I have already submitted this review however it asking me to submit again. I recently had the opportunity to trial this styler set and I was impressed. I have thin hair that is quite limp so anything designed to give extra volume is always a win for me! I already use a round bristle blow dry brush so I was excited to see how this compared. All I can say is that if you have fine hair the this set is an absolute game changer. I started off with wet hair and used the drying concentrator to roughly dry my hair. I then sectioned off my hair and trialled the root boost attachment which worked really well to add volume at the root. I also tried each of the round attachments and found they all gave good volume, dried my hair quicker than any other blow dry brush I had used and with the inclusion of the ceramic plates I definitely noticed that my hair was smoother with less flyaways, especially when finishing off with the cool shot to set my style. I did try and do some loose curls with the 25mm round brush with little success but I think that was purely user in experience! lol I need to watch a few YouTube videos to learn how to do that. I also used the firm paddle brush on my daughter who has curly hair and the results were lovely. It gave a really smooth and shiny natural blow wave effect which she loved and was super quick. My only complaint is that the attachments get really hot and even doing a shot of cold before changing out the heads they were still so hot so I had to use a towel to swap them out so just be careful not to burn yourself. Overall a great product, at a reasonable price point. I also really liked the case that it came in which makes it easy to store and travel with. I would choose this one over others I have used on the market as it dries the hair quicker, added the most volume I’ve ever been able to achieve and provided a smoother result.

I have been using this conditioner along with the matching shampoo for almost a month. I have fine, flat hair that gets very oily at the roots. When used with the shampoo I found this conditioner kept my hair feeling fresh, clean, shiny and manageable without being weighed down or flat. Typically if I wash my hair in the morning, it is oily by night time. With this pairing of shampoo and conditioner I felt my hair was in better condition and didn’t get as oily as quickly, meaning I could go a little longer between washes and didn’t need to use dry shampoo. It also made blow drying after a breeze and as the conditioner is light weight I found the volume held much better without the need for lots of styling products which is what I normally need. A great product that’s good value for money. I will continue to use.

I used this shampoo in conjunction with the matching conditioner. For context my hair is mid to long in length, super fine and tends to be very oily. When I use the wrong shampoo my hair feels oily still even after washing it. I found this shampoo to be great value for money and when doing a double wash every second day my hair felt clean and it kept the oil at bay. The pump pack is convienient and you get a huge amount of product for your money. The shampoo it’s self lathers well and really cleans the hair without leaving it knotty.

The age perfect cell renewal midnight serum is an antioxidant recovery complex that claims to wake up new cells to improve skin radiance and firmness. I trialled this product for over a month and I quite liked it. The serum itself was a yellowy colour which I felt like gave my skin an instant glow. I also found it to be nicely hydrating. Unfortunately I didn’t notice an improvement in firmness and the radiance seemed to be transient, so it was radiant but only while I had it on. The serum was thin and you only need a very little bit to spread over your face and neck so the product will last a long time. It worked really well during the day layers under my other skin care and make up. It also worked well layered with my night time products. I’m not sure if I had a defective bottle but it was really hard to get the product up into the little pipette which was strange. Overall I really enjoyed using this serum and will continue to use it all up. I probably wouldn’t repurchase as I prefer products that give me a bit more bang for my buck so I tend to stick with cosmeceutical skin care.

I recently had the opportunity to trial this product through BH. It seemed like fate because I had recently been researching for a straightening brush but I had been told with my longish thin hair that they aren’t ideal. I’ll level with you, they aren’t the best option for me and I won’t be throwing away my straightener anytime soon. Having said that, I found this brush to be a really great top up tool for already styled hair. I would straighten my hair in the morning, go to work then head to the gym or for a run after. Coming home I would end up with the dreaded frizz and also mark from my pony tail so this little beauty was perfect at smoothing things back down again before heading out to drinks with the girls. I also trialled this on my daughters, one has short thick hair and the other has medium long curly hair. For the thick hair it gave a nice and quick smoothing effect and worked great. As the hair is thick and straight on its own it doesn’t normally require much styling (wish my hair was like that) so this just added a nice bit of polish. For my daughter with fine curly hair, it took about 15 minutes and the effect was like getting a blow wave. There was still a little texture and wave but it was super shiny and smooth and in much less time than it would take to blow dry! So it worked great for her too. My only issue was that the charge only lasts around 20-25mins so it pretty much needs to be charged after every 1 to 2 uses. Which I find annoying, especially since I have other small rechargeable devices that can last all night! Overall I really liked it. It was quick and convenient as well as worked for a range of hair types and lengths. For me I find it best for a quick touch up so I still need my straighter, for thick straight hair it would def be my go to and I loved it for giving a blow dried effect on curly hair. I think for curly girls and guys it could be a real game changer in terms of helping prolong a good blow dry.

