I really like silicone in my foundations. I know that's probably not very popular with the "all natural" crowd, but silicone just works so well on my skin offering a smooth application and blurry finish. This foundation has a silicone as its first ingredient, so I knew it would be great for me. I have the lightest shade which is slightly too light, but the darker shade is too dark so I just use the lighter one and add a slightly darker powder sometimes. I do think it is expensive for a pharmacy foundation and you don't get very much product. Overall I do like it and am happy that it covers the redness in my cheeks :)

I really like L'Occitane pefumes. I think they are well made and there is good variety in their range, however they never last long on me. I've got quite a few now and they disappear after about 2 hours. It does help if you layer the fragrance of course. This scent is fresh and clean and I wear it more often in warmer months. You can smell the floral more than anything else and by the time it dries down and you get my favourite part (the musky scent), it's gone anyway. Lovely, but you need to reapply.

This is probably the best rosehip oil I have ever used. It seems to be very pure and sinks into my skin so well. It has minimal smell and is lighter in colour than others I have used. I love the packaging and it's small enough to travel with too. My skin has always benefited from rosehip oil at night so I will continue to purchase the Trilogy brand for that purpose.

I bought this on special and it's not my usual deodorant choice. To be honest, I think this is overkill for me as I live in a cold climate and don't sweat or smell much. It really does work well and completely stops sweat and smell in its tracks. I think it would be great if you were in the tropics or exercised a lot as you would never have a problem with BO. The smell is fresh and pleasant, a bit like my favourite Mitchum deodorant.

This has been my favourite deodorant for a few years now. I like the smaller size bottle which makes it easy to travel with. I never get any underarm odour when I use this, mind you I live in a cold climate so I'm probably not the best example. I like the powdery fresh scent and it's not too strong that it overpowers any other scent you might be wearing.

I have this along with the matching shampoo. I think this conditioner does an OK job at detangling my hair and it smells so good. I really like the scents that L'Oreal use in their products. I don't notice any extra shine. I do prefer to use a non-silicone conditioner though as I have curly hair and I find that silicones make it a bit frizzy. I will use it up but probably won't buy it again.

I was really suprised that this product works so well. I'm not young anymore and wearing concealer under my eyes is rare. I'm not keen on accentuating my wrinkles or dry bits. I usually buy really expensive high end concealers so I didn't have high hopes for this. It's great though! I use it under my eyes, around my nose, in the corners of my eyes....anywhere that needs brightening. The consistency is thinnish, so it doesn't collect or cake in wrinkles. The coverage is not great, but I don't really need to cover much, just brighten. It's perfect for me. Would definitely buy again.

Carmex is my absolute favourite lip balm. Years ago when I was taking Accutane, it was the ONLY solution for my peeling/dry/sore/bleeding lips. It only ever used to come in a pot which was a bit unsanitary for a lip balm, so whenever I visited the US I would stock up on the tube. Now we can get the tubes here! I love how convenient it is to use and you can just throw on in your bag, in your car, in your bathroom...wherever! Carmex has a nice soothing feeling immediately on your lips and a bit of a medicinal smell which I don't mind. I don't know what magic ingredient it has, but it really works and is the ONLY thing that works when you have a bad lip situation going on. You can even get the tinted varieties now (which I also have) and I used to make my own tints too. Great product.

I've tried lots of different brands of wipes. To be honest, I rather like a nice perfume when I'm removing my makeup, but this one is just a bit too strong and smells really synthetic. The wipes themselves are perhaps a bit drying for my skin (I have very dry skin!) but they do remove makeup quite well. Overall I would prefer to try the more gentle options and those for sensitive skin seem to be the best right now. Wouldn't purchase again.

I do love a good cleansing oil, I find they leave your skin feeling soft post-cleanse and are effective in removing makeup. This one from Trilogy (who I also love!) is no exception. I use this in the shower and probably apply more than the recommended amount because I love to just bathe in it. I put it all over my face, neck and chest and it turns into a nice silky cream, leaving my skin feeling lovely afterwards. I like the packaging too. Would definitely repurchase.
