Let me start by saying what a wonderful colour range Maybelline has put together for us fair skinned Beauties. True Ivory was the shade that I selected and let me tell you, it really is a true ivory. In fact, for the first time in life, the lightest shade in a collection is too pale for me (I’ve started going for walks at lunch time) but I’ll be using it as a mixing agent for now and my go-to in Winter. If you’re a pale skinned lady and purchasing True Ivory you can expect a beautiful, neutral toned and soft shade to complement the real colour of your skin Moving onto the packaging and performance of the product, the glass bottle features a pump dispenser (great) and white lid (not so great) which holds a high coverage, long-lasting, clean textured and scented, mattifying foundation that truly lasts, even through your evening exercise routine. Love it! I will most definitely be purchasing this product again.

With it's dark and weighted little glass bottle,  Trilogy's Rosapene Radiance Serum has been an elegant amd sensory addition to my skincare routine Just one push of it's quick and convenient pump dispenser and my pupils practically dilated with excitement over the fresh and feminine scent of rosehip. Oh my, I was instantly hooked! It is, without a doubt, the perfumed skin care product I have ever tried. The pump dispensing the perfect amount of serum to just cover my face and decollage without any wastage, and I must say, after applying this product at least once a day for most of May, the results have been quite impressive Trilogy's Rosapene Radiance Serum is doing what it says. My skin is definitely more radiant and refreshed, hydrated, and smooth and soft to touch. Overall, I have been so impressed by the scent (oh, the scent!), performance and natural qualities of this product that I have already gone on to spend an additional $90 on Trilogy's skincare range and plan to extend my collection further over the coming weeks. I am making the full switch.

First comes first – the packaging. Whilst the heavy, glass, squoval glass with chrome green lid looks and feels modern, beautiful and luxurious, like a product you would find in a high-end day spa, I would have much preferred squeeze the contents in the palm of my hand from a tube. I’m not a big fan of dunking my fingers into products and getting it trapped under my nails, especially when it’s thick and dark The clay itself has an unexpectedly fresh scent, and with the consistency of Nutella, it spread quite easily across the face. Initially, I went a bit heavy on the product but after a couple of goes, I realised that you really can comfortably wear the mask quite thin After waiting 10-15mins for the mask to dry, it is easily removed with cold water. I would recommend rinsing it off in the shower, though, as the water will run grey and tends to get all over the basin! Now, did it do what it said on the box? After using it for just more than a month, I still really can’t be sure. Let’s say.. partially. My skin did feel very clean and smooth afterwards but I don’t think I notice any brightening. Then again, I’m 29 so my skin isn’t exactly dull. In fact, whilst the smoothness of my skin truly was remarkable, I think it may have even felt a little drier and tighter because of it. Not great. This is in contrast to the amazing results reported by my 59 year old dry skinned mother and 24 year old intensely oily skinned sister who both used the other two products in the range (Purify + Mattify and Exfoliate + Smooth). Perhaps the charcoal mask’s suitability to normal skin and its ambiguous promises make the results difficult to measure? All in all, wearing a clay mask every couple of days was a really treat but would I purchase this particular product again? Probably not. Would I recommend the other two products in the range to people with dry or oily skin? Absolutely.

Let me start with a brief description of my hair and scalp - incredibly thick, curly and course natural brown hair with blonde balayage and a dry scalp. Based on my hair type and lazy yet intolerant personality, I enjoy any shampoo that featured simple, easy to open packaging, that lathers generously, cleans thoroughly and rinses quickly, without leaving my hair feel stripped, chemically and unmanageable. This Pantene colour protection shampoo meets all of my requirements with a simple, sleek and sophisticated packagig with a pop-up lid and top-down storage, a pleasant scent, a silky and sudsy lather in seconds that cleaned in just one wash and fast to rinse. It left my hair feeling soft, tangle free and primed for easy conditioner application. In regards to my scalp, I didn't notice this shampoo causing any additional flaking or irritation. I plan to alternate between this product and my usual anti-dandruff shampoo to rejuvenate my hair a couple of days after medicating my scalp which can be quite harsh and drying.

Like many other Beauties, I've been avoiding Pantene products for years based on the advice of various hairdressers but after using the 3 Minute Miracle Shampoo & Conditioner, I can't help but think that their negative opinions are totally unwarranted. This conditioner was such a surprise! The actual product inside looks, smells and feels like any other supermarket level conditioner but it works wonders! My natural, coarse and curly brunette hair with blonde balayage is genuinely silkier and smoother than it has been in a while. I cant say I've noticed much extra shine but then again, my hair is naturally dry. What I am very impressed by, however, is how well my curls are forming despite being a mere $8 non-curly hair specific conditioner. That what I call great value for money! I will definitely be splicing this conditioner into my hair care routine. Well done Pantene for making this product!

L'Oréal Nude Magique Cushion is an excellent everyday foundation for work, shopping or touch ups on the go. The first thing I noticed is this little number's soft French pink and metallic packaging. Its clever internal compartments keep the product sealed and the foundation cushion separate to the applicator, whilst still fitting perfectly within my small handbag. As always, I got this foundation in the lightest shade, Porcelain, which complements the natural pigments in my skin beautifully. The tone is just right - not too pink and not too yellow. The formula is comfortable, lightweight and buildable. The application is quick and easy (it's the perfect foundation for work) but I found I needed to dab the cushion at least five times to get my skin looking how I want it. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Just my personal preference. I also felt the need to apply a moisturiser as a base to prevent the applicator dragging and a light dusting of powder to finish off. There's something very 1950s chic about the whole process. It's really quite a pleasurable experience. I will definitely continue to use this product as I've been looking for something to replace my BB cream ritual. The coverage, consistency and longevity of Magique Cushion is far better yet takes the same amount of time to slap on as I'm running out the door. Five stars! Thanks BH!

Unscrew the lid and squeeze to find yourself with a handful of jelly... This shampoo is so unusual but strangely so much fun! Bain Therapiste's jelly like texture is suprisingly lightweight, and thanks to Soin Premiere, it's super spreadable. The product initially seems water based like a gel but works up into a thick and creamy lather quickly. I noticed during rinsing that the hair felt clean and quite conditioned, lacking that awful snap-happy squeaky clean feeling. I decided not to follow up with conditioner this time around to let the product speak for itself. My curls are a little frizzy in places but are fairly well defined considering. What is amazing however, is the volume and shine. You'd never know that I skipped a step! Love Kerastase!

I must say that before now, the concept of a 'pre-shampoo' was unfamiliar to me but I'd do it again and again! By partially precleaning and preconditioning the hair, the shampooing phase became a cinch, with the product being so much easier to work into my thick and curly hair. I also like that you can simply apply the product and tend to other things for a couple of minutes before rinsing out. Maybe I'm just lazy but I find that so much more appealing than going to the effort of double shampooing! The gorgeous emerald green packaging was only let down by the twist top lid which isn't much fun in the shower. The smell is pleasant and the results brilliant. Now on to review Bain Therapiste.

Mac Mineralize Skinfinish is by far the most wonderful powder ever created. This powder feels light and luxuriously soft. I just love its natural glowy finish. Beauties, I highly recommend you grab this one xx
