I bought Lilacism and for someone who usually buys polishes from chemist warehouse for under $10, I was expecting a better formula and more opacity than the chemist options. That being said, the colour of lilacism is absolutely gorgeous. Very vibrant and very ontrend at the moment. Rather than all my nails, I used it for some nailart and it lasted me quite a long time. I actually removed it before it started chipping away. I would recommend this shade for something fun but I think I will be looking at the more animal friendly polishes in future.

I bought Topless & Barefoot and Spin the Bottle and for someone who usually buys polishes from chemist warehouse for under $10, I had somewhat higher expectations. Unfortunately after the first time I used it, I found that the formula thickened and it was quite gooey, difficult to use. That being said, it did hold up well, especially with a clear top. I personally wouldn't buy these again as in future I would either splurge with a vegan/cruelty free polish and pay extra or purchase some of the cheaper ones from the chemist. I also strongly prefer Spin the Bottle as the Topless colour looks very pink on me.

This is the best makeup remover I've ever used. For reference, I use Urban Decay Primer Potion and Stila Eyeliner for winged eyeliner that I wear most days. The combination of the primer and the waterproof eyeliner makes it very annoying to get off at the end of the day and this product makes it a breeze! It does get messy when removing the makeup but I find using a qtip dipped in the solution is the best way to use it to minimise waste. I then make sure all the makeup bits are off my eyes before cleansing my face as this solution does have some oiliness to it. When you shake the product, you can see it separate. It has a nice pleasant smell and is a fantastic eye makeup remover if you're not fussed about price.

I've been using this product for many years as it has a well earned cult status amongst skincare circles. Until recently I've had to purchase this online from overseas but now that it's in store, this is such good news for me. I highly recommend this moisturiser to anyone regardless of skin type. I do use the CeraVe lotion in humid/really hot weather but overall I think this is a fantastic, basic moisturiser that might surprise you. It contains hyaulronic acid and ceramides which are proven ingredients that help skin and for the price and quantity, I find this to be superior to almost all other moisturisers on the market. It always leaves my skin feeling hydrated and moisturised, it is a thick cream but it spreads easily and is absorbed well. I also haven't had issues with wearing makeup or sunscreen on top of this. I recommend the tub version over the tube for value as you can use this on your body as well. If you're getting the tube, I recommend purchasing a pump bottle you can decant it into or getting the tub with pump version online. This will make it much easier to use and keep your tub sanitary.

A perfect, balanced and no frills cleanser from CeraVe that's finally available in Australia. As someone with normal skin that leans dry, I strongly recommend if you've been using something like cetaphil and need an upgrade. The ingredients are gentle on your skin but this cleanser still removes grime and makeup. It feels like a gel that never foams, just sort of smooths over your skin and leaves it clean. The pump packaging is also very handy and I'll definitely be repurchasing. I follow it with the CeraVe cream in the tub which I highly recommend for everyone regardless of skin type.

I bought this on a whim this winter because my usual paw paw ointment wasn't cutting it with the dry air. This is the first time I've tried a lip balm from Burt's Bees, I'd used their other lip products but hadn't seen the need for a lip balm since paw paw usually does the trick. They have various fragrances, such as vanilla, mango and even pomegranate. I went for strawberry since I love the smell and I'm so glad I did. I can actually tell that this nourishes my lips and does more than just seal moisture in. It actually penetrates and leaves my lips feeling smooth and happy even after it's been absorbed. I'm not sure if it's the sunflower seed oil, the coconut oil or the beeswax but whichever ingredient it is, it's made a significant difference to my lips this winter. I highly recommend this or one of the other versions. It's a little more expensive than other lip balms such as nivea or maybelline but I find this really works and is worth the price for sure. I enjoy the smell so much, sometimes I find myself sniffing it after putting it on. Highly recommend it if you'd like a real nourishing lip balm made from natural ingredients. Another small thing I appreciated about this product is the paper packaging - no plastic besides the actual product.

