This is a reasonable and super gentle cleanser. I've only rated it with 3 stars because I find its use is limited for me. For me it is a suitable morning cleanser, though I always cleanse with water (which is not necessary for this product). As I wear sunscreen and foundation daily, it isn't sufficient as an evening cleanser, and even when I do two-steps (e.g. dermalogica pre-cleanse balm), it's not my favourite second as I do tend to find it leaves a slight residue. However, if you needed a product to cleanse when your skin was damaged (eg post-procedure) I imagine this would be spot on. I have not yet had clinical procedures other than hydra-microdermabrasion (which I never went back to because I found it disrupted my skin without providing any other results), but think this would be an ideal post-care kind of thing during recovery from these. This being said while my skin is sensitive, it is not *super sensitive* or highly reactive. E.g. retinols interchanged with both BHA and AHA's different nights of the week do not provoke it so long as I have nights off in between. If you are in the highly sensitive category, probably worth a go. As much as I'm an Avene fan girl, if you are just looking for a gentle cleanser to wash your face, I do not think this one is ideal. But for the purposes above I think it would have it's place. (And also if you don't have access to water e.g. the aeroplane)

If you have sensitive, dry skin that still becomes blocked quite easily and then get congested pores, this is the perfect moisturiser. It suits my skin type perfectly and this is all I need for hydration during winter (I always use a serum first and sunscreen after in my routine but see this product as my hydrator). I find most moisturisers targeting my skin (sensitive but dry/ in summer sometimes sensitive/combination) are far too thick which means both they don't absorb well but also they cause breakouts and make my complexion lacklustre. This works as a "heavy" moisturiser but its consistency is relatively light and actually absorbs well. It also helps with my redness. If your skin is oily, I imagine it might be a bit much, but probably would still be useful if you need a repair product from either peels/procedures or just regular/overuse of chemical exfoliants. Before I became an Avene fan (will out myself) many many years ago, from testing them in the pharmacy I thought they were overpriced and "nothing-y" (meaning in terms of actives etc) - now they are the mainstay of my routine particularly to care and moisturise, but also for an anti-ageing serum. If dryness and redness are concerns I can not see you being disappointed in this product.

This moisturiser does help dry skin. I did not like the balm-like consistency, as I found it too thick, though it did absorb ok. It also is not a greasy formula. The smell is similar to the hand & body cream, which doesn't overly appeal to me. Then again, I am fussy and the smell is neutral, I just don't like it. I have heard that tub/pot packaging for moisturisers isn't great, and it does come in this. My legs are less scaly after using it though, and it sinks in after use, particularly if you leave your legs a bit wet after the shower. If you want a deeply nourishing moisturiser and don't mind thicker formulas, then I would recommend it, but not if your prefer lighter creams. It certainly is good value, and would help dehydrated skins. Particularly on the legs if you get that scaly kind of feeling after a few days of not moisturising or not using the right products.

This is the best absorbing deeply moisturising hand cream I've come across. I've found that most of the more moisturising formulas marketed at "damaged hands" or "extremely dry" skin seem to sit on the surface without absorbing properly. This one is not like that, the cream is white and light enough to sink in after briefly rubbing in. I prefer it to both La Roche Posay & Avene. However, an unfortunate downside for me is that I am not a fan of the smell. It isn't overpowering and probably is quite "cream-like" in its smell, and not fragranced as such, but it just doesn't appeal to me. Though the formula is good enough that it has not stopped me from using the product. It's low price point indicates great value. I would definitely look to purchasing again when my hands are getting scaly - especially in Covid-era washing and sanitising.

This is one of the most moisturising anti-ageing product I have found suitable to wear under sunscreen and make up. I have sensitive, fussy skin so in general it does well with Avene products, but I find that some anti-ageing serums and moisturisers are too thick to properly hydrate. This is watery or thin in a way but this helps it absorb better into skin. I do find it helps brightening and evening my skin tone (most soothing any redness), and does not block pores so that I break out. I credit this among the stars in my routine that keep me looking youthful. I understand the price being off-putting but have had other products and brands I've paid more for that I'm far less happy with than this. I wait until it's on sale and then like using it both morning and night.

