Jurlique packaging never ceases to amaze me. This moisturising lotion comes in a dark, blush pink pump bottle which comes with a handy lid for easy transport. From the box to the packaging of the product itself, everything feels luxurious. I used this product with the Rare Rose Serum which I believe boosted the results of the hydration. Using two pumps of the product sufficiently covered my face, and I used a gently patting motion to ensure it absorbed well into my skin. The lotion is a light pink shade, and an easy consistency to spread across the fact. It also has a light rose scent, not as strong as the serum though. After the first use of this product, my skin definitely felt hydrated and plumped. I’ve been using this everyday, twice a day, for the past three weeks paired with the serum and my skin is absolutely glowing. I’ve received many compliments so whilst the product is expensive - I would say it’s worth the investment!

For me, Jurlique has always been a brand that oozes elegance and this product was no exception. The serum comes in the standard shape pump bottle of all Jurlique products come in. The bottle came with a handy lid for travelling, and came in a gorgeous dark, blush pink. The recommended use is 1-2 pumps of the serum, so I started with just one pump to maximise longevity of the product. This seemed enough for me, especially when paired with the the Rare Rose Moisturiser. I absolutely loved the rose scent (turkish delight anyone?!) however it can be quite strong - I didn’t mind. The texture of the serum is gel-like, and applied easily only the face using sweeping motions. It also felt sticky after applying but I actually think this helped to absorb the moisturiser better. The gel serum contains rose extract and dwarf lilyturf root extract to protect and strengthen the skin’s natural lipid barrier. It also contains hyaluronic acid which every beauty knows is the key to great hydration. After the first use of this product, my skin definitely felt hydrated and plumped. I’ve been using this everyday, twice a day, for the past three weeks paired with the moisturiser and my skin is absolutely glowing. I’ve received many compliments so whilst the product is expensive - I would say it’s worth the investment!

I simply love this starter kit - it has everything you need to get a taste of the entire Nude by Nature range. It contains Perfecting Primer, Perfecting Concealer, Radiant Loose Powder Foundation, Natural Glow Loose Bronzer, and Translucent Loose Finishing Powder. It comes in three different shades, and based on my skin tone I picked Medium which was a perfect fit. In summer, I find that my skin is super oily so I usually use powder-based products and this came at the perfect time in the transition to winter. My favourite products were the concealer, primer and the loose powder foundation. Not only do you get to try five different products, you also receive a travel brush (which is SO soft!) and a gorgeous black makeup bag which is the perfect size for travelling. Speaking of, the size of these products is perfect for travel. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to test the NBN range without committing to buying full-size items.

I received this item with the Nude by Nature Creamy Matte Lipstick in the shade Blush Nude. The colour is extremely pigmented, creamy and aren’t drying on the lips. This lip pencil is enriched with 100% natural ingredients including macadamia oil, meadowfoam seed oil, and mango seed oil. The colours are just as pigmented as the lipsticks and match perfectly. It is the type of lipliner that comes in a pencil form which requires a sharpener, and good care. Lastly, what I love about the design is it is capped with a rose gold lid, which matches the lipstick. A perfect duo!

I'm a big fan of lipsticks so when I received the invitation to trial this I jumped at the chance. I've been looking for a shade that is close to my lip colour but just a shade darker and not too pink. Based on the website swatch, I picked was Blush Nude as it appeared the closest to what I was after. The product comes in a gold tube which received lots of 'oohs' and 'aahs' when I opened it at work - it definitely adds a touch of elegance. With the Defining Lip Pencil in the same shade, this was a match made in heaven. The colour was extremely pigmented, creamy and easy to apply, however I found the colour a bit too brown for my skintone. It is less pink than most nudes, and surprising given the 'blush' in the name of the shade. The reason I gave four stars was because of the scent of the lipstick. It smells and tastes a bit like talcum powder and it was my only downfall about this product. I don't believe the product claims to be long-lasting and it definitely wasn't. It barely lasted me until lunch (admittedly I snack a lot) but it definitely has good pigmentation.

