Essence promises a long lasting formula with light-reflecting pigments that diminish the look of dark circles while creating a flawless look under eyes. Sadly, the lack of shades will prove a deal breaker for many. However, if you do fit into their color selection you might just want to pick this up but only a select few will be able to get completely on board with it. The formula is thick and creamy however, it applies VERY dry which results in aging my eyes rather than concealing anything. Pigmentation is sheerer but will easily conceal smaller issues like puffiness, fine lines, and tiredness. The real issue with the formula is how dry it is. It emphasizes finer lines rather badly due to that dryness and is definitely not a friendly concealer for the aging lady or those with drier eyes. The good news is it should do well for those with oily eyes and lids as it could prove quite mattifying and easier to apply. I wouldn't say you need to run out and grab it if you have such an oily eye type but if you want to purchase one and see if it works for you. Personally, I don't feel comfortable recommending it to anyone with dry eyes or those who really depend on their concealer for solid coverage that gives them a fresher more wide awake look. Sadly, this one is lacking. Essence offers some great budget beauty options but their concealer is not one. The good news? It works great as a lid primer! Improvise people improvise! It actually preps well for eyeshadow and creates a nice flawless base for them! And heck even allows them to remain crease free for a good several hours.

Of all places, I first heard about this mascara whilst watching 90210. It was a scene between Naomi and Annie and I noticed the 'clever' product placement technique. Cheeky! Nevertheless, the mascara caught my attention and I grabbed one from my local Boots a couple of days ago. The USP (unique selling point) of this mascara is its quirky brush with a round bristly end. According to Rimmel, the flat brush volumises the lashes and the round brush at the end lifts and defines. When put to the test, this mascara did not disappoint! The application process was stress free; no clump, no mess, no fuss! My first reaction was, 'WOW'; the brush does exactly what it claims to do. After one coat, I was pretty happy with the result, but I applied a second coat just to make sure I wouldn't be left with clumps. My lashes have never looked so long, fluttery and volumised without looking fake, which is exactly the look I go for on most days. So, I'm happy to report I have found my new favourite mascara. Thanks to Naomi from 90210, Rimmel Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara has officially replaced my old favourite Maybelline The Falsies Mascara! Oh and they both have purple packaging :) Now Rimmel needs to hurry up and make a waterproof version of the Scandal Eyes mascara!

I had to get some more and I did during the Beautorium Now I want to talk about it some more... The Ardell Duralash Starter kit comes with the lashes, The glue/adhesive, the remover/solvent and the little tweezer tool. The glue is gel like so it grabs onto the lashes easily and doesnt drip. In some places it stung a little but only lasted a few seconds. The process is rather fiddly and does take a while to do but I think the results are worth it. I give myself a good TWO HOURS and plus allow time for the glue to dry before washing your face or doing anything with your eyes. When you have had enough of your lashes or if some fall out and you want them all off there is a lash remover made by Ardell but you can also use an oil based eye make up remover. According to Ardell they should last around 4-5 weeks but this really depends on how you treat them. You have to make sure they make minimal contact with water and avoid any non oil free beauty products oh and the obvious one of not rubbing your eyes which wont be easy for me! I will probably remove them in a few days time! Would I use them again: YES! But id probably buy a pack with just the medium ones and go for a volume look as I think that would look better on me :) The long ones are a bit too dramatic for the look I was going for :) So if you have no patience then I DO NOT RECOMMEND these for you and you should stick to STRIP LASHES

I got this from the Beautorium and like most Ardell products they haven't disappointed. ARDELLE LASH GRIP Dries clear Packaging: Squeeze tube with pointed tip Texture: Creamy and easy to apply Drying time: Quick (around 30 seconds) Lasting power: Good Ease of removal: Easy Scent: smells a bit fishy My thoughts: I'd say this is a good everyday glue and great for beginners who aren't that comfortable working with falsies and glue yet. The thick consistency of the products makes it easier to apply to the lash bone while the quick drying time means you can get this one your eye faster (and back to other things). Once set it's definitely not as long lasting as the DUO glue but for daily wear it's easy to use and easy to remove. I must also note that this does smell a little funny...rather stinky in fact though it doesn't linger. Glue overall: I'd say go for the Lash Grip if your lash needs aren't complicated and you are just looking for something that's easy to use and wears well for day to day occasions. The Lash Grip is a decent adhesive as it dries faster and isn't such a pain to remove. I like squeezing the glue straight onto the lash bone and the thicker consistency of Lash Grip also make application easier (no goopy messes here). Applicator Its a thin piece of plastic which I found absolutely useless. I didn't bother and just used tweezers and they worked fine. THE LASHES I love them they are gorgeous! These are my FAVORITE american brand natural lashes. They're flirty but subtle ^_^ I LOVE how they look on my eyes. It's very easy to apply and you can re-use them too. You can clean them very easily and they are extremely comfortable and don't feel heavy on the eyes. These also have a CLEAR band which is nice if you're not a fan of heavy liner- but I still suggest wearing at least a little to make it blend more seamlessly into your own natural lashes.

