I got this as part of the Trial Team Review. In short, I love everything about this product. The first thing that caught my eye (besides the pretty green colours of the tube) was that you only need to leave it on for 1 minute. Hooray for quick skincare routines!! It's perfect to use while in the shower or brushing teeth, no spending hours on face masks when you don't have time. I love how it's in a tube, makes it super easy to use with no mess and take when me when I go away. I also love that I didn't need to use a lot of product to cover my whole face. It says to stay away from eyes and lips, I didn't because I'm a bit sloppy like that, and it didn't irritate my eyes at all, didn't cause any reaction. The smell is a bit divine :) It's not strong by any means but I notice that it lingers on my face throughout the day, which I like as it's subtle. When it's on my face, it doesn't dry it, doesn't pull on skin, doesn't irritate. It's super easy to wash off. There is no residue, and the skin isn't left dry and dehydrated. During the day my face kind of stopped being oily and dry, it was just "comfortable" and I think it's thanks to this product. My skin actually felt velvety and soft. And the appearance improved almost instantly. My face looked fresh and "awake" after only 1 use! That's a great result for someone who doesn't like spending time on skincare. Over time it has dramatically improved the overall appearance, to a point where I got comments about how well rested I look (and I am not well rested by any means). I will definitely continue to use this after the trial is finished, and since it's so easily accessible and affordable I will be buying it when I run out! I was sent this product as part of the Trial Team Review. I am super impressed with it! To be fair, this is the first one of the kind that I have had the chance to use. I have heard great things about this type of formula but have never tried it myself. I wear make up almost every day, and when I do, it involves waterproof mascara, primers etc... So at the end of the day when I have to take it off, it needs to be easy and quick. This is exactly what this product delivered. I was very happy to see that it comes in a giant size bottle. Probably not the best for traveling but who cares?? It's amazing! What impressed me the most was the fact that it was so smooth and did not burn my eyes whatsoever (because some of it actually got inside my eye accidentally) and I didn't have to scrub my face or hold it down on my eyes for too long. The make up just kind of melted away without me having to work hard for it. It took me less than a minute to get it all off. I didn't have to use much product either, which is always a bonus. I love that it doesn't smell, doesn't leave any residue (for those lazy nights when you just can't be bothered to actually wash your face) and it's not oily either. I have been using it almost daily now and I'm in love. It's the perfect make up remover for me for sure! I would definitely buy it when I'm out, which doesn't look like any time soon because there's so much product! Thank you, thank you, thank you BH :)

This palette was sent to me as part of Trial Team review. I was very impressed with the color selection of this palette. It's suitable for every day with an option to glam it up for a night out. This palette has both shimmering and matte colors, which I LOVE. I mostly use the matte ones but it's always nice to have the option to go a bit fancy. - The packaging is great! The palette is not too big so it's easy to take with you for touch ups or when travelling. The lid snaps shut so no danger of it opening randomly in the handbag. - The shadows themselves I found really nicely pigmented. When I apply them they don't flake and go everywhere on my face, which is great! Worth noting that I ONLY use eye shadows with a primer (UD primer potion), never on their own, as I have oily eyelids. - I love how the shimmering shades are subtle. The flecks are not too big to make it tacky, especially one color in particular (top left corner of the palette) is a velvety gold shimmering highlighter, and it looks super classy and elegant. Having said that, I would have loved it if the black shade was a matte one, not a shimmer. - The color lasts all day long, I never have problems with fading or flaking or any other issue. It looks the same at night as it does in the morning when first applied. They are easy to blend and create the exact look I'm after. It's a great little palette, it's an awesome alternative to my holy grail (UD Naked) when I don't feel like taking a big palette with me. It has all the essential colors and can easily replace my usual one. Definitely would be buying it and recommending it to friends! Thank you BH for this opportunity :)

