If I'm completely honest, I wasn't expecting much from this cushion foundation especially after trying and falling in love with Korean cushion foundations, but this one blew me out of the water! The packaging was fairly standard - a not too bulky cushion case + mirror, with a puff sponge and the foundation soaked sponge in a separate compartment underneath. The colour match was a little too light and pink for my natural skin tone, but with a little powder it looked close to perfect. The coverage is light with one thin layer, but easily buildable to a medium. I didn't really care to build it to full coverage when I was wearing it day to day, but I imagine the formula to be a little too thin to create an absolutely flawless base. In saying that, I absolutely love how lightweight and natural this foundation is! I barely felt it on my skin, and despite drying down to a satin finish and non-tacky to the touch, it was just so comfortable! I've tried bb creams thicker and more present than this! The other amazing thing is the finish. I swear as the day went on the finish just grew more and more beautiful. It looked like I had no foundation on, and instead just had beautifully glowing skin! My pores were minimised, my complexion brightened and moisturised, and also protected with SPF 40! I've been wearing it every day to go out, and will definitely be wearing it every day when university starts up again. It's so easy to apply and blend and it just looks so amazing that I'm not sure I can go back to regular foundation right now. I've also tried it without powder, and the finish is even more stunning, especially if you love to look glowy and youthful. It's also very handy to carry around for touch ups or traveling, it's small enough to carry around in my makeup bag for sleeping over or trips. I would definitely recommend to friends and family with similar skin tones to me. I have oily/combination skin that's very sensitive and acne prone, and this didn't break me out or irritate my skin. I imagine this would be good for all skin types, just because it's so light and comfortable!

I have thick thick hair to my waist, and it's a pain because it's constantly knotty and tangled. If I don't brush my hair a few times throughout the day, I find it can even tangle itself to the point where it hurts to brush it out. This is where the Tangle Pro comes in. I think the magic comes from the short plastic bristles. I have the Tangleze by Lady Jayne and it works in a similar way; if you have a giant knot, use short strokes, otherwise just brush like normal and the bristles just glide through your hair without tugging painfully or pulling hair out. This brush really helps my hair look healthy and smooth, and the best part is I don't have to constantly clean my brush because it just is so gentle and effective. In comparison to regular brushes, there is no comparison. I don't think I can ever use a regular brush or comb again. In comparison to the Tangleze, however, I think I would recommend this for your vanity, and the Tangleze for your purse. This large paddle brush feels better in your hand versus the egg shaped Tangleze, and it also brushes through your hair a lot faster, which is handy for me because I have so much hair, it's ridiculous. I also don't really like to brush my hair when it's wet because I feel like it would result in a lot of damage and pain, but this brush was surprisingly efficient at detangling wet hair too, which was really impressive. Overall, I literally have nothing bad to say, and would definitely recommend this to a friend.

For reference, I have very thick and long hair, that can get oily a day after washing. I actually try not to wash it too often, usually just twice a week, and use dry shampoo between washes. Prior to trialing this, I used the Klorane Oatmeal Dry Shampoo which I also like. My hair is very dark, especially my roots, and my biggest issue with dry shampoos tend to be the white cast they can leave. I was really happy and surprised to see this dry shampoo had the finest mist that didn't leave any powdery residue. I could barely see it in my hair (usually I have to work it in for a while) but I could tell my hair was matter and fresher looking after a couple of sprays. It also created such a natural volume in my hair, it was a little overwhelming since my hair is already quite thick and big. I would definitely recommend this for people with thinner hair for volume. The scent is a little unexpected, and I'm not quite sure what it is. It smells very vaguely like grape, but it's very fresh and light. It still isn't something I would seek out, but it isn't overpowering so I don't mind it too much. The bottle is very sleek and clean, and while a little big for my handbag, it's fairly light so if you're really desperate, this wouldn't be the worst to travel with. And finally, my favourite part is the fact that this is cruelty free, vegan and has natural ingredients. I think a big part of reducing hair oil and build-up is using natural ingredients on my hair follicles.