When I first received the invitation to this product, I was really intrigued how a body wash would go with a clay base. Naturally, clay is usually meant to be left on the skin to draw out impurities so I wasn't sure how a wash would go. The consistency is similar to a watery clay mask, it lathered relatively well but you could definitely tell clay was present. I used approximately 2x 20c size amounts and it would sufficiently wash my entire body. My favourite thing about this product was the scent though! I picked basil and ginger, and it was such a refreshing body wash. I also did a bit of research on the product and it states it is 'pH skin-balanced' and 'Skin compatibility dermatogically approved' - and my usually sensitive skin agreed. After stepping out of the shower, my skin felt moisturised and the next morning my skin felt soft. I like this body wash but I only wish it came in a pump bottle - more my laziness of not wishing to open a lid - but with the consistency of the product it's understandable. Would highly recommend it for people as it's a very affordable product found at supermarkets!

Recently, I developed adult eczema and have dealt with dry, flakey skin on my legs. Every single wash seemed to aggravate my eczema, even if it claimed to be dermatologist recommended. When I received the trial for this, I was pretty excited as I saw a little bit of hope for my legs. The consistency of this wash is quite watery, which I found really difficult to apply while the shower is on (it just runs down my legs straight down the drain). So I started applying it like a body conditioner. I pour a handful, and rub all over my legs, then I hop in the shower and wash the excess off. It kept my legs clean, but also moisturised. Four stars because I had to change how I used the product. I found that this technique worked wonders and kept my legs from getting too itchy through the night. Paired with the DermaVeen Extra Gentle Intensive Moisturising Cream, it was a great solution for my adult eczema.

When I received the invitation to this trial, I don't think I've ever clicked 'ACCEPT' any faster. Lipsticks are my jam. The product comes in a thick squarish tube that shows off the colour of the lipstick inside. I got the colour Voyage which is a very dark burgundy, with beautiful blue/red undertones. When you open the tube, you're met with an arrow shaped applicator - meaning that it's wide in the middle, and very pointy at the end. I found this to be the most effective long-lasting lipstick applicator. The colour is extremely pigmented and would suit anyone who can wear lipsticks with blue undertones. The colour was stunning and true to the swatch online. My only gripe with the product was that I found it to be a bit sticky. I had to apply the product almost 3 times because my lips would touch so I would have to reapply in spots. Basically, you need to keep your lips separated so that the colour isn't pressed into the opposite lip. After the first application in the morning, I didn't need to do any touch-ups throughout the day. I even had a spaghetti with olive oil, chilli and garlic - and my lipstick didn't budge a bit. I'll definitely be purchasing this in a few other colours!

As a teenager with acne scars, sunscreen was recommended to me by a million beauty articles and I've never really turned back. So with all my years of sunscreen experience, I've never found one that did it all -- until today! The La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Ultra Light SPF50+ sunscreen exceeded my expectations in all manners. The product is actually quite runny when you squeeze it out of the tube, but once you start applying it to your face, it has the same thick sunscreen texture. For my whole face, I used an amount similar to the size of my pinky fingernail. When I saw the size of the tube, I thought the price point was quite high for the product ($28.99 for 50ml). Do not be dissuaded by this! It will easily last you a good 6 months The product itself absorbs quickly into skin and provides excellent protection against the daily sun. My skin tans very easily, so if I'm in the sun for too long, it's very obvious. With this product, I didn't have any issues with skin tone and that's a win given how much sunshine has been happening in Qld the past two weeks! Lastly, the great thing about this product is the fact I didn't have any reactions to the product. Sunscreens can be quite tricky with sensitive skin, but I didn't break out nor did my skin dry out or become oily. In my opinion, the Anthelios XL Ultra Light SPF50+ is worth every cent.

I've been using papaw ointment since forever, it's the only thing that keeps my lips hydrated but I totally hate the smell/taste/texture. I don't need to worry about that at all with my new found love - Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm. I received this in my Beautorium package and I am so thankful to bh for letting me trial this! Let's start off with the colour - Hibiscus. It's the perfect shade of pink and suits my skin tone to a tee. It is quite sheer so you don't need to worry about lining your lips or doing anything besides putting it on like a normal lip balm. The hydrating factor is what really won me over. As I said before, papaw ointment is the only thing that's worked for me in the past, but this is my new favourite! It kept my lips hydrated, although I re-applied it about three times throughout the day I would highly recommend this to anyone - it's the perfect shade, not too pink and for me it's the perfect pinky nude. Hydrating as hell. Wins all round in my books!
