My dry, sensitive and eczema prone skin just loves this gentle soap-free wash from Dermaveen. After suffering with itchy, very dry skin and patches of eczema on my hands, arms and legs I was recommended this product range by my dermatologist. I initially used it in the shower with a soft cloth for my body but quickly realised that it can be used all over. It works well as a face wash, however, I prefer the specific Dermaveen facial cleanser as it is better at removing makeup as well. If you don't wear much makeup it would be the perfect one stop product for you. The best part of using this product range is that they are hypoallergenic and contain no nasties like SLS, SLES and parabens that can irritate sensitive skin. It has a natural ingredient called colloidal oatmeal that is supposed to soothe the skin and I find that my skin always feels comforted and never stripped or dry with continued use. I have now replaced all the liquid soap pumps in in my home with Dermaveen and my hands are beautifully soft, smooth and hydrated. I have the matching moisturising lotion on my bathroom sink and find they work well together to lock in moisture and protect my skin. I highly recommend this product in the 1L pump pack size for an affordable and family friendly product for sensitive skin.

I am seriously obsessed with this delectable new palette from Maybelline. With a complimentary blend of browns, pinks and neutrals it provides rich pigmented shades that blend and contour with ease. As a brunette with brown eyes I often wear gem toned eyeshadow (eg purple and blue) for nights out. For everyday makeup to work though I prefer something more conservative and natural. As soon as I opened my Trial Team package I fell in love with the palette and experimented with many of the colours. My favourite combination is using a creamy neutral shade over my entire eyelid, then a chocolate shade to blend into the crease. I finished the look with the darker chocolate shade on the outer edges and the result was stunning. The pink shades are also wonderful and one quick sweep of any of the rosy colours gives a lovely flush to the cheeks and a lovely natural looking result. I highly recommend this product, it rivals some other coveted palettes that I’ve tried for a fraction of the price.

I remember first trying a brow pencil in my teenage years (many years ago now)! I chose a shade that was far too dark, applied it heavily and ended up looking a bit ridiculous. Since then I’ve been quite reluctant to try using a brow pencil again so I was pleasantly surprised to receive this little beauty from Maybelline that not only matched my light brunette brow colour, but also left them looking polished and really natural. The pencil design itself was really appealing. On one end is the pencil and on the other is a small brush. Once applied in light strokes to fill in sparse areas, the brush assists with blending the product into the brow area. The brown shade really complimented my skin tone and I found the product easy to remove with makeup wipes or micellar water. I highly recommend this new pencil to anyone wanting to enhance their look and create a polished appearance.

I really enjoyed using this amazing new mascara from Maybelline! As a devoted fan of their classic Great Lash mascara, I find many other formulas irritate my eyes and don’t have much staying power but this product really impressed me! With its sleek packaging and easy to apply formula I noticed my lashes looking lengthened and separated without any clumping. The brush is great for giving your smaller outer lashes definition! I started applying the product at the centre of each lash, wiggling the brush in small motions and then worked my way to the edges. When dry, my lashes felt super soft and natural and the product lasted all day without flaking. I found it very easy to remove with my micellar water and cotton pads at the end of the day and I loved that it didn’t irritate the skin around my sensitive eye area. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a fantastic new mascara, especially if you have sensitive eyes like mine.

Wow! I was so impressed with this beautiful hair colour range. I previously tried Garnier Nutrisse a few years ago and wasn't a big fan of the colour range, but they have seriously upped their game since then. I chose the colour Tamarind which is a Level 4, rich chocolate brown and slightly darker than my natural hair colour I have very long, thick hair so I purchased an additional box to make sure I got the best result. Upon opening the product, I enjoyed the gorgeous fruity fragrance and found the instructions to be very clear and easy to understand. The box includes everything you need to colour at home including gloves, which was fantastic. After mixing the colour and applicator bottle together, I began applying the product at my roots and separating it into small sections with the nozzle. I found it easy to gently massage into my scalp and the non-drip formula ensured that my bathroom wasn't a horrible mess! My hair has about 20% grey so I left the colour on for about 30 minutes to ensure they were covered well, then I gently rinsed it out with warm water and applied the conditioning balm. As a surprise addition to the trial Garnier also supplied a lovely avocado mask which I have reviewed separately. My hair can be quite dry so I decided to try the mask as well and was left with super soft, silky locks. I was surprised at how rich the colour was after I dried my hair and was very pleased that it didn't feel stripped or dry like some other home colours I've tried. I will definitely repurchase this product, thank you BH and Garnier for giving me the opportunity to trial this great home colour!

