I was pleasantly surprised when I received a full size tube of this as a ‘sample’ with my Rewards Room order, so thank you BH so much!! I was even more pleasantly surprised when I used this for the first time, and LOVED it. You only need the smallest amount, and it absorbs super quickly. This eye cream doesn’t include any fragrance, which is a major plus for me. I’ve noticed my eye area has been less dry, and I think it’s even been a bit brighter. I’ll definitely be purchasing this on my own when I run out of it!

Thanks BH for the fantastic opportunity to try this product. I am in LOVE with this mascara. I love the purple packaging it comes in, it makes it super easy to find amongst all my other make-up. I don’t normally try new mascaras because I find it so hard to find one that works for me, so I didn’t have high hopes starting this trial. I was blown away by the results though. This mascara definitely lengthened my lashes, and kept them curled all day long. It’s not water proof, but as my eyes were watering and I rubbed them (I totally forgot I was wearing mascara), I checked the nearest mirror expecting to be a mess, but it was nowhere near as bad as I thought. I didn’t notice a scent to the mascara, so that’s always a plus. I definitely recommend this mascara, and I’ll be repurchasing in the future, this might even become my new holy grail!

I had high expectations for this conditioner after falling in love with its matching shampoo, and it definitely did not disappoint. There’s only one thing I had a problem with, and that was the consistency of the product. I like conditioners that are quite thick and this one felt a little watery/runny. If you don’t mind that, then this is a perfect conditioner. It has the same sturdy lid/cap as the shampoo bottle (as well as the bright pink packaging, which I loved!). Unlike the shampoo though, the scent is less noticeable. I also found that I could rinse this conditioner out more easily (maybe due to the thinner consistency). However it still left my hair super soft, and although it didn’t make my hair easier to untangle after washing (I have super knotty hair), I don’t think it created any more knots. Overall, this is a great conditioner so if you’re considering trying this, definitely give it a go!

Thank you so much BH for allowing me to participate in this Trial Team, thanks to you guys, I’ve found my new favourite shampoo! The first thing I loved about this product was the colour of the packaging, a bright pink bottle. And I love the actual packaging, as well. The cap/lid feels a lot sturdier than other shampoo bottles. I’m not worried that it’s going to break if I accidentally drop it, or knock it against something too hard. It smells absolutely amazing too, I can’t pick the scent exactly, but it’s not overpowering, and it leaves your hair smelling really clean. You also only need a small amount of product, as a little goes a long way, and even a small amount works up a great lather. I have oily hair, so normally I have to wash my hair around 4 times each week, with this shampoo though I can get away with washing it a minimum of 2 times a week (depending on where I have to go that week). There is not a single thing I dislike about this product, so I’d recommend it to absolutely everyone!

Thanks to Beautyheaven I was lucky enough to be able to trial 3 shades of these lipsticks (a red, a brown and a pinky-coral). I’ll start with the positives. These lipsticks smell absolutely delicious, that was definitely my favourite thing about these. The smell reminds me of a high end luxury moisturiser. I also love how nice these feel on the lips, they feel really smooth and moisturizing, which is rare for a ‘matte’ lipstick. However, that brings me to the end of things I liked about this lipstick, and to the beginning of the problems. These are not matte lipsticks. They did not go on matte for me, and they didn’t ‘dry’ to a matte finish either. They are also very sheer and patchy. I had to use a few coats just to get the colour even on my lips (especially with the red shade). The final problem I had was with the packaging. I don’t know if I just got unlucky, but 2 of the 3 lipsticks do not stay closed properly. I don’t know why, but they need to be stored upright, so they don’t lose their caps stay on. In my opinion, if you want a moisturizing, sheer lipstick, these will suffice. If you’re looking for a true matte though, look elsewhere Brand Response:

