarring and stretch marks, I'm really happy with how this product worked as a daily moisturiser so I would consider repurchasing after running out.

Hands down my favourite product from the trial. I've always avoided retinols and their equivalents because I didn't think I needed it, or I was worried about skin sensitivity, particularly to the sun. That and most products are very heavy thick creams which doesn't appeal to me as I have oily/combination skin. That said, I do want to look after my skin as best I can so I was super excited to try this out. This product comes housed in an amber glass dropper bottle and the consistency is a thin oil. Probably my favourite thing about it is that it applies like a dry oil and sinks into the skin almost immediately. I place 2-3 drops and warm them up between my hands before gently patting on my face and décolletage. Whatever is left over gets rubbed into my hands. No greasy/heavy sensation, no shiny/oily face. There's no strong scent associated with it either, which is a bonus for me. I apply this only in the PM as I want to avoid anything that may make my skin sun sensitive during the day and have noticed a huge improvement in skin texture and breakouts. Usually around that time of month, I'll get painful hormonal breakouts which scar and look hideous. Since I've incorporated this oil, I still get breakouts but they are much smaller and almost unnoticeable, now my hormonal breakouts don't actually hurt either. My make up applies so much smoother thanks to the exfoliating properties, but is not irritated, and has helped so much with regulating oil production and reducing the quantities of product I use. It retails for about $35-40 a bottle, but a little goes a very long way. I have barely dented mine after using it every night for the past 1.5 weeks and already plan on repurchasing it when I am almost out. The last skincare product that drastically changed my skin was sunscreen, before I discovered this incredible product. Thank you so much BH for allowing me to trial this gem!

This is one of my absolute favourite products I got to trial. Housed in an amber glass dropper bottle to protect from light, once you open the bottle you are greeted with an absolutely delicious fresh citrus scent. Intriguingly the product is a white, viscous consistency which spreads really nicely. It takes about 1-2 minutes to sink in and then feels like nothing. I have been using this product religiously in the AM and PM since I received this and my skin is looking brighter, more even and less dull especially around my nose and eye area. I usually dispense about 1.5 drops, warm them up between my hands and then pat onto my face and décolletage as the last step in my skincare before moisturiser. The thick consistency doesn't feel heavy on the skin and surprisingly works really well in makeup adherence. For a vitamin C product, it felt really gentle and there was no stinging or irritation sensation either. Then there's also something about the scent which is so energising in the mornings, especially during winter. Overall I've really enjoyed using this product and it has become a staple in my skincare routine. I will continue to keep repurchasing it as it is a very cheap and effective vitamin C serum which I had no idea I even needed.

Ok so this is another product that I didn't think I needed. I have very thin, fine hair that loves to fall out every chance it gets. My hair is coloured so I frequently use purple shampoo to tone it which only encourages further hair loss (yay). When I received this product, I actually had no expectations for this at all. But being a diligent trialler, I used it and was very pleasantly surprised to find out that, well, it works. I wash my hair every 2-3 days depending on how gross it gets, so I'll always spray post-shower and give it a nice comb through + massage my scalp to ensure it sinks in properly. My hair looks a bit shinier, I don't notice any difference in thickness but I know that nothing will save it and I have accepted it. However, I am genuinely surprised and so impressed that my hair retention has improved. I usually do a purple shampoo wash every 2nd or 3rd wash and generally lose heaps of hair - it can form a ball on really bad days. After I started using this product, I have had a huge reduction in the amount of hair lost (no clumps!) from my purple shampoo days and in general from daily hair brushing. I have no idea how, or why this magic is happening but the only thing that has changed in my hair routine is this so I've decided I'm going to keep it up because I like keeping my hair. The spray itself smells nice and refreshing (I'm not sure how to describe the scent, sorry!) and I really like the precision nozzle which lets me really focus it on my hair roots. Basically this has become a staple in my hair routine and not having to constantly clean the shower drain with my hair has been an incredible bonus.