I have been a fan of gradual tanning moisturisers since they first hit our shelves many years ago! This Tan comes in a large tube and is quite a rich consistency. It does take a little while to dry down but it is super hydrating and my legs felt fabulous afterwards. I will note that the scent of this one is pretty strong. It's a coconut type scent which takes me back to being 18 and drinking the Barcardi imitiation white rum! Which is not a pleasant memory lol, so just be aware if coconut is not your jam. I would say that within 12 hours of the first application I began to notice a subtle colour. You do have to be careful around the ankles and knees as it tends to cling to these areas (I did a full body scrub beforehand and applied a little regular moisturiser over these areas as they tend to be trouble spots for me. 3 days in a row of application gave me a really nice, yet subtle glow. My flakey wintery legs were no longer! My skin felt super hydrated and it did indeed look better. The product says that to notice a firming of skin you need to use for at least 7 days. For me I would not use for that many days in a row as I feel the colour may start to look a little fake by then so I can't judge it's ability to reduce cellulite. Although once tanned and hydrated my skin did look better and firmer to the eye. I recommend this for people who want a subtle colour or to top up a natural tan. It's a really lovely hydrating product.

John Plunketts Super Bright is an exfoliating skin brightener with 25% glycolic acid. It's called a 'glyco peel serum' but rest assured that it will not make your skin peel like a traditional in salon peel! Typically I would use a product like this for a few months before reviewing but the product claims 'laser-like resurfacing' with overnight results. It aims to 'Visibly reduce pores, reduce fine lines and surface discolouration'. Now I have been an avid user of glycolic acid for quite a few years now, however I have never used a 'salon strength' product at home (previously the highest strength I used at home was 15%). The glycolic acid is buffered with Lactokine and aloe vera to avoid irratation. I followed the instructions which say to use 1 pump at night after cleansing, avoiding the eye area and allowing to dry before applying moisturiser. If you have used glycolic before then you know to expect a light tingling sensation, honestly it was a lightly stingy but nothing dramatic and it passed within a few minutes. Once dry it left a shiny film over the skin, which I assume is from the aloe vera. I think put my moisturiser on which kinda reactivated the solution and made it sting a little again. After a few minutes it was fine. So did I wake up with 'refreshed, smoother skin, just like laser resurfacing or a mini facelift?'........ahhhh no I did not. In fact I actually noticed no real difference, perhaps my skin was slightly brighter than it had been?! Whilst I didn't notice visible overnight results like it promised on the first use, the science behind the ingredients is solid so I will be giving it another go. However I would caution against using it 1-2 times a week. I think once a fortnight or once a month is plenty, particularly if you use other products in your routine that chemically resurface or exfoliate the skin (eg retinol, AHA's, BHA's). Note that the packaging does state not to use other exfoliating products 2 days either side of this treatment.

This sensitive skin therapy moisturiser from Dermal therapy is a great all round moisturiser that works for the whole family. It comes in a pump action bottle which is super convenient with 250ml of product. I prefer to use basic, unfragranced moisturisers on my body and this one hits the mark. It claims to sooth, protect and moisturise will increasing skin hydration by up to 50%. I feel it delivers in all aspects! The skin on my body is incredibly dry and flaky, particulary my legs which tend to get itchy too. I found after using for a few days in a row (straight after showering), there was a big difference in my skins hydration levels and my legs finally felt smooth again. I like that it is non irritating and that it absorbs quickly so I'm not waiting around for ages waiting for it to dry so that I can get dressed! Overall this moisturiser is affordable and effective so I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great body moisturiser.

I have seen Glow Lab about recently but this is the first time I have used one of their products. This moistursier comes in a 100ml tube and has a light, almost botanical like scent. PROS: *absorbs quickly *works well layered with other skincare *very affordable *readily accessible *dermatologically tested *lightweight *natural ingredients *Ph balanced= non irritating *antioxidant rich *cruelty free CONS: *May not be hydrating enough for drier skin types Overall this is a really decent moisturiser if you are looking for something natural, lightweight and cruelty free. For me personally, I prefer a moisturiser during the day that has spf and at night time I prefer something a little bit more heavy duty so this isn't a product that I would be regularly reaching for. However it was definitely soothing and gently hydrating. I think it's a great product for teens or for people with a really simple skincare routine. It would work really well for those with oily skin too.