This was given to me as part of the Trial Team. I think out of all 3 products, this was by far my most favorite one! It couldn't have come at a better time too, my brow pencil is almost finished and it's way too soft so makes it hard to apply. Not this one though! This pencil is perfection! - First of all, it was the perfect shade for me. I'm always a bit nervous when buying/getting products online with obscure names because it's just hard to tell if the color is going to suit. However, this one is just called 300 Blonde so pretty straight forward. - I LOVE the design of this pencil! It's a wind up pencil, so no need to worry about sharpening ever. On one side you have the pencil itself, it has this interesting kite like shape so when you apply to the brows it sort of goes with the direction of the hairs and draws in the same shape. Hard to explain but it's absolutely genius and makes application a breeze! On the other side you have a brush covered with a cap. The brush is like a small, fat mascara brush. It does a great job brushing the hairs and removing extra product. - The consistency of this pencil is great. It's creamy enough to apply easily and quickly, and look natural. This pencil is super easy to hold and use and it's by far the best eyebrow product I've ever used. I will most definitely be buying it when I run out, although it probably won't happen anytime soon because you only need a tiny amount of product, it goes a long way! I have received this mascara as part of the Trial Team. This came at a really great time, I was out of my holy grail mascara and needed a new one. I have been using this mascara exclusively since the day it came in the mail. These are the things I noticed about it: - My first impression with the packaging was a very positive one. The mascara tube has this velvet finish which makes it very pleasant to hold. It feels very comfortable in my hand and easy to use. - The first thing I noticed when I opened it was the smell. It has this really nice vanilla scent that is subtle and pleasant. I absolutely cannot stand the typical smell of chemicals so I was very happy to notice that this one didn't have that smell. I really enjoy using it just for this one simple fact alone. - The brush is a bit chunky, however, it did a great job applying product where it needs to go and separating all the lashes. Once though I managed to stab myself in the eye and it wasn't as bad as it normally is, the brush is not sharp or anything :) - The consistency is great! It wasn't too liquid, wasn't too dry, the brush picks up quite a bit of product so it was enough to do both top and bottom lashes without having to dip the brush into the product again. My lashes weren't weighed down by it and they didn't go all hard and dry either. They felt nice and comfortable. Throughout the day, the mascara didn't flake, didn't smear and didn't go into my eye, all of which are excellent characteristics. The formula also didn't make my eyes water, but my eyes are normally not that sensitive, so I don't have any feedback for that. - The color was blackest black, it was very pigmented without being overpowering. Overall I really liked it, I would most definitely be purchasing it when I run out eventually! Thank you BH for this opportunity :)

I've been testing this product for the last few weeks as part of the Trial Team. I LOVE multitasking products, so I was very excited to try this one!
I used it as a daily wash/scrub. First time I used it I found that it made my face tingly and I was afraid I was having a reaction. My skin is NOT sensitive, so that was unusual.
However, I kept using the product and this never happened again, so just a weird one off instance that I feel needs to be mentioned.
This product contains eucalyptus so it might cause this tingly "cooling effect" and a reaction in sensitive people. I really really like the smell of this product. To me, personally, it smells a lot like cucumbers, not like zinc, very fresh! I love products that smell like this. I find that this product is a teeny tiny drying if I don't use a moisturiser straight away after washing my face. But that's not a problem, since we all use them right?? The exfoliating beads are not rough or hurting the skin AT ALL, I found them to be really gentle but enough to be able to exfoliate.
I did have to use more product than I normally would, I'm not sure if it's because the beads are gentle and the consistency is that there's not A LOT of them if that makes sense..? But the product itself is really thick and creamy. Not a problem, since it smells so good I wanted to use more anyway :) Love the packaging, the lid snaps shut and no leakage whatsoever! Fits well in my shower or near the sink without being too big and bulky. Win! Also, good size, will last me a long time! I have to say, I haven't noticed a great deal of difference in blackhead appearance. But to be fair, I think for MY skin, I'll need to keep using this product for way longer and be really consistent. I have really persistent blackheads and cystic acne on my chin area and I think I'll have to finish the whole tube of this product to see if it really works! I do have to say that whatever blackheads/pimples I have, they have been healing better and quicker while using this product. I'm not sure why exactly, the product contains salicylic acid so that could be the reason for this! It promises to mattify the skin as well, I haven't seen any changes in that either, not long term ones anyway. But will keep using and see what happens! I think it's great for every day use, if you're like me and you can't be bothered with a thousand different products, then this is definitely one to try!

I got this product as part of the Trial Team and I couldn’t wait to use it! The idea that it has charcoal in it was very interesting to try and it didn’t disappoint! My face tends to get a lot of blocked pores and blackheads, lots of cystic acne on the bottom half of my face, so I was really excited to try something that promised a relief!
-PACKAGING –
This product comes in a big tube, with a lid that snaps shut. It’s very easy to dispense, no need to squeeze hard, but also it’s not squirting product everywhere. Typical packaging, but very nice to hold and look at. -USABILITY –
This product can be used in 3 different ways: as a wash, as a scrub and as a mask. I think it’s brilliant for us busy people who don’t have time (or money) for million different products. Instead we can do it with just one. Again, brilliant. -SMELL –
This smells REALLY, really nice! I don’t know what I was expecting (charcoal...?) but the smell really impressed me! It wasn’t overpowering or irritating whatsoever, it felt very nice to use it and smell great... -INGREDIENTS –
Charcoal, salicylic acid and blueberry extract – beautiful combination! Salicylic acid 2% is great for us oily type people. Not sure what the charcoal is for, but on the back it states that this new formula has been proven to eliminate the appearance of blackheads by over 80%. YES PLEASE I was mainly using this as a wash and scrub. I use it every day and I have to say, I have seen a dramatic improvement in my skin’s appearance. The blackheads appear to be gone (there’s still some inflammation underneath but it’s a lot less now and also it’s only visible in a magnifying mirror). I have to say that I didn’t expect to be this impressed with this product – I never had any good results with Garnier before. But I’m more than happy to keep using this until it runs out. My skin felt fresh and clean, however just a tiny bit stripped and dry. But it wasn’t enough to not like it, and putting on even the lightest of the moistrurisers fixed it. One thing I didn’t particularly like much about this product is that it’s black. OK, charcoal, it’s obviously black. But it also stained my fingernails. And while it’s all water soluble, it stained my skin a bit around the fingernails. So I had to wash my hands REALLY well with soap afterwards. That was a bit annoying as I didn’t want to spend MORE time in the bathroom. So for this reason I only use this product at night, just in case I miss some spots around my nails. It’s not a deal breaker though, and I will continue to use this product!

