Everyone wants longer lashes, and I am always keen to try different formulas (whether pre-packaged or natural alternatives) to see what actually delivers results. The only issue with these products is that progress can be a lot more subtle and require you to pay close attention to the changing condition of your lashes. I wish I had taken a before photo but I can genuinely say that I have had less lashes falling out (I use waterproof mascara and a lash curler so they get beaten up pretty well). I did not notice anything in relation to the darkening of my lashes though. This was a very easy product to integrate with my night routine. I would remove my contact lenses, apply all my face products and eye cream and then end with this. As a contacts wearer with sensitive eyes, I was surprised that this lash serum does not sting at all despite being applied close to the lash line and being quite thin in consistency. If you are worried about sensitivity then rest assured that I had no issues at all. For me, the strongest points of this product are its applicator and the fact that it strengthened my lashes. I have naturally very straight lashes so it is difficult for me to assess whether they affected length. I am sure with continued use over a few months I will see more of a difference in length as opposed to just strength.

I have probably used about 6 different brands of dry shampoos, always opting for whatever is on sale. I've never been really into trying the higher end brands, as I would rather just wash my hair than fork out $20+ on dry shampoo! But this one is definitely the best I have used. It genuinely leaves my hair looking and feeling non-greasy (I admit that there have been times when I haven't washed my hair for more than a good few days...). I have super long hair so it is just not feasible for me to wash it after 5pm as it would take too long to try. This product is a godsend because I genuinely feel like the anti-grease effect lasts the entire day, and not just until midday like many other dry shampoos. I can confidently leave the house and go to a meeting/see other people when wearing this and not have to worry about looking a tad greasy at all. The scent is quite similar to other dry shampoos (it just smells 'powdery') but is by no means noticeable throughout the day. I have a very sensitive nose and could smell it on myself and was worried that it smelled 'dry shampoo-ey' but my friends assure me they cannot smell it. My only minor gripe is that I dislike the packaging - it's such a gaudy lime green and hot pink which sticks out like a sore thumb on my vanity. Something sleeker would be more appealing I think! For such a reasonable price, I will definitely be repurchasing it and would recommend to everyone to at least try and see if it suits your hair type!

I'll be honest, I'm partial to French skincare. You can generally expect that the ingredients are going to be of a higher quality, and that there will be less nasties to block your pores and break you out. This product is no different, and is an absolute saviour for oily skin. I am super fair, and sunscreen is a must for me no matter where I'm going or what time of year it is. I had previously been using another La Roche-Posay sunscreen which I had purchased overseas, but it was slightly different in texture to this one.
This requires you to shake vigorously before applying, and the viscosity is very runny, which makes for a super light-weight formula that absorbs into the skin almost immediately. It is undetectable once on for about 30 seconds, and leaves a demi-matte finish which I think is great for someone who can have an oil-slick on their face within a couple of hours! I was most skeptical about its makeup-wearing claims. Usually my foundation 'congeals' around my nose at around lunch time because the oils in the sunscreen would break down the product. With this, the formula is so smoothing that my foundation (Everyday minerals powder foundation) wears flawlessly, doesn't rub off, remains intact until I remove it! This is truly the BEST sun protection I have used, as it honestly seems just like a moisturiser or a primer. No oiliness, stickiness. Nada. Just a perfectly smooth and seamless base for you to place anything over the top. Will definitely purchase again.

Pros; This product effectively eliminated body odour which is a definite must for any deodorant! The scent is so pleasant, and I think that if you do not sweat very much, then this might be more up your alley since it does still provide freshness and that clean feeling. Cons The major drawback of this product is the consistency. After using a cream-based anti-perspirant for many years, this gel seemed runny and was difficult to dry. The dispenser is not completely effective and a large amount will run out at once!! I applied this after showering, so I suppose that my body moisture also prevents it from drying completely - it remains tacky which is bothersome when putting on clothes on top. I think this would also prevent the product from working 100% effectively since it is not absorbed into the pores.

I have always been intrigued by these self-heating mask so was delighted to try out this one. Each individual sachet comes with a perfect amount of product so none is wasted, yet still spreads evenly over the face. the first 10 seconds has that lovely warm feeling on the skin and is so incredibly relaxing. Unfortunately, this subsides after 30 seconds and you're left with the plain mask on your face. Due to this short-lived enjoyment, I took off one star because I really do love winding down for 15-30 minutes with a face mask rather than applying one over my face and promptly having to wash it off after! Yet this is what makes the mask ideal for events and if youre in a rush and want your skin to be left glowing and smooth. Unlike a clay mask, it is also an absolute breeze to remove with a warm wash cloth! Your face is left tingling (in a good way!) and utterly refreshed, which is ironic due to the heat! I would use this twice a week or anytime my skin looked dull and needed a pick me up! Whilst I do think the heating is a bit of a novelty, I think it is relaxing and a great way to pamper yourself if youre in a rush. Would definitely repurchase.

After drawing a close to my Roaccutane treatment (a medication for the treatment of acne), I am now constantly on the hunt for a cleanser that is both gentle enough to not irritate my skin, deep enough to remove the oil off my t-zone, yet moisturising enough for my cheeks and chin which have a tendency to become dry and flakey. Seems impossible? Well I think I have it with this one! Tired of my previous Cetaphil which, although amazing at cleaning was becoming too bland, I loved switching over to this! The packaging is fantastic - housed in a tall pump bottle, it is convenient and hygienic to dispense. The colour of the product is a milky charcoal with some occasional pieces of what I assume to be some fine charcoal scrub (although it isnt abrasive aat all). The scent is amazing - fresh but sophisticated. With water added, it builds into a reasonable milky lather and spreads over skin with ease. My face is left glowing, bright and even! Some a bargain price too. I have also used it to clean stubborn makeup stains off brushes and my makeup sponges - simply wet the tool, soak in the cleanser for 10 minutes and the marks lift easily! 10/10 biore, will definitely repurchase.