With the prospect of turning 35 just around the corner, I've noticed that my skin is changing and becoming a bit drier and dehydrated, especially around the eye area. Lots of long days at the office, not enough sleep and the joys of being a new Mum all take their toll! Looking at my puffy, red eyes and dark circles in the mirror is no fun so I was delighted to receive this new eye cream as part of the BH Trial Team and put it through its paces First of all, I loved the luxurious packaging and generous sized jar. Although I prefer a pump style cream I used the lid to get just the right amount to pat into my eye contour using my fingertips. I was quite surprised at the tinted colour - it looks a bit like concealer - but instantly absorbed leaving my fine lines blurred, dark circles minimised and puffiness markedly reduced The cream is unfragranced (there is a very faint sunscreen scent) but nothing to irritate the sensitive eye area which is great. I did find it hydrating to an extent but think it will work best in combination with other Olay products to really moisturise and target my fine lines. With twice daily use it delivered excellent results. Thanks Olay!

I trust Pantene to deliver effective and affordable haircare products for my family so I was thrilled to receive this product as part of the BH Trial Team. With a creamy, pearlescent formula I liked how this shampoo lathered easily and left my hair feeling clean and nourished, rather than stripped and dry. Only a small amount of product was needed to thoroughly cleanse my hair and scalp (my hair is waist length) which was very economical and impressive! Now for the downsides. As mentioned in my review for the matching conditioner to this product, I really dislike the new lolly-bubblegum fragrance. If it's not broken Pantene, don't fix it! Millions of your customers know and love the classic and long lasting fragrance of your range so please stop tinkering with the scent. I also feel that as a product specifically targeted for people with coloured, weak hair it could have been a lot more moisturising. I used to love the smell of my clean hair swishing about but with this new range, my hair didn't smell of anything. It was quite disappointing.

With long, dry coloured hair prone to frizz I'm always on the lookout for products that can tame and moisturise my hair. This new Pantene Pro V formula claims to nourish and enliven dry, weakened strands whilst leaving hair strong and manageable. After putting this conditioner through its paces as part of the BH Trial Team, I'm sadly quite unimpressed. First of all, the formula was too runny and lightweight for my hair type. In my experience, women with coloured hair need a super nourishing conditioner to help restore moisture, protein and shine to the hair but this one just did a basic job and left my hair feeling dry and brittle. I also really dislike the new lolly bubblegum fragrance. As a long time Pantene user I really enjoyed the fresh, long lasting scent of the original products (the Deep Fortifying collection was my favourite). I didn't notice my hair smelling particularly fresh or clean during the trial. I did notice that my hair looked more voluminous during use of this conditioner and the matching shampoo, but this was mostly due to frizz and flyaways. Please bring back the old Pantene I know and love, this new range is simply not conditioning enough and smells like a children's shampoo.

I was thoroughly impressed with this new shampoo from Pantene for weak or damaged hair. It has a luxurious fresh floral/fruity fragrance and pearl-like, creamy formula which instantly builds into a rich lather and effectively cleanses my hair and scalp. I like to cleanse twice to remove product build up and found my hair was left feeling soft and nourished rather than stripped and dry like some other shampoos on the market. Only a 20c sized amount was needed for each wash and with long, thick hair and a family of 5 this was a very welcome surprise and will ensure it becomes a firm favourite in our supermarket trolley. I used this product in conjunction with the matching conditioner and definitely noticed that my hair was much more manageable and healthy looking, moisturised and voluminous. As I have regular trims I haven't noticed a reduction in split ends, however, my hair felt protected and much stronger with continued use.

I absolutely love Pantene and its rich, creamy formula and this wonderful new formula ticks all the boxes for me. It smells beautiful and luxurious and promises multiple benefits such as strengthening, smoothing and moisturising weak and damaged hair. With long, thick coloured hair subject to regular heat styling my hair is often quite dry and although I have regular trims, I do sometimes get split ends. After shampooing my hair thoroughly I applied this conditioner all over my hair and experimented with leaving it on for 2 minutes or 10 minutes under a shower cap as a deep conditioning treatment. I found the conditioner to be effective as a wash off treatment, however, it really delivered results when left on to penetrate the hair shaft and work its magic. After rinsing, my hair felt super soft and light with natural volume and movement (not that heavy, weighed down feeling I sometimes get from hair repair products). I did find that I needed some argan oil to sufficiently smooth my flyaways and frizz, however, my hair is quite wavy and often needs this to be the case particularly in winter.
