I'm a big Natio fan so whenever it is on special I stock up (not that it is particularly expensive). I've also made my UK mum a big fan so she is always after me to buy her more! This is definitely a cream not a lotion so if you like a lighter texture this may not be for you. I usually do prefer a lotion on my mature, combination skin but I am enjoying using this. As with most Natio products it has a nice smell but not overpowering. The cream absorbs quite quickly and I find it leaves my skin feeling hydrated all day. It does have SPF 15 but when I remember I top it up with a higher factor sunscreen, it would be nice if this was higher but that may be to do with manufacturing limitations. I'm not sure I've seen improvements to my skin but I'm sure it is prevent deterioration due to dehydration and sun damage. I don't have sensitive skin but I think with its ingredients it should be find for those who do. As mentioned, I've enjoyed using it and would definitely repurchase.

I'm a big Natio fan and this is just one of the many products of theirs that I have used. I like that they are Australian and their brand values. They are also usually reasonably priced. I think I have a slightly older version of this with a flat top but otherwise it seems to be identical. It has a lovely smell and like most deodorants is a clear liquid. It dries quite quickly (by the time I've finished cleaning my teeth) and I haven't noticed any residue on my skin or clothes. The roller ball is a good size and it is easy to apply the appropriate amount. This obviously doesn't prevent sweating and I find it works best on cooler days or when I am less active. In hot weather or on active days I do find I can end up smelling a bit sweaty. I therefore use another deodorant for those times and save this for lazy days. I wouldn't probably repurchase this simply because I often am active and it would be easier to have a product that I could use whatever the weather or my activity levels. However, if you don't sweat much then I think it could be great for you.

Thanks BH and Toni & Guy for the chance to try this. My hair is shoulder length so just right for this. I always have trouble keeping my hair up with anything other than hair ties so was interested to see if this would work for me. I have plenty of hair but it is very fine so accessories usually just slide right out. I followed the instructions for this (clear and easy to follow) and I found it stayed really well in my hair. During recent humidity it has been lovely keeping my hair off my neck. I definitely need to practice using this as I’ve managed to get an effective bun but not a great looking one - this may be because of my fine hair not covering the roller well. If my hair were thicker or a bit longer I don’t think this would be a problem. I’m looking forward to finding the best way to use it for my hair and if using products might help. I recommend this for anyone whose hair is long enough but luckily at its price point it’s not a big outlay if your hair isn’t long enough (yet).

I've been an on-off user of Olay (in its various names) over the years so I was happy to trial this. Funnily enough, the moisturiser I was using before receiving this to trial was the unscented version of it! Both versions are made in Thailand. I always find Olay (and some other brands) annoying because, while you always get the advertised volume and they do show the actual pot size on the packaging, the box implies you are getting more than you do (a marketing ploy). However, of course it is what's inside that counts. The translucent red pot has a silver screw lid and has a internal 'lid' - I threw that away as it was a pain to take off each time. Again, the pot is much bigger than the actual contents (and again, a marketing ploy so your eyes think you get more.) The cream itself is thick and white with a pleasant smell. It is rich and smooth and is easy to apply over your serum. It absorbs quickly without leaving too much of a greasy feel, and that soon disappears. My skin is mature combination with no sensitivity. I've used the cream morning and night since I received it although normally I use a separate day and night cream. It is designed to be used twice a day but some people may find it a little heavy for day use. The expected results are day 1 - less visible pores, day 14 noticeably firmer skin, day 28 visibly reduces lines and wrinkles. I can't really say I've noticed these particular effects but overall my skin does look nice and healthy. I think it may also be slightly firmer. My skin definitely feels hydrated, soft and smooth which are the 'proven' results. I would definitely buy this again and concentrate on my serum for more targeted benefits. I haven't noticed any difference between the scented and unscented versions other than the scent. Be aware while Olay says it does not test on animals, it does sell in countries where government mandated testing is required.

I received this to try along with the shampoo at the Best in Beauty event. I’ve managed to use it a few times on my mature fine hair, I don’t wash my hair every day but you can use this daily. This white conditioner is not as thick as some I’ve used but seems to coat the hair well when applied. It has a nice lemony smell although not so strong as to bother you unless you’re very sensitive. You leave it on for a minute then rinse off. It does rinse away nicely and leaves my wet hair feeling conditioned. Due to the short review period I haven’t seen a huge improvement in my hair’s condition, especially with the frizziness (it doesn’t necessarily claim to help this) but my hair does feel nice and soft and I hope with continued use I will see more effect. It is reasonably priced so well worth trying if your hair “fits the brief”.