I remember reading from Paula Begoun decades ago that a tub was not good packaging for moisturisers because air gets in, etc. But being as much of an Avene girl as I am, and not having a HG night cream, I did give this one a go. It is a reasonable moisturiser, it doesn't have a strong fragrance, and it feels lovely as it goes on, and comes with a little plastic spatula like applicator. I did wake up with moisturised skin so it did seem to last overnight, but overall I found it ordinary for the price. Heading into my mid-30s I'm also looking for some active ingredients to combat ageing as well. If you just want a gentle, lasting moisturiser as a one-stop night product, it might be for you, but I don't know anyone would classify it as impressive. Other than being a lighter texture, I'm not sure it has better hydration that the Light Hydrance moisturiser (which is in a tube and would better please Paula!).

I use this BHA when I want to smooth my skin from breakouts and work on blackheads when my skin is already a little dry. I prefer PC's 2% Gel (which is a gold staple in my routine), but if my skin is dry it can be a bit too much. This is much better for layering, so I can use it then moisturise overnight, so I have some exfoliation but my skin hasn't been stripped dry. If I hit the gel too hard, I also get some flaking, and don't find that with this product. I do have sensitive skin prone to redness and do not find this makes anything worse, but I would recommend intermittent usage. (I would only use this or the gel about 4 x a week, not even every 2nd night). If your routine involves layering I would recommend this over the gel, though it still certainly doesn't "absorb" into skin.

Unfortunately this product did little for my skin. I was looking forward to any effect on my medium sized pores and blackheads. I did find it moisturising but didn't actually notice any difference in my skin complaints. My disclaimer usually is that my skin is fairly good to begin with, so perhaps it works on more severe issues. However, considering it says it targets pores and I definitely don't have small ones, I was expecting more especially at this price point. I would be interested to try another niacinamide product to see if maybe it is the ingredient which just doesn't do much for my skin.

I bought this for some stress breakouts of a large pimple on my cheek and a few spotted around my chin area. I'm a huge fan of my Ultraceuticals sunscreen, and thought forking over the $40 for this, now in a 10mL tube packaging (unlike how it is currently priced and pictured here) would be worth it for dealing with them quickly and effectively. I've been very disappointed as it haven't sped up removal and healing time at all or reduced any redness. I think possibly it could have dried up the surrounding skin a little bit and reduced the size minimally, with no peeling, which is a positive...It also dries to more of a clay finish than the usual gels I am used to with products containing salicylic acid, which I wouldn't mind if it actually worked. Overall I'm sad to have such an experience with Ultraceuticals, as it makes me disinclined to venture into their other more expensive treatment products for ageing skin. The tube also needs to be used within 6 months from opening, which I wondered about before purchase, but have actually used quite a bit of it just in the couple of weeks I've had it as it hasn't quickly treated anything.

Pretty pink packaging for this sheet mask. It had a neutral but pleasant smell, and there was plenty of liquid soaking the mask, and to be able to rub the excess in. I did find it stuck together a bit in terms of unfolding it and applying it, but wasn't a big deal. Beautifully soothing and cooling on application, and beautiful moisture hit. I'm not sure I'd say my skin was more "radiant" afterwards, but it certainly was hydrated and I was relaxed. This is a winner for me. However, I've docked an entire star because they put the "Made in Korea" on the front. If their other products aren't made there, I don't know why they are doing this, just to try to steal market share from the best selling sheet masks from smaller, Korean companies. Interesting to see no Korean address on the back for contact, because it's just a cheap selling point. Obviously I've devoted this many words to it because it irritates me so much. I'm fed up with manipulation and stupid marketing ploys, which is part of the reason I like this website, so a real opinion can be heard. It's a good product, but save the rubbish please Simple.