Let me preface this by saying I'm a really big fan of Nude by Nature, but I'm not too impressed with this pressed mineral powder. I've used the loose version of this before, and I was really excited to pick this up since I thought it would be a more convenient version of the loose powder. It works well in a sense, I get the same effect of the loose mica powder, which is a semi-matte natural finish. Obviously it doesn't provide any coverage, but I find the ingredients are soothing on bare skin and it also works to set my Nude by Nature mineral cover foundation. I'm also a fan of the packaging, it's very slim and it comes with a mirror inside. In a perfect world this would be fantastic for touching up on the go, or to keep in a travel makeup bag. And as per usual with NBN, the ingredients are all things I am comfortable putting on my skin. The only issue with this it the fact that I keep getting hardpan. In fact I don't think I've used half of the product that's disappeared from the pan; I've scraped it off because I'm continuously getting hardpan, and I've been trying to get to the product underneath. This is a fairly big deal for me, since NBN is fairly pricey, and I don't like the idea of scraping off dollars into the bin. I definitely will not be repurchasing this, and when I've finished with this I'm probably going to think about whether or not I want to get the loose version, simply because it's so messy. This powder has also made me become rather wary of their new pressed powder range. Overall I'm fairly disappointed with NBN and I really hope it's just my powder that's doing this.

I picked this up on sale because I'd heard such amazing things about this liner. This was my second liquid liner and I was really excited to try something new. To cut to the chase, this liner really lives up to its hype. It's so easy to use, the brush is so tiny and flexible and it makes drawing on a cat eye so simple I swear I could do it on a very bumpy bus ride and come out with Adele wings. The pen style is also very slim and easy to hold and carry. The formula is very opaque and not too liquid-y, literally everything I look for in an eyeliner. It also doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes, like my Essence liner did. I also get very oily eyelids, and often have issues with my eyeliner smudging. This does it a little, but if I set it with a black eyeshadow, I'm good for the day. It also doesn't flake around the wing, which is a big deal since I need to have my makeup intact for 12 hours straight sometimes. Literally the only issue is how quickly this liner dries out. I think it lasted 2 weeks... which makes the cheap pricetag suddenly much more dramatic. I can't bring myself to repurchase this now that I know it doesn't last me at least a month. I'm definitely on the lookout for a liner with the same brush, but a different formula that doesn't die on me after a fortnight. I think this is definitely worth trying, but I can't really recommend it since I won't be repurchasing this for myself.

I'm very lazy with applying lotion after I shower because I hate the sticky and greasy feeling that often comes with most body creams. As a result, I had rather scaly legs, and I definitely think my dry skin contributed to my stretch marks on my thighs and butt. Ever since using this, it's become a lot easier to moisturise before bed, since this lotion dries very quickly, and actually sinks in my skin instead of just sitting on top and rubbing off. It doesn't smell fantastic, it kind of reminds me of QV, but it makes my skin feel awesome. I didn't realise how tight and dry my skin was until I started using this and my skin, especially my legs, felt plump and fresh and soft again. The combination of a body scrub and this lotion has returned my scaly legs to baby soft skin. I really like the big pump bottle, because it's convenient to use and it's going to last for ages. I kind of wish the scent was more attractive, but at the same time I'm glad because it's very gentle on my sensitive skin.

I'm on my second bottle of this stuff, I love it so much! It's very hydrating, refreshing and calming for my skin. I love spraying this right after I've cleansed my skin, when I'm feeling gross in the morning or right after a hot shower. Especially in the morning, this mist makes my skin glow. When I was looking into trying a rose mist or toner this was the most affordable one I could find. I really like Sukin and trust the brand and their ingredients and ethos., so I don't ever worry about the low price being a compromise on the quality of the product. The spray nozzle itself shoots out a perfectly fine mist and I find 2-3 sprays is enough for my entire face. I also like how I don't waste any product like I would with a cotton round. In saying that though, I find when it's very hot you can overdo the sprays just because it feels so nice, so I think I go through these fairly quickly. I think this has also been helping maintain my clear and acne-free skin. If you're acne prone, have sensitive skin, or have lots of redness around my cheeks like me, I think you should definitely give this a go. It also has chamomile which is very calming. I don't really use this to set makeup but I do use it to fresh up my foundation on hot days. I use a powder foundation and it doesn't unsettle it or make it clump weirdly.