The tagline on the packaging reads 'the world's purest facial wipes.' I would have to agree as I haven't come across any other facial wipe that is 99.99% water. These are pretty incredible. For such a long time, I've been looking for facial wipes that don't leave some sort of residue on your face or leave it feeling sticky. It's great to use wipes that are pretty much water as if i was actually washing my face, that's what I would be using as I don't wear much makeup. I have to think if you want to remove stubborn makeup, this probably won't do but as someone who wears mineral powder foundation and eyebrow pencil, I found this to do the trick good enough and leave my skin clean. These wipes are very wet, they're durable and also have a fairly large surface area. Since it's winter, they always felt nice and cool adding to the refreshing feeling. I would definitely recommend these for sensitive and dry skin as they don't have fragrance or alcohol and just feel like a wet cloth. Very comfortable to use and they almost leave your skin feeling damp so I found it great to follow up with a toner immediately to seal in that moisture. Really interesting product that I'll continue to use

Overall I was quite happy with these strips. They were effective in removing my leg hairs with minimal irritation and actually worked quite well. I have used other products before such as Nair and Veet and even the hair removing creams but I really these wax strips. The wax warmed up easily, and they were great to reuse as well. I've recently been thinking of moving onto wax as I have been shaving for years and my skin traps hairs underneath which can be very uncomfortable and irritating. After using these wax strips, I think I can actually go back to using them instead of shaving completely. One thing I really appreciated about this product was the minimal packaging, it was no-nonsense and straight forward. They were easy to stick onto my legs and although they did leave my legs red and spotty, that was usual for my sensitive skin. One thing I didn't particularly enjoy was the strong mint fragrance. I might just be a little picky but I found it a bit much and also a little unnecessary.

I received this product to review as part of the trial team. I have dry/normal skin with occasional breakouts on my nose and cheeks. I have fairly sensitive skin so it's important for me to use gentle products. For this reason, I found myself using this product as a mask more than a scrub or wash as the little granules felt a little harsh for exfoliation. I prefer chemical exfoliants such as BHA and AHA so I much preferred to use this as a mask. I would let it sit on my face for roughly 3-4 minutes before washing it off and it left my skin feeling soft and deeply clean. I'd say it actually felt dry but that's to be expected with this cooler weather and my dry/dehydrated skin. After moisturising, it wasn't a problem and I felt that my moisturiser sinked in better than usual as well. The texture of this is quite strange, it comes out like a worm or spaghetti. It's slippery and could roll off your hand because it doesn't really stick. It makes it a little difficult to apply evenly but it's not a big deal. As someone with dry/normal skin, this isn't going to replace my daily cleanser but I can definitely see myself using this every once in a while when my skin feels very congested and unclean.

I received this product as part of the trial team. The bottle is 400ml and I was impressed by the size which the packaging equates to ~200 uses. Firstly, I find the opening and closing quite fiddly. Especially if you have wet hands which you very might have, the bottle is slippery as the shape is very round and the opening is not well designed. As the top opening is flat, controlling where the milky water goes is quite difficult when applying to a cotton pad. The milky water itself is quite thick, fragrance-less (which is a plus) and takes a while to absorb into cotton. I personally think it wouldn't last as many as ~200 uses but of course that would vary. Once the pad was applied, it was very soft and gentle on my skin when removing makeup. I found it was quite effective at removing liquid and powder makeup. It struggled a little with heavy eye makeup but as always I have jojoba oil for that. My biggest complaint about this product is the residual feeling it leaves on my skin. It leaves it very soft and has in no way irritated my sensitive skin but it leaves it tacky and almost like there's a layer of oil sitting on top of my skin. I'm not the kind of person who is okay with that so I found myself reaching for my cleanser after using this product. For this reason, this isn't something I would recommend as this is supposed to be cutting out a step, not making me double up on cleansing.
