About me

In General :-Updated 12/9/19 I have a health issue and need Non-Toxic natural and/or organic products gentle for skin and body . I have dry sensitive skin and enjoy trying anything new in the market if I think it will help me . Due to health reasons finding cosmetics/skincare that is toxic and chemical free is a priority. No harsh ingredients or fragrances. Certain Categories : Skin : Allergic to Niacinamide ingredient in skincare and can't take certain brightening /lightening products. Eyes: Sensitive and now need to use all hypoallergenic products including any eye products, make-up, skin wipes. Any alcohol can't be tolerated and will sting . Cheeks : I have some sunspots /blemishes which won't disappear. Must be due to ageing . Foundation Colour : Sand Beige BB Cream : Preferable Light Medium, otherwise Medium Favourite Lipstick Colour : Rose (Pinkish brown shades -No reds or black) Favourite Nail colour- Pink neutral shades Nail type: Soft brittle nails that easily spilt and always like to try natural nailcare products that can make my nails/cuticles strong and healthy . Hair: Black/brown colour . Fine hair prone to split ends. Always careful due to sensitive skin and harsh hair products can initiate hair loss . Hands/ Body : Need creams for dry sensitive skin. Shea butter or organic ingredients are the best for me . Lanolin is great when my skin is extremely dry.Fragrance free is best. Oils: Rosehip and Chia seed is very suitable . .Currently trying Organic Virgin Coconut Oil for different purposes. Feet : Any cure for Bunions ?

This product was part of a Priceline bonus skincare bag and is the first time I have used this brand . This item is packaged in a 15mls tube and is great for hygiene reasons instead of dipping in a jar.I am not a regular eye cream user however I found this surprisingly simple o use . This is a light cream which previously in the past the eye products I've tried seems to be thick and applied a small amount under and around my eyes as it can become tired and a bit baggy under the eye area. It is not greasy and no allergic reactions to my skin and eyes at all which are generally sensitive . Good labelling as it says ,Suitable for Sensitive Eyes . I was patient and consistent with this routine and after about 2 weeks my eyes felt refreshed and skin was softer around the corners. The baggy area seemed to lighten as well. I think this cream is suited for all skin types and it is a good quality product. This has made me more aware of this brand and will keep an eye out on their other skin care ranges.

I bought this lip balm on sale and is a regular buyer for this brands lip balm. The item is Squeezy Sweet Peach and comes in a small tube and twist cap and is nice coral peach colour suited to the description.However when I opened the cap the spout of the tube is not slanted as I expect from the normal lippy balms that comes in a tube and realised that it may be intended to squeeze and apply from your fingers. It is the first time I have come across this in this type of packaging. The balm itself is brown/orange colour and actually leaked out from the tube and found it was too watery on the lips and slightly sticky. There is a slight hint of peach scent but no flavour.It did however give me moister lips which did the job. I will stick to their normal stick balms which I am used to . Quite an average product for this one.

I bought this at a Woolies sale and it is the 250mls bottle with a flip up lid which is very handy and is suitable for my dry sensitive skin all year round. I think this is a cute size bottle and the flip lid enables me to open up the lid with one hand so convenient and size can fit into a medium size bag. The lotion is non-scented which I am always happy about and is light to medium consistency which is great for the hot summer seasons.and doesn't leave any greasy residue. My skin is smooth and softer after applying and because its non -scented I have no skin reactions or irritations. This is my mother's favourite brand and I think it is suitable for the whole family to use regardless of skin type. Great for people with sensitive skins. It absorbs into my skin straight away

I bought this item from Aldi as it was recommended by my son's friend and thought this would be a quick touchup spray for my hair which can easily become dirty and weary during the hot summer. I think the 200mls bottle is very attractive and it certainly looks like an item ready to use in Summer due to the bright yellow/orange colours which again influenced my purchase, I am not sure if this is on all sprays but I found the nozzle was so powerful that it belted out the spray . I made sure that I was not too close to my face when I used it. The scent is like a light coconut smell which was pleasant. Besides that I used this in between shampoos and just gave it a light whiff when needed then give my hair a quick comb or brush to freshen up the strands. It is quite handy to have for touchups and would like to see mini bottles that would be more convenient to put in a womens handbag so not to take up too much room. Good product.

