I've only been using the Neutrogena Visible Repair Regenerating Cream for a little over two weeks but I could tell from the very first day that I'd love it. It's got such a lovely rich consistency and blends in so smoothly, leaving your skin literally feeling so plump and hydrated. It also smells great without being too overpowering. While I haven't seen a difference in the crows feet/ lines around my eyes (yet!) - I have noticed all my horizontal forehead lines and frown lines between my eyebrows (glabellar lines) have softened a bit. My skin certainly feels tighter and looks brighter - so hopefully the affects and results will become more visible with time and continued use. As someone who has not used retinol products before, I did not experience any reactions and have been using it daily since I got the cream.

The skin serum I didn't know my 45 year old skin desperately needed - I am hooked! I was skeptical about this little purple bottle. I've tried lots of different beauty and skin products over the years and was always left thinking it wasn't worth the effort or money. But I really loved this serum, and will definitely keep using it. It goes on so smoothly and is quickly absorbed, leaving my skin dewy fresh and instantly lighter and brighter. The serum seemed to just even out my skin tone overall - I only had a few light spots and discolouration. Mostly my dehydrated skin just felt alive and nourished again. I did get some light tingling sensations around my cheeks and forehead the first few days but I think that was just my skin adjusting (I had only been using moisturiser before this) and then it was absolutely fine. I used the serum once a day for the first few weeks ( I wanted to go in slowly and let my skin adjust to the new product) and then started using twice a day. I waited a minute or two and then applied my moisturiser and that combo was just delicious! I kept using the serum until it ran - approx. 10 - 12 weeks - and have ordered more. It's not cheap but I think it's worth it.

I used this ointment for a couple of weeks, applying to the dry skin on my knees, elbows and heels straight after a warm shower or bath. It immediately softened and smoothed my skin and leaves a protective layer like vaseline but not slippy or oily. I also had a dry patch on my right ankle which seems to have cleared up. So, I also tried it on some eczema/ rash areas and it definitely provided symptom relief after using it daily for about 4 days. Found the squeeze tube a little hard to squeeze and use, so will probably try the tub next time. I will definitely keep using it and hope it will continue to provide protection and moisture to my aging skin.

Dry skin is becoming more of an issue as I get older, so I was keen to give this a try. I've been using the Cicaplast Baume B5 Balm mainly on my face, hands, arms, elbows and knees for a couple of weeks now. It's a richer and thicker consistency compared to regular moisturiser but rubs in easily leaving my skin feeling slightly moist/ dewy. It certainly helps with calming down the dryness immediately and for some time after application but it's too soon to see any longer-term improvements or changes. It has almost no fragrance so it won't clash with perfumes and other beauty products, and won't offend sensitive noses. The medium sized squeeze tube is convenient to use, and slips easily into my handbag.