Thank-you BH for allowing me to be a part of this amazing trial! I’d never tried a lotion from The Body Shop before, I didn’t think they could be as good as the body butters, but boy, was I wrong! I actually prefer the lotion to the butter, using the butter is very messy, in my opinion, messier still if you have long nails, like myself, and it gets stuck underneath your nails.. Gross! However using the lotion is so much easier because it comes in a tube instead of a tub. I’ve been using this everyday since I received it (about a week ago) and unlike other tubes there has been no build up around the opening. This product has a strong scent, definitely, but I don’t find it unbearable, it is very luxurious and rich in my opinion. As I said, I’ve been using this daily and it has made my skin so much softer than other lotions I’ve used in the past. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who wants soft skin and loves smelling pretty. If I could rate it higher, trust me, I would!

Thanks to BH I was able to trial this product. Honestly I prefer powder highlighters, as I think they standout more and are easier to use, but I was very excited to trial this cream stick. Sadly though I did not like it at all. The first thing I noticed was that it was not going to be ‘bright’ enough for me. This has a very natural, subtle glow, which I understand some people like, but not me. It also was a pain to blend.. The product moves around to easily, so I found that when I was blending it, even after applying it straight to my face, my sponge (or fingers or brush) was picking it up off my face, which meant when I was trying to blend it, it was ending up even lighter, with less pay off. I think maybe if you don’t wear a lot of other makeup, and if you like a light, natural glow then this product would work for you, but for me personally, I was not a fan of this at all.

Thank you BH for allowing me the opportunity to trial this product! I love the idea of this product, but sadly it fell short for me. In saying that though, I can see how this product would work well for people with different preferences to me. One of the pros about this for me was the shape of the actual product. I liked it because when using the contour part especially, it was handy having the thin part to contour down my nose and the thicker part to contour my cheeks. Sadly though, the contour was a miss for me. I found it hard to blend, not because it didn’t blend well, but because when I blended it, it came completely off on to my hand/brush/sponge, whatever tool I was using picked up all of the product, leaving nothing on my face, which in turn, made my foundation move as well. Maybe if you don’t wear much (or any) foundation it might work for you, but for me personally, I was not a fan at all. As for the highlight part of the product, it’s not as hard to blend as the contour, but for me personally, I don’t like the finish. I prefer a more standout, sparkly ‘glow’ and this was a more natural, subtle glow. If you like that sort of finish then this could be a great product for you. I was also a fan of having both the two products packaged together in a 2-in-1 product, but that’s about all I liked about this.

This is hands down my new favourite conditioner! This has a much stronger scent than the matching shampoo, which I like. It smells very luxurious, but is not over powering. I found this conditioner soothed my scalp, without leaving any residue, which some conditioners do to me. I have long hair and I used a dollop of product around the size of a fifty cent coin which was more than enough for me, so this product will last a long time. This conditioner was also a lot easier to rinse out of my hair than others I’ve used, but after rinsing I could still feel a noticeable difference in the softness of my hair. And even though this isn’t labelled as a detangling conditioner I did find that it made combing my hair after washing a lot easier. This is a conditioner targeted for people with dandruff and dry scalps, but I believe that anyone regardless of their hair concerns, could use this. I will definitely be purchasing this once I’ve gone through my current bottle, and I’ll be recommending it to anyone and everyone who will listen to me!

This shampoo does work. My reasoning behind the 3 star rating is simply because I prefer a different head & shoulders shampoo for my hair. I was a bit disappointed by the scent of this product though. I am someone who likes a mild-strong scent in my hair care products, and judging by other head & shoulders products I thought this would have a mild scent. However it didn't. I could barely smell it, so if you don't like stronger scents this would be a good product for you. As for the 'dry scalp care' claim I found it to be extremely gentle on my scalp. After using this product my scalp definitely felt more soothed than normal and I couldn't see any dandruff. It lathers up nicely, and a little goes a long way. I have very long hair and a blob the size of a twenty cent coin worked up a good lather for me. I would definitely recommend this product to people who have irritated scalps and/or dandruff, who don't like particularly strong scents.