I recently purchased this item as needed a fresh face powder to use daily. This was item 125 Buff Beige which I assumed is a light/medium colour . My skin is dry sensitive and was attracted by the label 'CLEAN" which was clearly marked on the lid. It was definatley a clean look when I opened it and came with a nice powder puff which sometimes brands don't have. As my usual skin routine I always try to use minimal time as possible and applied this over either foundation or BB cream . I was quite impressed the powder was so light and not flaky and sat perfectly on my skin . I work in an op shop and my face still stayed fresh and looked good all day . The colour I chose suited well and is very handy to carry around for touchups. Also great for summer wear as it is not heavy on the face. Happy with quality for an affordable price and suitable for all skin types.

Thank you BH for this trial and is done ICW the Bed Head Ressurection Shampoo 750mls which I have reviewed. This bottle is excactly the same as the shampoo in red hot labeling so you need to be careful and look at whether its shampoo or conditioner. It is the same size, colour and easy flip on /off cap that reduces wastage. The conditioner itself is good thick consistency and smells pleasant like the shampoo. I used this as part of my hair routine and applied it after washing with the shampoo first. Then I squeezed any excess water out from scalp to my ends. I think this part is very important as I find conditioners are useless if your hair is still soaked with water as the conditioner doesn’t penetrate the hair strands . I applied this mainly on my ends as that is where its needed due to constant drying and splitting as I have fine straight hair. I used a bit more than a 20 cent coin and massaged into the ends before using a fine tooth comb to brush down my hair. I was happy that my hair was very soft and smooth leaving me with no tangles . I think this conditioner is great for any hair type that has dry spots as conditioner is more flexible to use either on your whole head or just ends only like I did. This is a good quality conditioner that will last a while due to its large size and goes well with the Resurrection shampoo. Also it looks great together as a pair in the bathroom !

Thank you BH for this trial and is first time user of this brands hair product. This review is done in conjunction with the Bed Head Resurrection conditioner. I was very impressed with the size of the bottle 750mls so it’s a bit of heavy bottle. I accepted this trial because I have dry sensitive scalp and split/dry ends so I am wary of hair and skin products that have high fragrance and nasty ingredients. The shampoo has a mild fruity scent which I liked and press on/off cap which saves waste and leakage. In regards to labeling the red hot colour is excellent to pickout so it won’t hide in the shelves and large words are great and easy to read. Good flip cap that reduces wastage. I tested this as part of my hair wash routine as I work ( min 3 x weekly ) and used a small amount size of 20c coin like I usually do. The shampoo has a nice viscosity and didn’ t irritate my eyes or scalp and massaged it well onto wet hair. It lathered nicely and for a small amount it washed very well and after rinsing left me with hair that was soft and clean. Best of all I had no hair loss as for some reason I experience this when a hair product doesn’t suit me. Due to the moisturizing content of the shampoo, it didn’t leave me with a greasy scalp like some do so I was happy about that.This is a great quality shampoo and If I see this range on the shelves., I will definatley consider this brand. I hope there will be some promotions as its not cheap and always love browsing new quality products. Recommended for especially dry hair , but not oily.

I bought this a while back I bought this in conjunction with the shampoo at an op shop and was the first time in trying this brand. I used this in conjunction with the coconut shampoo which I also reviewed. You need to be careful with reading the label as it is excactly the same bottle as the shampoo except it is conditioner. Nice cococnut scent just like the shampoo. As per my normal hair routine , I wash hair first then squeeze any excess water out before I condition my ends as it is either dry or split. The conditioner is a nice thick consistency which coats my hair well and instantly conditions it so it allows me to detangle it easily after washing. It left me with smooth soft hair and smells pleasant . I think this product is good if you have normal to dry hair as it contains coconut oils which is worth a try. Great quality.