I have received this shampoo as part of the Trial Team. I have been suffering from dandruff a bit lately so I was happy to trial this conditioner in the hopes of getting rid of it! This conditioner smells SOOOO nice that even my 8 year old daughter likes to use it (she doesn’t like washing hair much). It smells beautiful, clean and fresh. My hair is long and curly so normally I have to use lots of product (and I did, with the shampoo) but this conditioner wasn’t like that. It was thick but spread nicely all over my hair. 2 minutes later and my hair was SUPER soft and silky. It was really easy to brush after shower and it didn’t dry and go all frizzy. Also, it didn’t leave any residue and my hair was very easy to style. This conditioner didn’t help with the dandruff though. I still found some flaky stuff in my hair and that was disappointing. Like I said before, my daughter loves to use it now. I use it with the shampoo on her as a deterrent for head lice. A lot of people swear by it and so far her head has been clean! I will probably keep buying it, even if it’s just for her.

I have received this shampoo as part of the Trial Team. I have been suffering from dandruff a bit lately so I was happy to trial this shampoo in the hopes of getting rid of it! In the past I have used Head and Shoulders shampoo + conditioner for itchy scalp and wasn’t really impressed but this one is so much better! First of all the smell – it smells REALLY, really good, not like chemicals or just weird (I have used it in the past once or twice and was really turned off by the smell, that was years ago). The smell is fresh and clean and it makes it much more enjoyable to use. I always have to shampoo twice due to my hair being long and curly and there’s lots of it, I felt like it was easy to get all over my hair and it lathered really nicely. However I did have to use quite a bit of product so I can’t imagine it lasting too long! But with the price being what it is, it’s really not an issue. After using it my hair felt clean and fresh, it didn’t dry my hair too much, it did a really good job cleaning it. Also my hair doesn’t like to be washed too often and with teaching exercise classes 4 times a week it was behaving beautifully between washes. Unfortunately this shampoo didn’t get rid of my dandruff, at least not completely. That was the only disappointing factor. Luckily my dandruff is not extreme, just annoying enough to notice. So I think if you’re using this shampoo for just the cleaning properties you’ll be fine. However if you have dandruff, depending on how bad it is, maybe it’s best to buy something else. Another thing to mention – a lot of people swear by this shampoo as a deterrent for head lice. I’ve been washing my daughter’s hair with it and so far, fingers crossed, her hair is totally clean! That’s always a bonus in my book!

I have received this conditioner as part of the Trial Team and have been using it with its' partner shampoo every wash since I got it. The packaging is PRETTY :) it's a bit shiny and it's up side down so it's easy to get product out without shaking it. Also, very easy to get just the right amount of product without wasting! I tried to follow instructions and apply from the tips up to the roots but it didn't give me good results so I went back to my way of applying from top to bottom and it worked GREAT! When the hair is wet and the product is applied, it makes the hair feel very soft and silky and it's very easy to spread it all over the hair without needing any more product, which I'm a fan of since I have long curly hair. Normally it takes me ages to brush out my hair when it's wet, to a point where my arm gets sore from continuous brushing. This conditioner, however, made it A LOT easier for me to brush it out, and cut the time in more than half!! I really really liked that :) When my hair dried, it didn't look flat or frizzy, it was more bouncy and vibrant than usual and was easy to handle at the same time. The only thing I didn't like about this product is the smell. It reminds me of bubblegum, it's so sweet and chemical-y and I really did not like it. The same thing happened with the shampoo and when the conditioner reinforces that smell, it was just too much for me. The next day my hair smelled nice but initially it was way too bubblegum-like. The smell is probably the only reason I will not be buying this conditioner when I run out. But everything else I really liked, so if they ever change the smell I would DEFINITELY buy it!