We received this at the Best in Beauty event to trial and review. As with all Revlon products it is good quality and effective. I received the 002 Light shade and have been using it under the Illuminance Glow Filter (same shade). I don't usually use a concealer (probably laziness rather than that I don't need one) so I have been experimenting a bit to get the best results. I dab the dove foot applicator on the areas I think need it (under eyes although this isn't a big problem area) and on a few blemishes and blend it in. I find that blending it in too much can reduce the coverage so I am still looking for the best way to use it. I need to ensure the edges are well blended but do find it effective at covering the problem areas. I'm not sure I am dedicated enough to use this all the time but I am enjoying improving the look of my skin so I recommend this product.

This is an updated review - this is a combination curler straightener, which is quite unusual (does anyone else make one?). You can (with practice) make curls with a straightener however this one actually has both plates and a curling barrel in the one piece. It’s quite a heavy tool so will be hard work if you have lots of thick hair. The curling barrel is in two parts which lock together to curl but separate to reveal plates for straightening with plastic covers. I originally found it a bit fiddly to get the appropriate bit into position to lock it in place but practice has helped. I’m not a big user of hair styling tools but I’ve given this as good a test as I can. My hair is fine with a very slight wave, about shoulder length and is coloured/highlighted over grey. The styler heats up quickly but it would be useful if it had a stand or hanging loop for when it is cooling down. It has a few temperature settings and you can straighten with the plates and curl using either the plates or the barrel. I’ve straightened and curled with the barrel but found curling using the plates to be more difficult. I have practised that so I am better now however I tend to stick to curling with the barrel. The barrel is not tapered so you vary the curl by spreading out your hair along the barrel or keeping it close for tighter curls. A handy glove lets you hold the hot barrel if you need to. I do recommend this to anyone who is looking for a versatile hair tool although you need to take the weight into consideration.

Thank you BH and Remington for the Best in Beauty event product (generous as ever). This rose gold and grey dryer is a nice weight and comes with 4 attachments. I've tried them all although normally I only use some of them now and then. The dryer by itself gives a nice amount of heat and speed so lets me dry my hair quickly when I need to. I found using the attachments slows down the process. My hair is frizzy so the concentrator and flyaway tamer are useful for getting this under control. My hair is curly (ish) when wet but loses this when I dry it so my favourite attachment is the gentle drying diffuser, it lets me retain that slight curl. I do this when I have a bit more time as it does take longer - for me it is certainly worth the effort, I just have to get used to it. I haven't really worked out how to use the curl defining diffuser yet. More practice required! Overall this is a really nice hair dryer with useful attachments. I also like that it comes with a bag to keep the attachments in. I am going to get a lot of use out of this so thank you very much BH/Remington.

We were given this at the Best in Beauty event to trial. Lonvitalite is not a company I've heard of before. They are an Australian brand who have been around since 2009. This Platinum roller is easy to use, and while I haven't had it long enough to see any visible effects, it is certainly relaxing to use. I've tried it both on dry skin and with moisturiser, I think I prefer it with the latter as you just have to be a bit more gentle with dry skin. It feels nice and cool on the skin and you could even put it (or your lotion) in the fridge beforehand to get even more cooling effect. Just be sure to clean and dry it after. It comes in a nice box although a storage bag would be even better. This is not a cheap product so this has been a lovely way to trial something I'd not normally buy. I need to get myself into the habit of using it every day so I can really see if it works.

I received this at the Best in Beauty event. Revlon is a company that has been around for years and always produces good products. This is my first product in their skin coverage range and it is nice to start with a light product. My skin is mature combination with visible pores around my nose and chin. I am not a big user of skin coverage products so I have been starting small with this. I was matched to the 002 Light colour which does seem to be right for me. The Glow Filter comes in a glass bottle with a sponge applicator, I'm not sure how good this will be as I reach the bottom of the bottle. I usually dab it over my face then blend with my fingers. It gives a nice light cover which looks natural. It does tend to gather in my pores a bit so I need to pay attention to blending there. It feels nice and light on my skin and is easy to remove. I feel my skin looks more even and youthful wearing this although I'm still working on getting the best effect. This may also encourage me to try other skin coverage products.