I'm a really big fan of Sukin and this eye serum doesn't disappoint. My favourite thing about this product (and all Sukin products) is the really amazing, natural, healthy and organic ingredients list. Aloe Vera is the top ingredient, which is a little surprising but I think it helps to depuff and soothe the delicate eye area. Especially when I haven't had much sleep, my eye bags get extra puffy and this serum really helps with the puffiness and the darkness. The packaging is sleek and I like the pump for hygiene but it is a little hard to control, and sometimes I pump out too much. I don't mind using this on my face though, and considering the very affordable price tag (eye care products tend to be very pricey) I don't think it's a huge issue. The texture is a very light-weight gel. It's not runny, which means nothing can slip and slide and drip into my eye. It's also very nice to pat into the eye area and absorbs nicely. It's quite hydrating and nourishing but I think people looking for a miracle product might want to try something else. This works for me because I don't have any fine lines yet and don't have a very dry eye area. If you are looking for your first eye cream, I think this is a fantastic product.

Probably my favourite thing about Dr LeWinn products is the deep hydration, and this day and night cream is no exception to this. This cream comes in a gorgeous tub that fits perfectly in my hand, with a lid that reminds me of a giant crystal. The formulation is very lightweight, and so smoothing on my skin. I have used this right after my goats milk soap, which tends to strip my skin of moisture, and this completely restores my skin and then some. I like that it's so lightweight because it feels very nature on the skin, and it also absorbs really quickly. It actually dries to a soft skin-like feel, and I can't see or feel it on my skin unlike QV or something thicker, which doesn't ever seem to sink into the skin properly. This property also makes it really handy to wear under makeup, because it provides this perfected-skin texture, and it's also handy at night because it doesn't rub off all onto your pillow. In terms of brightening, I've actually gotten compliments from my family about my skin for its luminosity lately and I think it's mostly down to this cream, as I use it the most often. Even I can see that it has just made my overall complexion more even and brighter, and I feel much happier being bare faced now. I think my only qualm with this is the fact that its in a tub, and I don't like dipping my finger into the product repeatedly. I use a qtip or a spatula to get the product out each time, which is a little bit of a hassle, but because of the results I still go through the bother just because I like the cream so much. I think this cream gives the best results out of this luminosity line, and because the packaging is gorgeous too, I would recommend this as a gift to yourself or to someone with relevant skincare concerns.

This is my second dabble into eye creams, and I have to say I'm really shocked at how hydrating and brightening this stuff is. Over the years I've developed some darkness around the eyes, and I've always found my eye area to be a little dry. This eye cream is perfect for me. The product actually comes out by squeezing the tube onto the cool metal disk(? I don't know how to describe it) that you can run under your eye to disperse the product as well as depuff the eye bags. At first I thought it was a little gimmicky, but I think it's actually very soothing and relaxing. You just have to make sure you clean the top every so often, but considering it's not going over acne spots, I think it's a relatively okay design. Sometimes when I'm lazy I just squeeze out the product and just use my ring to pat in the cream instead of doing the extra step of depuffing them. The formula itself is very brightening, and in certain lights it almost has a pinkish sheen, which I think counteracts the darkness under the eyes well. It's very light, which means you only need the most gentle of touches to pat and blend it out. It's also very cooling in its own right, and I find it wakes me up a little in morning. I don't think it has amazing smoothing qualities under makeup, and I still find I need a primer around the eyes to stop creasing, although I would rather an eye cream help over the long term instead of just doing the primer's job. I think my eye area is definitely softer and more hydrated after using this over the long term, so I'm very happy with it. It's also very compact and good for travel, so I can easier carry this in my makeup bag.
