I have used the original version some years ago when I lived in a very dry place that sucked the moisture out of my oily combo skin. I loved that, so I wanted to see if this imporoved version is better. 72 hour hydration sounds perfect, it would mean I can getaway with only moisturising my face once a day! With that in mind I started using it. The scent is similar to the original version, a bit "clinical". The texture is almost gel-like. Would have appreciated a spatula instead of scooping it directly with my finger. After trial and errors I find the best way of using it is by dotting it on my forehead, cheeks, chin and neck before quickly smoothing it over. Then apply my foundation/cushion foundation straightaway - voila, nice smooth canvas to work on! If I wait too long, it makes my foundations go balling. Frustrating and not a good look whenever that happened! It does FEEL moisturising on my skin. In reality, I don't think it's hydrating enough as I noticed my skin looking dehydrated still. It doesn't do anything on my dry hands and cuticles either. Which is a letdown. I need to use it on top of my serum, somehow it tends to break my skin out whenever I used it straight on my face. Weird but true. I would keep using it as a primer, but not as my regular moisturizer. Therefore the 3 stars is there solely for it's brilliant function as a primer.

In my opinion the lightness of the sunscreen is it's best feature. It doesn't leave your skin feeling very sticky like some sunscreen does. The fluid has lotion consistency, not heavy nor gluggy. The lights scent is fine, not highly perfumed and doesn't smell very chemically The first few times of use I applied the sunscreen on my face, neck and the back of my hands. My skin feels smoother after application. My skin looks shinier than usual on my oily zones, so it doesn't work as well as a base before my usual all-in-one cushion cream Unfortunately after a few days of using it there were some pimples that came up on my nose. This despite washing my face with my usual facial cleanser that can remove waterproof thing. I didn't use other new product on my face, thus I concluded this non-comedogenic sunscreen is probably the culprit that started my pimples True enough, after I stopped using it on my face, my pimples died down and there was no more pimples. It works fine on my neck, back of hands and arms. It's gentle enough to use on children's delicate skin - my 6 year old didn't have any problem whatsoever when I used it on her face and neck Based on that I think my skin doesn't like certain ingredients in the sunscreen, but it might work for other people with normal skin.

One of my cousins has been a big fan of Olay for years, which influenced me to buy this on a whim after running out of my $115 moisturiser/primer. Figured if it doesn't work for me, I can pass it on to cousin Love the hygienic pump bottle. A bit of trial and error to find the squirt size that can cover my whole face and neck The scent is a bit strong for me, but still bearable Surprisingly good for the price. So far it has prevented my skin from dehydration. Not the ideal primer as it "grabs" on my Korean cushion compact, especially on oilier part of my nose, but works fine with normal powder Couldn't tell any reduction in pores, fine lines nor evening out of skin tone yet so far.

I've owned this set since 2008. Was very happy with the softness of the brushes' hair & the noticeably better result of my makeup application. The comb on the browbrush broke not long after, not sure if it was quality problem or if it was squashed in the packaging. Fast forward to 2013: brushes still in the same condition as when I bought them (I washed them regularly, no noticeable shedding). The blusher brush is my favourite, I used it almost daily for giving a healthy (albeit fake) flush on my cheek.

I bought this in Brown when it was on sale. Having never used any Maybelline's mascaras before I was attracted to buy this after reading about the "gel-mousse" concept on the packaging. And the 50% off price tag. Wasn't expecting this to be better than more expensive brands. Surprise, surprise, I actually like this. A lot. Love the flexible wand, the amazing volumizing AND curling effects on my eyelashes - my eyelash curlers are redundant since I'm using this. It doesn't budge, doesn't flake, lasts a whole day from early morning to before bed, even the curls lasts that long! The staying power is so good I had to re-read the packaging to make sure that it's a normal mascara, not waterproof version. I don't notice any lengthening effect as advertised. For that I take 1 star off. Personally I think this mascara should have been marketed as a volumizing & curling mascara. All things considered I would re-purchase. I've already acquired the Black one for "research purpose". Don't tell hubby!!

This cleansing balm removes everything easily, including waterproof makeup & sunscreen. Didn't break my skin, which is another plus. To me it's like a solid version of famous Japanese cleansing oil. A quick look at the jar confirms what I thought: it was made in Japan. That's why it's good, I think. It's a big jar that lasts a while, however I have to use liberal amount to cleanse my skin properly. Minus one star for that.

I've been using this for a few months now. It takes trial & error to find the perfect amount to use. I found that following the instruction on the package says to use liberal amount makes my skin very oily, too shiny & causing some blackheads to appeear. It was as if the product was just sitting on top of my skin. After sometime I found that a pea size amount is enough for my face & neck, works brilliantly in making my skin looks fresher in the morning. It's not a conventional mask where you wash it afterwards. More like using a night cream. As I have oily/combination skin I used it on it's own, not on top of night cream as suggested on packaging.

I have thick wavy long hair that's prone to flyaways & have used a few types of oil to deal with it. Thanks to BH I get to try this new hair oil treatment First impression, I love the glass bottle, looks luxurious. Love the "easy open-easy close" pump - great for travelling, not easily spilled & easier to control the amount needed. Love the scent. I'm used to heavier oil types so it was a pleasant surprise to find this one feels really light on my hand and on my hair I've tried it as treatment before shampooing my hair (works ok), as leave-in conditioning treatment (fab! not making my hair look greasy & not weighing it down), as fly-aways tamer (didn't do much), as heat-protector (didn't think it work well), as shine-inducer (couldn't see the added shine effect) Overall I think it's a decent oil & affordable for what it is. I wouldn't rush out & buy it to replace my favourite hair oil as I need to use a lot more - lots of pumps needed compared to a few drops of my favourite brand. Having said that, I would recommend it as an "entry level" hair oil for people who have never used oil treatment before. In my opinion it might work better for people with thinner hair.

I only received this yesterday courtesy of BH trial team. Used it today when the sun is full-on outside Wasn't that impressed when I just applied it, made my face looked too shiny. But surprisingly it settled down after a while, I only need to put a little finishing powder on top. Mine is the "light" one, which is supposed to suit light/medium skin. Love the tint, doesn't give an orangey look like a brand I tried before. It gives a light coverage, evening out my skintone though it won't cover blemishes/dark marks. I've worn it almost the whole day, no greasy nor shiny face yet so far. I think it would make a good tinted moisturiser, worn alone when my skin looks good, and worn under foundation for better coverage Overall, yes, I would continue to wear this daily, especially now now that summer is finally here!!!! - deducted one star because it doesn't have a comprehensive ingredients list.

I received this as part of the trial team. I like the flip-top packaging, making it mess-free and love the scent. I've been using it a few times in the past 3 weeks. The first time I used it I put too much - my skin went super tingly, it was very minty!!! I've been experimenting with the thickness of the mask and found that it felt most comfortable on my skin when it's applied thinly It;s a bit drying if it's left too long, 8mins is just right for me. Perhaps it's more suitable for summer time when my skin is more oily. At that price point I'd probably be buying it again when I run out of it.