The concept of these is similar to papier mache - you wet your nose and apply the strip, wait for it to dry and hopefully any impurities on the surface of your pores will be lifted away! I've tried these strips multiple times in the past, and never seem to be able to see any results unfortunately. It could be that the pores in my nose never get that dirty to see anything visible on the strip, but I feel like peeling away the strip is a little painful and irritating to my skin. Whilst I do enjoy the classic 'movie' feel of using these to pamper yourself, I do not think they work for me, or someone who has relatively little blackheads. I would advise steaming your face beforehand so that your pores have a chance to open up and the strips can really suck out any nasties! Just not ideal for me unfortunately but it is clear that this is a cult classic that is perfect for others.

Skin background information: I am almost finished a course of an acne medication called Roaccutane. For the most part, my skin texture is smooth but I have been left with extremely red (albeit temporary) spots all over my face which can tend to look like I have a terrible rash! My skin type is a somewhat oily t-zone with occasional dry patches. I have tried all the past Rimmel Lasting Finish formulas and have loved them all. The previous one was my holy grail drugstore foundation as it had a great texture (not too thick or thin), and excellent coverage to give me an almost flawless finish. The newer and improved formula also did not disappoint. It also has an excellent feel upon application, almost like a gel going on very smooth and almost tacky. It does not dry down to a matte finish which I like as I do not like the look of powder as I have a lot of peach fuzz on my face. Having said that, I do use a translucent powder over the top especially on the t-zone. The longevity of this foundation is fantastic and I am not shiny at all coming home at the end of the day. What I love most about it is that because it does not set entirely dry to the touch, you can layer the coverage. I would describe it as medium-almost full. A touch of concealer and my stubborn red marks are almost entirely disguised! No matter what foundation I use, it always settles into my smile lines, but this did not do so as bad as other more slippery products such as some BB-creams on the market. My favourite way to apply it is with the real techniques miracle sponge as it blends seamlessly into the skin with no brush marks. I find that the finish really does mimic natural skin, although because of the gel/slightly thicker texture, the foundation is still noticeable on the face. The packaging deserves an A+ - a definite upgrade from the past plastic squeeze tube! It now comes housed in a tall glass bottle with a red pump (hygienic and functional!) Whilst some may find the glass a hazard if you have a tendency to drop things, I find that it feels a touch more expensive. Cannot fault the price of this foundation either and I can see myself repurchasing it. With a subtle scent and a more extensive shade range, I really think that Rimmel keeps producing the goods with this line of foundation! It is moisturising, yet keeps oil at bay. What more could a girl want?!

The Schick Hydro Silk Razor is probably one of the best I have tried. To give you a run down of my skin type, after using other razors I generally always suffer from red spots on the skin even with the use of shaving cream. I have found that this can be minimised with the use of a men's razor to get a closer shave but this razor does a great job! It has 5 blades and a swivel head which make navigating difficult areas like the knees and ankles an absolute breeze. It goes really close to the skin in comparison to my old razor which I felt regrowth the next morning, whereas the Schick grows back two days later. Not much of a difference but still a better choice. My favourite part about this razor is the fact that it has moisturising bars at the top and bottom making for a really smooth shave that doesn't tug at the skin at all but instead leaves skin feeling moisturised. I would still recommend using a body moisturiser after though if you have particularly dry skin as it isn't really sufficient moisture – rather more of a lubricant to provide a cleaner shave. I prefer using it on my legs rather than my underarms because it gives a really lovely smooth finish. The price point is also not too over the top and I think the shower attachment is a nice touch – just make sure to stick it on glass as it won't attach on to the tiles in my experience! Would I repurchase? Yes I would as I believe this is definitely one of the better women's razors out there.

The Clinique Chubby Sticks have been on the market for years and I can understand why they just keep coming out with fantastic colours. What I love about these is that unlike other tinted balms, these are actually moisturising even after hours of wear, leaving your skin with a subtle tint that lingers throughout the day leaving you with supple and kissable lips. My favourite shades are Super Strawberry and Mega Melon, two of the original shades released. Whilst pigmentation is very subtle, you still get a really lovely wash of colour that is one step down in shine-levels in comparison to a lip gloss. Best of all, these aren't sticky at all so you won't have pesky hair caught in your mouth! These glide on to lips like butter and have a scent without irritating my lips – it just makes them look full, plump and healthy without looking fake. Conveniently, these have a twist up barrel that enables you to travel with these without pesky sharpeners! I find that these also last quite a while too, and they are great if you don't like the feeling of lipsticks but still want some colour. Best of all, you don't need a mirror for application as they glide on with ease and you won't have any harsh tell-tale lines due to a richly pigmented colour making them super convenient for travel. I personally love them for plane flights for this reason, just be careful of leaving these in a hot car like I have as you will find the soft texture has a tendency to melt! Definitely one of Clinique's most famous products and for good reason! A must-try and you can often score a mini version of these in GWP's which are great to try out, I'm sure you will want to run out and buy a full size straight away!