I loved the colour match for my skin, I usually find that with Rimmel their foundation colours aren't yellow enough in tone but this was perfect for me and it didn't oxidise and remained the same colour throughout the day I loved the consistency of the foundation I loved the smell I loved the packaging, the pump made it easy to use and allowed you to control the amount and the glass bottle made it feel more expensive and it was small making it easy to travel with I loved how it lasted all day I loved the coverage it gave, was enough to even my skin tone I HATE the glitter, it isn't too obvious but I don't like that there is glitter, its not chunks of glitter but it is there and I feel like Edward (I'm sorry I hate Twilight for a lot of reasons and I definitely don't want to be Edward) when I am in the sun You don't really notice it in dim areas but under the right light I feel like I come off like a weird disco ball and it would not recommend for this people with oily skin as it can look a bit greasy I just have one request for rimmel.. REMOVE THE GLITTER! Then I would buy this product again however the concealer in this range is awesome :)

I bought this product to use as a contour powder. The powder itself is matte, which is what I wanted and it is hard to find matte bronzer. I tested it extensively as I was afraid there would be some shimmer as it looked like there might be some in the package but there was no trace of shimmer at all. This truly is a matte powder (yay!) The problem with this is that the product is so poorly pigmented that I had to really pile it on before I could see it at all. I bought Medium matte and it didn't work for me. Pros: - No sparkle/shimmer Cons: - very little pigmentation - powder itself isn't the best quality - doesn't last very long (fades within 2 hours). Ultimately I would not repurchase. I am disappointed because I really wanted to like this product. Unfortunately, this is a mediocre product at best. I had to pile it on to see anything at all and then after all that hard work it doesn't last at all. Fading begins in about 1 hour. I believe there are better bronzers out there and I will continue my search.

I've never used false eyelashes until recently, i purchased this for the strip lash, which i could not get on with, so, i decided to buy the individual lashes and see how i got on, i used this glue, despite that it says its for strip lashes, this glue worked amazing, it does not burn, like some of the other glue reviews i've seen, it is a clear formula and stays that way, does not get thick and clumpy and it holds my individual lashes on all day, i take them off at night, as i don't wish to sleep with false lashes!! So, i cannot say if they would stay on for any length of time. I'm not going to go out and buy any other glue that states it for individual lashes as i'm more that happy with this, I am able to pull my lashes off at the end of the day with NO problems what so ever! Best purchase!

I really wanted to get extensions, but can't really justify the cost. I wish I had tried these sooner! They look great and are so easy to apply. I've had the lashes on my left eye for about 10 days now and none have fallen off. My right eye, I must be doing something different, because I've replaced a few of them, but no big deal. Once I got the hang of application, its pretty quick and easy. I love not having to deal with mascara, and it makes my make-up routine a lot quicker since my lashes are ready to go.

I love buying new pink lipsticks in the spring and had read good things about these new Maybelline High Shine shades, so I thought I'd try one out. Disco Pink: it's a light pink that is good for cool skin tones. The only downside is that it does have a bit of a sparkly sheen to it, so I'm not sure if it's professional enough for me to wear to work. It's a fun, playful color, though, for date night or the weekends, and it has nice pigmentation. I'll definitely be trying out other colors!

I use these 109's when going for a bolder, more noticeable look, and #110 when I want a more natural approach. Ardell lashes were the first I have ever tried and there is no reason for me to ever try a different brand. With gentle care (follow the instructions) I have used and abused mine over and over before needing a new pair. I also wear contact lenses and never had a problem with them. They give my eyes that extra-sexy OOMPH!
