About me

I am retired. My interests are playing golf, gardening, fashion, makeup and personal care products. I love to experiment with new products. Skincare: Being in the mature age bracket, my skin tends to be dry and a little bit sensitive. My favourite moisturisers at the moment are - La Roche-Posay Toleriane Rosaliac AR, which is also great for reducing redness. I also am using the Hemptuary Hemp Infused Moisturiser as well as Dr Lewinn's Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Plumping Gel. The serums I like to use are - Elizabeth Arden's Ceramide Capsules, Antipodes Eve Bio-Retinol Serum and Natio Ageless Plumping Renewal Serum. Cleanser: I use Endota Organics Cleansing Milk which is a cream cleanser that I rinse off with water. I follow this with a micellar water on a cotton pad. I use an exfoliating cleanser at least once a week. Makeup: I don't use a lot of makeup. I typically use Revlon Colorstay Prep & Protect SPF25 either on its own or with the Revlon Colorstay Longwear Makeup over the top. This works well for me and helps protect my skin from the sun. I sometimes wear eyeshadow, blusher and concealer. I alway wear Revlon Colorstay Brow Pencil as I have next to no eyebrows due to chemotherapy treatment. Hands and Nails: My hands tend to get very dry so I am always using hand cream. My nails are strong and fast growing. I do my own manicure and use mostly a clear polish. My favourite hand creams are: L'Occitane Very Dry Skin Intensive Hand Balm, Working Hands and Dermal Hand Cream.
