I was so excited to try this mascara as Max Factor usually bring out good quality, long wearing mascaras. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I'll start off with what I liked - the packaging was reminiscent of Nars; plain, black, matte. It felt and looked nice. Now, what I didn't like - the brush was too small for the super thick formula. I found that even after one application my eyelashes turn into one giant super lash. But at the same time, it didn't really increase the volume or length of my lashes ... go figure. Also, the formula was not at all long wearing. I found that most of the applied mascara was smudged under my eyes about an hour into wear. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong because looking at the other trial team reviews, it seems to have gotten a lot of positive reviews. Each to their own I guess.

I was really excited to try this product but after a while of trialing (on and off) this particular moisturiser, my feelings on it is akin to ... meh ... I have combination/oily skin with dry cheeks and the reason I was first drawn to it was because Clinique touted it as a water based gel moisturiser. Great, I thought, I don't need any extra oil on my face, this will be perfect to keep my dry skin soft whilst keeping my T-Zone slick free. After using it for a few months, I felt that whilst it moisturised my skin it wasn't amazing. It kept my skin decently hydrated but it didn't improve my skin or smoothe it as it claims to be able to do. I much rather prefer my Cetaphil moisturiser for $60 less. I'm now at that stage where the only reason I wear it is because I want to use it up and not let it go to waste. Pretty disappointing really.

I bought this kit when it was on sale at Priceline for $7.95 which I though was a bargain. It has the brow wax, brow powder, mini tweezers and mini angled brush all in a small compact package which makes it great for travel use or as a must-have in an everyday makeup bag. I bought the shade Medium/Dark which is actually more of a dark brown. Luckily, I have my hair dyed a dark brown with lighter foils so it matched quite well but I feel that if you've got black hair it would be too light. The brow wax has a lovely smooth texture and applies quite well with the angled brush. The brow powder is also really easy to work with and is quite pigmented. The only thing is, once you've used the brush for the wax, it becomes impossible to also use it for the powder so not sure what the logic behind only having the angle brush in the kit was? Or maybe I'm doing it wrong? Having mentioned that, it doesn't detract from what a great kit it is overall and for the price point, it's become an everyday use tool in my makeup routine. I've used quite a few different Eyebrow pencils/waxes and I feel that it's definitely up there in quality compared to Revlon, Maybelline and dare I say it ... Anastasia brow products?!

I absolutely adore this perfume, and judging by all the compliments I receive when I wear it, it also loves me! I would say that La Vie Est Belle is definitely a very sweet, floral scent. It's absolutely beautiful and not at all over-powering. Although, I find, one to two spritzes is more than enough to last the whole day! I usually wear this in Winter as I prefer more fruity, light scents for Summer. I may get shot for saying this but the scent that it most reminds me of is Britney Spears' Fantasy ... if Fantasy had an older, much more sophisticated sister with impeccable taste. This applies to the packaging of the perfume too. It has soooo much shiny, iridescent glitter on a white, thick cardstock box. Lancome have somehow made it classy though and not like a 2 year old's art project.

My skin is combination/oily and I always find that most matte primers will work for the first few hours under my foundation but then the oil will start to show through. This isn't the case with Rimmel's Stay Matte Primer. I put it on in the morning before work and it helps my foundation sit beautifully for the whole day whilst I'm at work ... no touch ups or blotting required. It doesn't break me out and it's unscented which is great for my sensitive skin. The only thing is, I wish it was designed with other effects like pore-minimising or redness reduction.

I bought this mascara on a whim without having read any reviews on this so I was hoping that it would be great. Needless to say, I found it to be a great everyday mascara which separated my short stubby lashes and lengthened them. I can apply a few coats without the formula turning my lashes clumpy but I find that it doesn't give enough volume for my liking. I probably wouldn't repurchase after I've finished the tube as I think that my Kevin Aucoin "The Essential" mascara suits me much better in terms of length and volume and also at a better price point

I have combination/oily skin and I find that this foundation wears really well during the day. I usually use Estee Lauder's Doublewear which Clinique's 2-in-1 is reminiscent of. It's touted as being a concealer as well as a foundation and I find that it is great for covering any blemishes without seeming cakey. One of the downsides to this foundation is that it is quite sticky and tends to dry quite fast so in order to get even coverage, it needs to be blended straight away.

I use this BB cream everyday just after my primer but before foundation. I find that it's the perfect base for a sheer foundation but does not provide enought coverage on it's own. I've also noticed that over time, the blemish marks on my skin have faded slightly. I have a medium asian complexion and I think that the medium shade is perfect for my skin tone.

I love using the pore strips because it's so effective and you can see the results straight away.