I think this product is fantastic to travel with since it comes in a convenient squeeze tube packaging. However for daily use considering it is a 30 mL size, I don't see this lasting very long. Consistency wise, I really enjoyed it. The product feels like a hybrid of cream/gel and although it feels like a thick cream, sinks in quite quickly and leaves no greasy feeling. There's a bit of a strong afterscent which lingers for about 1-2 minutes after applying and it smells a bit like lavendar and fresh cactus, which may be polarising to some people. I also found that I needed to use a fair amount of product to sufficiently moisturise my face. This moisturiser sits very well under make up and sunscreen and did a great job of keeping my skin hydrated, without feeling oily. My face felt comfortable throughout the day and didn't feel any oiler. It might seem a bit weird that I've rated it as 4 stars, because for the product itself I think it's fantastic. However for ~$28 for $30 mL, it doesn't last long. I've been trialling this product for about 1.5 weeks and my tube is feeling a bit light, so I don't see this lasting for more than a month with daily use, so the costs quickly add up hence I have chosen not to recommend it purely on cost as it is quite rare that I would finish a product so quickly.

This is a great no frills moisturiser for those with sensitive skin. I use this every day after my shower and have had no issues with it. A little goes a very long way, I only need two pumps for my entire body. It spreads really easily, absorbs almost immediately, has no lingering smell and I can get dressed straight away. I break out in hives quite frequently so my skin is easily irritated, however this product does not aggravate my skin at all. The pump is convenient and easy to gauge how much product I am using and I've even starting using this as hand moisturiser to help relieve my super dry hands from constantly washing and sanitising them due to my work occupation. I'm super picky with hand creams because I hate the greasy/lingering feeling that most leave behind, which is why I've switched to this product as my go-to. The dermeze range is also frequently on sale at Chemist Warehouse so I'm definitely stocking up on this as I can see this as a cheaper alternative to Cerave for very similar product benefits.

My favourite thing about this gloss is the smell. It's a nice fruity and refreshing scent with a hint of berries. The gloss comes in a typical transparent squeeze tube with slanted applicator for easy application on the go, especially without a mirror. Pigment wise, there was a bit but it was barely noticeable so this gloss should mainly be purchased for moisturising and gloss properties instead. The gloss itself is a very thick consistency, but not gooey. A tiny amount is needed which imparts a nice subtle shine without feeling heavy, greasy or being overly shiny. I found that the moisturising properties were really good and that I could skip my usual balm at night and just use this without having to deal with cracked lips even in the middle of winter here in Melbourne. Good news is, hair does NOT get stuck with this gloss applied and it doesn't have a funny taste if you accidentally lick it. I'm not usually a gloss person, but honestly I'm quite happy to repurchase this for the multiuse it has e.g. overnight balm and day gloss.

Oh my God, I had no idea I needed this. A heel balm with exfoliating lactic and malic acids that also nourishes and moisturises your heels. My feet are generally pretty good, except my pesky big toe that I can't seem to slough off the callouses there from. That is until I trialled this product. I carefully read the instructions and didn't have much hope that this would fix my problem, but 1.5 weeks later she's softened up and sloughing off and I can't believe it was as simple as applying it twice a day. As weird as it is, I've also got callouses on my hand and I gave it a shot by using a q-tip to apply on problem areas. They have now disappeared and my hands are feeling nice and soft again. I'm surprised by how moisturising the formula is considering that it isn't as thick as the Eulactol heel balm and isn't even remotely greasy. The formula absorbs within 1-2 minutes and you're good to go. You only need a small amount, so the small tube will easily last at least 3 months making it a very cost effective product. Basically, I'm going to keep repurchasing this for, well, forever.

I actually had low expectations for this setting spray since I normally use Urban Decay and Tarte ones instead. This comes in a small plastic pump bottle that produces a really nice, fine mist. My biggest complaint with the Urban Decay one is that the entire face feels wet and sticky since it's just a giant spray to the face. In contrast, the Nude by Nature one is a really gentle mist that is cooling on the face, doesn't leave a noticeable sheen and dries almost immediately. There is no tight sensation and everything looks the same before the spray (which is good for me). My favourite use for this is the late arvo touch up when you're a bit greasy, but powder over the top looks cakey. Just top up the powder and use a quick mist of the spray and she's all good for the rest of the evening. I also like using this spray to wet my eyeshadow to use as eyeliner for long wearing results - it's gentle on my eyes and doesn't sting and I no longer deal with frustrating fall out or smudging when I pair it with an eyeshadow primer. Overall this is a fantastic multi-use product and I'm very glad to have tried this product since it will now replace my other sprays when I finally finish them :)
