Thank you to BeautyHeaven for giving me the opportunity to trial the Olay Micro-Sculpting Cream 50. When I first opened the jar, I got a strong perfume smell coming from the cream. From previous experience, my skin doesn't react well with creams that have a perfume smell. A moisturiser, you only need a small amount each night before you go to bed. When I used it for the first couple of days, I loved how hydrating it felt on my skin and neck. It felt like a mask on my far which gave much need boost of hydration during the night. I would wake up with my skin glowing. After the first week, I started to see a couple of red bumps appear on my cheeks however, I continued to use it because I loved the fact that it kept my skin from drying out very quickly. Unfortunately, I made the decision to stop using it 2 1/2 weeks into it as I started to see an increase in tiny bumps on my cheeks again and also itching on my neck due to the smell of fragrance. I would not recommend it for people that have sensitive skin.

When I got this as part of the 2024 Best in Beauty Event, i was really excited to try it. I have been using the lip balm daily and I just love it! I actually went and got a similar one from Priceline for my husband because he constantly suffers from dry lips. This has been a lifesaver during the sudden change in weather recently and have given much needed hydration during the day. I like to put a bit more of the lip balm just before I head to bed so I can use it as an overnight lip mask. My lips look fresh and bright once I wake up.

I received the John Frieda Frizz Ease® Extra Strength Serum during the 2024 Best in Beauty Event. Using the serum for the last 2 weeks has made my hair glossy. When I dry my hair after washing it, I have quite a lot of frizz on the top which makes my hair look all over the place.You only need a small amount of serum to reduce frizz and give your hair a healthy & glossy look. I use the serum just before I start to blowdry. For anyone that has dry hair, I would recommend using the serum during Winter because it gives a shiny lift.

I received the Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil during the 2024 Best in Beauty event. I was really excited to use this as part of my daily skincare. Once I came home from work/event, I used this as step 1 to remove all makeup. It was very soft on my face and didn't react at all. Unfortunately, I felt that it didn't remove all makeup (even minimal makeup). I had to follow up by using a second cleansing oil to remove all impurities. I don't think I will be purchasing this in the future.

I received the Dermal Therapy Skin Lotion during the 2024 Best in Beauty event. All I have to say is that this cream was an absolute lifesaver for my skin! Due to the change in weather over the past couple of weeks, my skin has been super dry and flaky. I am a massive fan Dermal Therapy so when I started using the lotion, I wasn't surprised by the results. I have been using it twice a day and my skin looks hydrated and healthy. It doesn't feel sticky and there is no fragrance (which is a plus!) Highly recommend this product!

I received the Remington hairdryer as part of the 2024 Best in Beauty award. I have used this a couple of times now and I do love that this comes with 4 styling attachments. For me, I look at a product that is going to not just dry my hair but also the amount of time it's going to take to dry. The hairdryer definitely gave more volume and it felt that it wasn't burning my hair. Once it dried, my hair was soft. However, it took me 30 mins to completely dry my hair. I think this was doing really well for people who have short to medium hair length.

The Remington One Straight & Curl Styler is a great tool for anyone looking for versatility in their hair styling routine. It's convenient, making it a great choice for anyone who want to achieve both sleek & straight hair and amazing curls. Since receiving it during BH Best in Beauty 2024 event, I have used it a number of times (both for work & night events). I do have to thank the Remington girls at the BH event for showing me how to achieve lasting curls! Using it at 150C, I section my hair give it a spray and keep the hair in the barrel for at least 10 seconds. The curls stayed during the day and curls started to loosen around the 3rd day. I actually found it very easy to use on my long hair. I also want to point out the cover for the barrels so you don't burn yourself! Using it as a straightener was really fast and super easy.

Thank you to BeautyHeaven for inviting me to be part of the Best in Beauty event 2024. This was a no brainer for me to give the Dermal Therapy Original Lip Balm a 5/5. I have been using this product for a while now and has been a savour for my lips during Winter and seasonal changes. The moment I feel that my lips are dry, I pop this on either during the day or overnight and fixes it up. For anyone that suffers from super dry lips during the middle of winter, put this on as an overnight lip mask and you will see a difference the next day. Definitely will recommend anyone to try this lip balm.

I came across this brand during Covid as I was revamping my skincare routine. Innisfree have a range of sheet masks that I was using in the past and have worked well on my skin so when my friend recommended the Jeju Orchid Enriched Cream, I was excited to try it. It's a daily cream with Hyaluronic Acid that claims to brighten and smooth the skin. I am on my 3rd bottle of the cream and I can honestly say that it does what it says! My skin looks brighter (especially under my eyes). My cheeks now feel and look glowy and the feel of it is definitely smooth. I really loved how it did its magic during Winter and kept my skin hydrated. If you are on a budget, I do recommend purchasing this product during sales (my go-to is Lila Beauty or Adore Beauty).

I received this as part of BH's Best in Beauty Event. In the past, I have always used mineral foundation / powder foundation so i was really looking forward to trialling out the Nude by Nature Natural Mineral Cover Blemish Control Foundation. The rep at the event gave the perfect match for my skintone. When using it on my face, I noticed how smooth it went on my cheeks. It blended in so well with my skin tone instantly and felt weightless (less cakey). I also loved how a small amount was needed to cover dark spots around the chin. When I used it outdoors, I felt that the foundation stayed on for a couple of hours. However, during the afternoon, I found that the foundation started going all over my shirt at work. I note that using a mattte finish powder would have prevented the foundation from transferring on clothes. Overall, I enjoyed the foundation due to its perfect colour match and will still continue to use it.
