I have very fine straight hair that I usually wear up because it lacks volume, so this styling tool is a godsend. The paddle brush is the tool I use most because it's great for drying hair. My favourite tool is the smaller round brush attachment. I struggle to get my hair to hold a curl, but the small round brush is great for curls! I'm really fond of the cool dry option to finish. I find it helps smooth my hair strands for a sleek, polished healthy hair look. I also love that it comes in a carry case where you can store all the attachments and tool in one spot. I did find a couple of cons though. The click lock system could be better. There were a few times I thought my attachment was properly locked but it came off while I was styling so I had to stop and reattach. I also found the small brush didn't really slide through my hair very well. It's maybe just a matter of me practicing a bit more. Overall I think it's a great styling tool for the price and something that would be great for people with all hair types - whether straight, curly, thick, fine... there's something for everyone with this hairstyling tool.

I received this hair mask to trial along with the shampoo and conditioner and l love all three. I tried the mask along with the shampoo and conditioner as well as separately with a different shampoo and conditioner, so if I had to choose only one of the three, I would choose this as it works just as well with or without the companion products. I’ve used Olaplex before, but I have to say that this blows Olaplex out of the water. It seriously smooths hair from first use and just generally improves hair in terms of appearance and manageability. Whether you colour your hair, heat style regularly or do neither, ANY hair is going to look so much better after using this. It’s pretty amazing stuff. But as I said with the shampoo and conditioner, the smell leaves much to be desired. I find all Toni & Guy products smell… like a guy. A guy wearing cheap cologne. Even my husband dislikes the smell and he IS a guy, but I am willing to overlook that as it’s such a great product.

This shampoo and conditioner duo is outstanding, I’ve never raved about any Toni & Guy product before and have actually found them to be a pretty average brand, but this must be their hero product because it’s better than Olaplex, in my opinion. It seriously smooths hair from first use. Whether you colour or heat style your hair, and even if you do neither of those things, this will make your hair smooth and fabulous. I do have an issue with the smell. I don’t like it at all. It smells like cheap men’s cologne and that’s the only reason I don’t give it five stars because if there’s anything I don’t like about the product, I can’t give it top marks. I hate the smell, but I would still actually repurchase the shampoo and conditioner anyway because it’s THAT good.

I’m so impressed with this shampoo. I have a lot of those wispy little short hairs at the crown and this shampoo has really helped to smooth them. As for the rest of my hair, this shampoo has been probably the best I’ve ever used for smoothing and just generally making my hair feel and look great. My husband and my daughter have both used it as well. My daughter is 5 and I noticed after using this shampoo that her hair was much more manageable. My husband also commented that he liked this shampoo because it made his hair feel smooth, so that’s the takeaway - this shampoo is aces at making hair smooth and manageable. As much as I love this shampoo for how it makes my hair look and feel, I do have a bit of an issue with the smell. It smells like cheap men’s cologne. If not for that, it would be a perfect product.

This would not be my go-to nighttime moisturiser because I just don’t find it hydrating enough. As soon as I put it on, I feel like I need another layer of hydration. That being said, it’s a very decent product. It contains B3, which is otherwise known as niacinamide and will improve the overall appearance of skin over time. I recently read an article with a skincare specialist who recommended if you want to simplify your skincare routine but still get great results, focus on the ABCs - vitamin A (retinol), vitamin B (niacinamide), and vitamin C. This moisturiser does tick the box for vitamin B, but I find it more suitable for daytime use than for nighttime and I just prefer to get my vitamin B from a serum rather than a cream.

My skin tends to become quite dry in winter so I am always interested in finding a good moisturiser at any price point, but especially a good budget moisturiser. I found this moisturiser does the trick nicely. It’s very much no frills, but there is nothing wrong with that. No fragrance to speak of, basic white cream, does leave a bit of greasy feeling but not unbearable. If you are like me and tend to get dry skin often, or maybe if you use a retinol product and are looking for something to combat the dryness that often occurs with retinol use, this is very much worth giving a try.

This is the one beauty product that REALLY intimidates me. It’s basically a cute version of a straight razor and I do not have the skill at this stage to comfortably use it for more than anxiously sneaking up on the odd errant eyebrow hair. However, I will keep at it, watch some more tutorials and hopefully build up the courage to finally defuzz my pale blonde hair covered face. I have to say though, these little razors really are quite cute. They’re comfortable in the hand, but I don’t feel like I’ve found the right grip yet so I’ll need to keep practicing - maybe on an orange until I build up some confidence.

I have to start by saying I love balms! They aren’t for everyone, but if you’re a fan of balms, you’re going to love this one. I love opening a brand new jar of balm and seeing that perfectly smooth, shiny surface. Not only is this balm perfectly shiny and smooth, it has a beautiful green colour to it. You do have to really use some pressure to scoop up some of the balm. I find it’s easiest to use firm pressure with my second finger, making a circular groove around the inside of the jar. Then using the warmth of my hands to soften the balm, I can apply it wherever I need to. My legs are quite dry at the moment so I’m using this balm all over my legs. It’s not at all greasy and feels really soothing. This balm does have a slight scent that reminds me just a little bit of Eve Lom cleansing balm, which is my absolute favourite. However, this fragrance is much, much lighter. This is the second Hemptuary product I’ve tried and I’ve enjoyed both.

This eye serum came to me at exactly the right time as I’d just run out of my regular eye treatment. My biggest concern lately has been dark circles, thanks to hay fever. I was really hoping this would help with that. Unfortunately, it didn’t. No change in the dark circles, but I do enjoy the applicator. It reminds me of a Lancome eye treatment I’ve used before. That metal bulb applicator is so soothing and is a really pleasurable way to apply. Dark circles aside, I do find this serum hydrating and it does soften the expression lines around my eyes. As far as long term results, only time will tell. But I think for the price point, this eye serum is a daily indulgence at a budget friendly price and well worth trying.

I used to make the mistake of over exfoliation. I’m trying to find the right balance, so at the moment I’m limiting myself to two times per week as that seems to be working well for me. At that rate of usage, this tube should last me forever! It’s a massive tube of cleanser. It’s a white coloured cream with a bit of a grainy feel. I use a very light touch to massage it around and then rinse. Once I dry my face, I really need to crack on with the rest of my skin care routine - toner, serum and definitely a moisturiser. This cleanser does leave my skin feeling a bit parched. To be honest, given the size of this tube and the fact that I’m only using it twice a week so I have to have a mild cleanser to use the other five days, I probably would not buy this product.
