I have very short dark hair and picked this up for those days my hair doesn't really need a wash but my long fringe is looking a little greasy. I found if I was to use enough to get any effect, the white powder was a problem. I was careful not to spray too close or in one spot, so it doesn't look like a dandruff attack, more like my hair is dusty :S I'd say this is great for blondes or light brunettes, but for naturally dark (almost black) hair like mine it's not the way to go unless there is no other option.

Like everyone else here I adore MAC pigments - a little goes a long way and the colours and staying power is like nothing else.
Only 2 downsides - the colour range isn't as large as the normal eyeshadows and the pots are so large you will never get through them!
These put me off buying the pigments, but I recently got a pack of 6 mini pigments in a xmas pack. I'm converted and will be buying more!

No other company compares with the colour range of MAC eyeshadows! Whatever colour I want, I just wander in and know that they will have something for me. They are also super-pigmented, so a little goes a long way and the colour doesn't fade too much during the day.
A little pricey, but in my opinion definitely worth it!
