Does exactly what it needs to, every time. I've tried a lot of lip balms (for some reason, people keep getting me to try others), but often they dry out my lips or just don't give long lasting balminess. They haven't changed their packaging for years, and I like that, because I've had one or two (or six) stashed around the house and my husband & daughter know that they can get a good balm fix wherever they get found.

I've used the Dr Lewinns S8 Line Eraser serum twice a day since receiving the trial and I'm really impressed! The packaging is a little bland, but it does inspire confidence in it's clinical appearance. The pump pack is really easy to use and delivers just the right amount in two pumps each time (around the size of a 5c piece) The serum is pearlescent and really easy to apply, it's not oily like serums often are and it stretches all over the face and neck easily. It has no smell and no residue, it soaks in to the skin quickly. It immediately makes a difference after application, which is so amazing to see, but my eyes and skin are tighter without reducing any moisture in my skin. It's great to wear under makeup and gives a moisture boost at night! After using for a while, the serum hasn't lost any of it's initial effectiveness and continues to wear really well, not clogging my skin or causing any issues. A great product!

(missredsage's husband review) The packaging was a bit old school and wasn't great, but the deodorant was pretty good. I didn't think I'd like a cream deodorant, but it didn't grab my hair and it didn't mark anything so in that way it was great. The scent was very fresh and I liked it, no favorites, they both smelt decent. My wife had some troubles with the twister, but I didn't have any troubles with mine. All in all, it wasn't more effective than other anti-perspirants I have worn, but it smelt better and for that reason I give four stars.,

I'm a fairly simple person when it comes to functional beauty items like deodorant. They need to be non-offensive on scent, they need to last well and they need to stop my sweating for any and all scenarios - embarrassment, public speaking, at the gym or just running around on a general day. They need to not irritate and they need to have enough in them that I'm not caught short running out on an important day. Mitchum gets a satisfactory on all of them, but not quite a double thumbs up from me. This is the first cream stick dispenser anti-perspirant that I have used so I'm unsure if there is a trick, but the dial up function at the bottom got stiffer and at one point, just completely stuck, (This is without me treating it badly or being drunk) so design wise, it failed for me. The scent was really nice and mild and the cream really easily absorbed / became colourless on application, so in that way, it was a win. It kept me dry for most days that I used it, although it seems like it only has a single burst of protection - leading a training session (public speaking) and going to the gym in one day seemed to wear it out and I felt I sweat a bit more than required, so the 48 hour protection was, for me, a fail. And as a final thought - there isn't enough in a stick of Mitchum deodorant to last as long as other deodorants / anti-perspirants. I'm not sure if I'm over-using (two clicks per application), but it's disappearing fast!

This one I had high hopes for, because I generally like the Rimmel mascaras, but I think being a retro style, perhaps it also went for the retro formula? It's generally a bad thing when I struggle to get a coat on before it dries out, but this one didn't get too far before I had to re-dunk.Yes, the peanut shaped brush is great and yes, if you keep dunking, then the coverage is good, but if not,then you just get clumps. Not one to apply early in the morning!

Like a lot of others who have sent in their review, I too was very impressed with the new Beach Defence sunscreen. Firstly, I was excited by SPF 50 finally being in Australia, although it seems the overseas markets are getting the same product in SPF 70. The packaging is also bright and happy - a bright yellow made me think of summer and with the spring we've been having, it was well received! On first application, the first thing that struck me was the lolly-like smell, very sweet which I was afraid would be cloying over time but it dissipates pretty quickly and leaves a light sweetness on the skin. It actually ended up being quite pleasant and my daughter loved it, however my husband? Not so much. It's a lotion rather than a cream which I like as it's easier to spread around and cover my toddler daughters skin and my own. It absorbs pretty quickly, like a regular moisturising lotion does and leaves the skin dry and feeling moisturised. This was the selling point for me- the moisture. Usually with sunscreen, I put on a barrier of moisturiser first so that the sun doesn't strip my skin, but with this, I didn't need to. It wasn't quite the same as adding moisturiser, but it was all I needed for an afternoon in the sun. The product suggests that it's water resistant for 4 hours, but I found it didn't quite last that long and reapplied after about three hours (which is a lot longer than the 80 minutes for their overseas version of the sunscreen, but less than other sunscreens). It was a bit difficult to reapply to wet skin, but a quick bit of toweling and it was all good to go. In summary, this is a great sunscreen if you don't mind a scent and can't be bothered doing moisturiser and sunscreen. I'll certainly continue using this over summer.... should the sun ever come out again!

I love dry shampoo. And I love it so much that I've trialed a bunch of brands, but Batiste is the one I keep coming back to and stashing in my bag. This particular one (Tropical) has a slight sweet scent which is perfect for days when I need a little bit of olfactory sunshine, but it still packs the punch of the regular Batiste, also a favorite staple of mine. I have pretty fine hair that doesn't like to do much, so mid week when I don't want to wash it again I give a dry shampoo to get it through another day. The dry shampoo re-energises the roots and gives a bit of body to my oil-heavy locks so I feel wonderful heading out for the day. It also works when I'm at the gym and done more than I planned - A quick rinse of the hair, then blow dry and dry shampoo to have me back to glam for a return to the office. A huge fan of Batiste.

As far as facial make up removing wipes go, Simple are pretty much the best. They leave no residue, have no smell, the sticky part of the pack remains sticky so they don't accidentally dry out and don't dry out the skin. I did feel that I needed to wipe quite a bit harder with these than with other wipes to get all my mascara off, but for the no alcohol trade off, I'm pretty happy.

I always have some of this scrub on hand for days when my skin doesn't need any correcting, but it feels ready for a scrub. There isn't any scent which is nice for days when you don;t need to feel like you are putting your face in a bowl of fruit. The beads are small enough to work magic, but big enough that they don't get lost, and it washes off really easily, something a lot of cream based scrubs aren't known for. I often pair this with their grapefruit wash to get a good hit in the shower, and for weekly use, it works for me.

I was lucky enough to be given a trial of the Maybelline "Dream Fresh 8-in-1" BB Cream and of it's 8 claims, it hits the mark on at least some for all. Fresh, Lightweight Feel - It certainly is light, but in some ways it's too light. BB Creams to my mind should be able to be used instead of foundation on a daily basis to work. This didn't seem to cover enough and I had to use powder with it to create enough of a base for my face. Blurs imperfections - I found a second coating of the cream did this, but who has the time to do this every day? Enhances - I think the pigments in here did work well to enhance and... Brightens - brighten the skin, but not quite as much as other BB creams I have used. Hydrates All Day - I will give it props for moisturisatiion, it didn't dry out any part of my skin. Visibly Smoothes Skin - Another claim that I can't support - it gave a thin veneer so it smoothed it to a small degree, but not as effectively as I would have hoped. Adjusts to Skin Tone - This I will support ad the colour didn't come out with what I thought would be a match for my sin, but it certainly did adjust, although this could be because of the watery nature of the product. Oil Free - agreed. It doesn't smell, the packaging is cute if a bit teenage (which come to think of it would be a perfect skin market for them) and I keep it in my gym bag for a "secondary" BB cream after my normal Garnier.
