The Longer Stronger Exfoliating Scalp Rinse by Grow is, unfortunately, not a favorite of mine. While I was excited to try a product designed to exfoliate and refresh the scalp, my experience with it fell short. One of the main issues was with the applicator. When pressing the product onto my scalp, I found that hardly any of it would dispense, which made the process frustrating. Additionally, the silicone teeth on the applicator were far too hard and felt uncomfortable on my scalp. Eventually, I resorted to squeezing the product into my hand and applying it with my fingertips, which felt much gentler and more effective. While my hair did feel noticeably cleaner after use, the application process was cumbersome enough to overshadow the results. It’s possible I received a faulty tube, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t choose to purchase it.

I’ve been searching for a great hyaluronic acid face serum for quite some time but hadn’t found one that truly stood out—until now. While the smell dissipates quickly after application, I’ve caught myself holding my breath during use. Despite this, I’m still torn because I love how well the serum performs in every other aspect. Whether the scent is a deal-breaker is something I’m still deciding, but overall, it’s a product that delivers on its promises and may just require a bit of compromise.

I used this for a very short time as part of this trial however I’ve been happy with the results. I tend to have quite sensitive skin so I started using 3 days a week with no side effects, I didn’t even get the tingling that is pretty normal for retinol products so I was impressed by that. Not wanting to tempt fate I kept to the 3 times and found my skin feeling soft and smooth and absolutely glowing the next morning. The packaging is simple and sleek, a handy pump bottle that is easy to dose and a silky smooth formulation that glides over skin leaving it feeling hydrated and smooth. In all I’m happy with this product and I’d consider buying it again.

If you’re after a serum that delivers on its promises of hydrated, soft, smooth skin, this is for you. These come in a neat little tube filled with individual biodegradable capsules so you always get the right dose and no contamination. A single capsule easily covers my face, neck and décolletage. The serum feels silky, smooth and leaves a soft velvet sheen on the skin. Having sensitive rosacea skin, I do need to be careful with what I use but this serum has no smell or colour and may even have settled my rosacea as it is currently looking very good - even acknowledged by my dermatologist how settled it is. It is also preservative free so your skin can just absorb what it needs. My skin is currently glowing, hydrated and smooth, my other products spread very easily over this serum which has allowed me to use less of them. Honestly I’ve always loved Elizabeth Arden Ceramide but these advanced light capsules are a skincare marvel. I would use these again and again and recommend them to anyone who is after a top quality, results driven anti-aging serum.

Having not heard of this type of product or treatment before I was keen to try it out. My long hair is a bit dry and quite prone to throwing super brassy colours even when I colour it. Think yellow like the sun or orange like well … an orange. It’s frustrating and I don’t like the look. No matter what purple or blue shampoo and conditioner I use it just turns to brass. Enter metal detox. So this product is said to reduce the effects of excess metals in our water etc which affect our hair and its colour! I have to say the information i found was not super clear to me, it almost sounds a little flimsy, maybe because I’m new to this type of product? Anyway, as luck would have it, I had coloured my hair (at home this time) 4 days before this arrived. So the second I unwrapped it I got to work. The bottle is not overly large, small and squat with a black pump that you can lock and unlock with each use. The product is a beige shimmery type serum with a relatively thick texture and quite a strong, warm pleasant odour profile. It makes my hair feel hydrated and super soft. I’m not sure if it is meant to but it does which is great considering my dry ends. So does it extend colour, make hair look healthier you ask. Yes, it does. 4 weeks after colour and I have not had to even think about reaching for the purple shampoo. My colour is similar to when it was first done. I kid you not. Not a warm strand to be found! I swear this little product that I had my reservations about is a coloured hair game changer. A big call you say, well I stand by it. From roots to ends my hair colour looks fresh and I’m a little gobsmacked. Never had I ever thought about what the metals in our water are doing to my hair and its colour. My health in terms of ingestion yes, but never my hair and now, well L’Oreal have just solved my sunshine hair dilemma. Without word of a lie, I think this will extend my colour life by at least 2weeks minimum. There is an entire range of metal detox products available and at some point I might try the shampoo and conditioner out but for now, I am very grateful to have been able to trial this. I will buy it again and again.
