I've struggled with thinning hair, especially due to past alopecia. While I still have dense, thick hair overall, certain areas have been noticeably sparse, and my individual strands tend to be quite fine I’ve noticed with ageing and I also have natural undyed hair. I've been using Nioxin System 2 for just a few weeks now, and so far, I'm impressed! I’ve already noticed new baby hairs growing around my temples, and they seem a bit thicker and stronger—they're definitely not falling out like they used to. It’s still early days, so I’ll need more time to fully evaluate the results, but it’s promising so far One thing I loved and noticed was the scalp hair treatment in the system contains a UV protectant, this is so important as I have light skin but dark hair which attracts light and especially in the Australian heat waves we are having right now. Trauma and damage to the scalp can lead to further hair loss. Looking forward to seeing how things progress with continued use!

I was lucky enough to receive Olay Micro Sculpting cream. For context I am 30 years old and have dry dull skin, no major wrinkles but some fine lines that are starting to form that I want to avoid getting worse I used this cream morning and night as it can be used for both, for the last few weeks, the first time I used it I woke up with plump skin that stayed hydrated throughout the night. The cream is thick and hydrating which did make my fine lines on my forehead appear much less. After a few weeks of using the cream I can definitely say my skin feels brighter and way more plump and I can feel my skin being way softer as well and I’d say has much more a glow and my foundation applies so much nicer now. I highly recommend this product, I cannot comment yet if my skin feels more firm as it has only been a few weeks.

Received the Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil from the Beauty Heaven 2024 event and absolutely love it. Hard to go wrong with a Bioderma cleansing oil or any of their products ever. I used this as a makeup remover and also a cleansing oil to wash and cleanse my skin on it's own before using a gel cleaner. Works so well and also leaves your skin feeling so soft afterwards and no irritation either. No breakouts as it does not clog your pores at all, just make sure to double cleanse afterwards with a water based cleanser. Highly recommend.

I received the frizz ease extra strength serum at the beauty heaven event 2024 to trial. To start off, I have wavy hair that gets frizzy easily, hair oils and serums are part of my daily routine. This hair oil worked great and doubles as a heat protectant which is amazing and saves me time and effort as well. I use a lot of oil serums for my hair, I did find this to be slightly too oily and didn't sink into my hair as nicely as others. It smells absolutely amazing but I am not the biggest fan of fragrances in hair products as it can cause irritation or hair loss.

Received the Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm from the Beauty Heaven event and loving it! This stuff is a total game changer for my lips. It instantly softens and hydrates, making dry, chapped lips a thing of the past. The formula is packed with awesome ingredients like kokum butter, shea butter, and marula oil, which means my lips are getting some serious TLC. I did not have to reapply this product too often either which is a bonus. What I really appreciate is that it’s made with more butters and less wax than other balms, so it glides on effortlessly and doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. It’s tint-free, which is perfect for a natural look, and I love that it has a matte finish. Even better, it’s all-natural and free from any nasty chemicals like parabens or phthalates. I can use it without worrying about what’s going on my lips, which is a huge plus! Overall, Burts Bees is always known for amazing lip balms and are 100% natural, will always repurchase.

I recently tried Dr. Wolff’s V-san Intimate Wash Lotion which I received at the Beauty Heaven event, and I have to say, I’m not a big believer in intimate hygiene products. I feel that the body is self-cleaning, and using such products might disrupt the natural pH balance. While the lotion is marketed as a gentle daily hygiene solution, I’m concerned about the implications of using it regularly. Although it contains lactic acid to help maintain pH levels and chamomile extract for soothing, I just don’t think it’s necessary for most people. The formula is skin-friendly, and I didn’t experience any irritation while using it, which is a plus. However, I still feel that relying on a product like this could interfere with the body’s natural processes. Overall, I appreciate the intent behind the product, but it’s not for me. I’ll stick to the natural cleansing methods that my body knows best.

I recently tried the Plantur 39 Conditioner I received at the Beauty Heaven event, which is specifically designed for fine, brittle hair over 40. Since that’s not my hair type at all—I have thick hair and I'm not experiencing any aging or hormonal-related hair loss—I didn’t expect to see major results. I have to mention that the conditioner smells fantastic similar to the shampoo. It has a lovely scent that makes my hair feel fresh and revitalized. However, I didn’t notice a significant difference in terms of conditioning or softness. Given that my hair is thicker, I found it didn’t provide the deep moisture I typically look for. While I can appreciate the formula’s intention to cater to finer hair, I think it might not be the best match for me. I didn’t experience any of the benefits that might be more noticeable for someone with the hair type it's intended for. Overall, I’d say it’s a decent conditioner, especially if you fit the target demographic.

I received this product at the Beauty Heaven 2024 Best In Beauty Marketplace event to trial. I didn't get enough time to really trial it and see significant results for hair growth. I noticed some benefits, but not enough to make a solid judgment. The packaging also specified it was for 'fine brittle hair over 40', but i have thick hair and i am 30 years old so haven't experienced any hormonal hair loss or hair thinning yet to properly comment on this. One thing, this shampoo smells absolutely amazing! It’s a lovely scent that makes washing my hair feel like a little treat. The caffeine in the formula is a nice touch, and I appreciated that it revitalizes the hair after just a short time in the shower.

I received this product to trial at the Beauty Heaven 2024 event, and wow, I’m so glad I did! Dermal Therapy Sensitive Skin Lotion has quickly become a must-have for me, especially since I have sensitive skin as well. when I first used this I noticed how incredibly hydrating it is. The lotion feels nice and rich but absorbs super quickly, so my skin feels soft and moisturized without any greasy feeling. It’s perfect for daily use, and I love how it keeps my skin comfortable all day long. One of the best parts is that it’s really gentle. It’s free from all those harsh chemicals like sulphates and parabens, which is a huge plus for my sensitive skin. I have 'chicken skin' keratosis pilaris on my chest that gets worse with cold weather, or having too long showers. I was able to use this on my chest with no irritation and helped reduce the appearance of the KP as well. One thing I love, is it is made in Australia!

I have received this item at a previous Beauty Heaven event and I gave it an amazing review before, nothing has changed and it is the one item that is ALWAYS in my hand bag. I have genuinely never had a product work so well in such no thrills packaging and for an amazing price point, it is almost instant results. Since getting lip tattooing I noticed my lips dry out often when they never used to as well, this helps with lip dryness almost instantly and results last up until the next day for me. There is nothing else much to say other than BUY THIS! You will not regret it !
