I actually placed an order for the L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil in Beautorium but was sent this by mistake, but the lovely BH ladies told me to keep it. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by how good this turned out to be. As an argan oil, it's much more watery than Morrocanoil, which tends to have a slightly thicker texture. This definitely works to Garnier's benefit because it makes the oil easier to spread and work into your hair. It doesn't leave any oily residue, keeps hair soft and shiny just like any other argan oil on the market, and the price is so much more affordable! While I love pump bottles, because this oil is so watery, it tends to dribble a little if you are not expecting it so be warned beauties! This product is definitely a bargain at the price that you pay.

I acquired this in the July-August Beautorium. As a brow defining kit, this definitely has everything you may want, except for a pair of tweezers, which I'm surprised didn't get included, considering it has almost everything else! It contains two brushes, one slanted travel eyebrow brush in the palette, and an additional standalone brush duo with a spoolie and an eyebrow brush at each end. It also comes with a wax pencil that has a sharpener attachment. Both the standalone brush and pencil are separate from the palette. I would probably have preferred a packaging that could contain everything in the one spot. The product is pretty good, the brow powder is easily applied , although I do find the provided tools slightly cumbersome to use because the brush stems are too short so I use my own eyebrow brush. I have very dark brows, so unfortunately one of the colours will go to waste. Hopefully, Ardell will create a dark and light brow version of these kits because I can't foresee a situation (unless you do other people's makeup, or bleach/tint your eyebrows often) where you would need both light and dark options in the one palette.

I got this while travelling, as I had run out of my hair supplies. I really liked how this made my hair look. It definitely made my hair softer and more manageable. I used this with the recommended shampoo, and it saved my pool-damaged hair! Will definitely recommend!

I bought this while travelling overseas because I ran out of shampoo. I was surprised at how good it was! It restored my hair to a healthy condition (it had gotten a little dry from swimming in the pool all day every day), and it kept it shiny, and glossy. Subtly scented, which I love. Coupled with the recommended shampoo, this worked a treat!

This is my bathroom staple. I've used this for years now and haven't found a makeup remover that is as good. Unlike other reviewers, I don't think this leaves an oily residue. It's very effective at removing eye makeup including mascara.

I am a massive fan of Maybelline mascaras so when this got launched I just had to get one! I got this in washable, so it's quite easily removed. Formula wise, it's very similar to the Falsies mascara, so I haven't noticed much difference there. The main difference however, is with the brush and the wand. It's a big brush for volumizing, so it could be difficult to get definition, which is why some people have had problems with clumping. Nothing that a lash comb, or using a defining mascara first wouldn't fix. My main beef with it is the wand itself. For some odd reason, it's so bendy! It has a spot that's flexible so it can bend up and down, maybe it's so that the brush doesn't exert too much pressure on your lash? Honestly, I have no idea what the functional use of it is... but it really puts me off using it! It's slightly awkward putting it back into the tube, maybe that's just my poor fine motor skills talking. Overall, another great product from Maybelline. Love the cute packaging too, shame about the wand though!

First of all, can I just applaud the packaging and say that this is one of the most practical travel-friendly packaging designs ever! I have the pump, and I always prefer pumps for dispensing. Not only is it a pump though, it has a little plastic cap that goes over the pump so you can take it with you when you travel. Hallelujah! The actual product itself is pretty good. I've never tried rosehip oil on its own before, but was excited to see it as an ingredient in this. True enough, easily absorbed, and very hydrating. So far, it hasn't broken me out yet which I'm also very happy about. It's a little too rich for me for day use. If I use it in the day time, by evening I'd have a very shiny face. Even as a night cream, by morning I'd have quite a bit of shine on my face as well. The only reason why I'm giving it a star less is because I'm not fond of the scent (or any strong scents in general). I know it's a natural product and it's probably the rosehip that's scenting it up, but I'd still prefer something more subtle. I think this is worth every cent.

I've used this for years, and although I've tried many other lip balms in the interim, I never ever finish them and I always come back to my one true love! I've finished so many tubes of this... it's very hydrating and has restored my chapped lips many a time. It also doesn't become gross after you've used it for awhile, unlike other lip balms which tend to smell/discolour/etc. It makes a great base for lippies or glosses, or you can just wear it on its own.

I've been using this for perhaps nearly a year, and it has replaced my Neutrogena cleanser that I had been using many years prior as my HG cleanser. While the packaging is a little cumbersome (it would have worked much better with a pump), it makes up for it with everything else that it does. It is non-drying, yet cleans well enough to avoid blemishes. It has been very good for my combination skin, and I've managed to control breakouts very well without getting the dreaded flaky skin. It claims to be able to remove eye makeup, but it doesn't. It creates a major mess if you try, so just use it as a facial cleanser.

I've wanted something to deal with redness for awhile. I have blotchy, red skin, and using spot concealers did not give me a natural, even coverage. When I heard about the CC Cream, I wanted so much to give it a go, but the price put me off a little. I grabbed this when Priceline had the 40% sale, and can I say that I'm so glad that I did! It's very lightweight, and it's easily spreadable so a pea-sized amount covers your whole face. It is green, but blends seemlessly into your skin to produce a warm match for your skintone. Just be careful while blending that you will have to do it quite fast, because it dries so quickly! It is also mattifying, which sort of works well for my combo skin, the only problem is that it is a little drying. The instructions on the tube say to apply direct to naked skin so I haven't tried using moisturiser under this. My problem with using moisturiser under a skin-matching product is that I turn orange, so I am hesitant to. Instead, I try to use a heavier moisturiser at night.
