I received the 1000HOUR® Lash & Brow Dye Kit in Dark Brown as part of Beautyheaven's Discovery Bag and I was slightly nervous at first to trial this given how visible our brows are. The kit comes with almost everything you'll need to apply the dye - the dye cream, developer, mixing dish, and applicator sticks. You do need your own petroleum jelly to protect the outer areas of your brows from staining. I did not have any at home, so I applied the dye very slowly and carefully. I tilted the developer bottle so I could control the number of drops (instructions said 10 drops) and then applied the dye to my brows. After waiting for about 5minutes, I wiped away the excess dye with a damp cotton pad. The dark brown shade was perfect with my faded dyed hair, providing a natural look without being too harsh. I'm quite happy with how it turned out as given the shorter application time I went with. I did not try on my eyelashes as I have natural black hair and this dark brown dye will not be visible enough on me. Definitely recommend to the beginners wanting to try dying their brows without the high cost.

I received the Goldwell Dualsenses Color Repair and Radiance Balm as part of Beautyheaven's discovery bag trial and have enjoyed including it in my hair care routine. This came in a tube that normally sits upside down. The texture is rich and creamy and has a delicious tropical smell that is not overpowering. The balm was easily absorbed by my hair without weighing it down. I have waist length hair so in order to fully protect my hair, I found I needed to squeeze out a fair amount (around the size of a 20c coin). I had coloured my hair a few months back, so by the time I started this trial, my colour was already dull so I was not able to comment on its colour brilliance ability. However I was amazed at the reduction in split ends - I went from finding 20-30 split ends at the start of the trial to barely seeing 2 or 3 now. My hair felt a lot stronger and healthier after trialing this balm!

I received the Tresemme Smooth Hair Serum with Keratin & Shea Butter as part of Beautyheaven's discovery bag trial and have enjoyed including it in my hair care routine. The serum comes in a 100ml bottle with a pump dispenser and has a lightweight, non-greasy formula that makes my hair feel incredibly smooth and manageable. I currently have waist length thin hair, so I do need at least 4 pumps to work through my damp hair. I love how there is a light pleasant scent and it adds a beautiful shine without weighing my hair down. The combination of keratin and shea butter works wonders in keeping my hair hydrated and healthy-looking. Overall, I am quite please with how the product left my hair feeling although I do wish this came in a bigger bottle as 100ml might not be economical enough to last.

I received Rejuvaus Bright & Correct Niacinamide Serum as part of Beautyheaven's discovery bag trial and was impressed at how it made my skin look more radiant. This came in a rectangular tube with a pump dispenser and at first I had difficulties in dispensing out the serum. I shortly figured out the serum container inside the rectangle packing had gotten stuck so I had to open it up to realign the pump. Once that was resolved, it was back to trialing. I typically used one to two pumps of serum for my face and found it easy to apply. The serum has a lightweight texture and was readily absorbed by my skin, ready for the next step in my skincare regime. At the start of the trial, I had a dark pimple spot that I was keen to lighten so I had high expectations with its antioxidant ingredients (primarily the niacinamide, Vit C and hyaluronic acid). After a few weeks, I have definitely seen a drastic improvement with the dark spot. I have noticed am improvement in my skin tone and texture - it looks brighter and more even. I appreciate this is more of a premium skincare but I feel similar results can be achieve with other more budget friendly products.

I received DermaGen by Botanical Chemist Skin Recovery Lotion as part of Beautyheaven's discovery bag trial. This came in a 250ml bottle with a pump for hygienic dispersion. It was extremely hydrating - one pump was all I need to moisturize one leg. There is a strong botanical smell, which I didn't mind, but some may find overpowering. The lotion was thicker than others I have tried, but it was easily absorbed by my skin, leaving it feeling soft and moisturized with no greasy residue feeling. I do feel this is a niche product (as reflected by its pricier cost compared to other lotions), primarily aimed for those with eczema, dermatitis, acne or effects of radiation so I cannot see myself buying this again once the bottle runs out.

I received Nad's strawberries and cream wax strips as part of Beautyheaven's discovery bag trial and it was an enjoyable trial. In the past, I tend to shave instead of waxing so I was worried if I could use the wax strips effectively. When I first opened the tub, the delicious smell wafted out. There were 20 long wax strips and 4 post calming oil wipes to help remove residual wax. I followed the instructions to pull apart a wax strip and applied a sticky half to the area I was waxing. I smoothed over the skin in the direction of the hair growth and quickly pulled the strip in the opposite direction of hair growth, whilst holding my skin taut. I did have residue wax which were easily removed by the oil wipes - although, I wish there were more than 4 in the containers. I had no major skin irritations afterwards and my skin felt so smooth. It has been several weeks since I waxed my arms and the arm hairs are only now slowly growing back. This was such an enjoyable wax strip to use and I'm looking forward to my next wax!

I received the Isocol Rubbing Alcohol Antiseptic Anti-Bacterial Lotion as part of Beautyheaven's Discovery Bag and found it to be a very versatile and effective product for maintaining hygiene. It comes in a handy travel sized bottle with a pump spray and is easy to carry around in a large handbag. With the first spray, the alcohol smell is quite prevalent, but rest assured, this quickly fades and the hand is left feeling soft and sanitized. I have been using this primarily as a hand sanitizer given it contains 64% isopropyl alcohol and I am definitely keen to try it when I next have a pimple outbreak. Overall, it's a handy addition to any household!

I have used several Dermal Therapy products previously and found them to be a great brand when it comes to hydrating extra dry skin. Hence I have enjoyed trialing the Sensitive Skin Lotion as it was readily absorbed without leaving an oily sensation. I found I needed to use one pump for each limb and my skin felt soft and nourished afterwards. I love supporting Australian made products and I feel secure in knowing I can use this moisturizer everyday, even when my skin flares up during seasonal changes or other environmental irritants as there are no sulphates, parabens or fragrances. Definitely happy to recommend this to family and friends who need effective hydrating lotion for their skin!

It is easy to spread over my lips with its slanted applicator. There is no scent or colour so I could use it over lipstick if I wanted to. I also found that I did not need to use as much now that the dry winter season is over so this tube will last me a long time. My lips remained feeling hydrating for many hours after one application and the balm did not feel too sticky for me so this will be my go lip balm for when my lips are feeling extra dry!
