The Lamav BB Cream was a purchase from my BeautyHeaven rewards. I have used this previously and knew just how good it was and how satisfied I was with the results it showed. This has a natural sunscreen (a big tick there!) No nasties in this and as only a small amount is needed for coverage is good value. Apply a small amount to cleansed skin with a brush, sponge or as I do, gently apply with clean fingertips. The Lamav container is white with large BB on the front, and contains 50ml. I have a medium complexion and the medium cream is a perfect match blending smoothly and giving a natural glow.

Thankyou Beautyheaven for the opportunity to trial 'Grow Thicker Fuller Daily Densifier' for fine thinning hair. I was eager to try it as I do have fine hair which really needs body. The box you'll find the product in is a pretty pink one. Inside is the generous 90ml Glass bottle complete with pipette top, The instructions are to apply from the glass bottle this clear liquid directly onto the scalp parted in four places and to massage in. (One pipette for every parting). I tried this method only to have the liquid drip into my eyes. (It stung!). I felt it to be a rather unsuitable way of application. As a result I used the pipette to put the liquid in my hand and applied massaging it into each area. This worked, and was a much more suitable way to apply. The ingredients were impressive, natural, and beneficial with the blend of antioxidants. The scent was unusual but as it didn't linger was not an issue. After using this for two months I noticed my hair has more 'body', feels and looks thicker. The Daily Densifier is effective and I was pleased with the result, but as the application was unsuitable I am only able to give this 3 stars. Maybe a spray action pump would have been a better way of applying.

I was delighted to receive in my Beauty Heaven box the Remington One Straighten andCurl Styler as part of the Glosscar Awards 2024. This is in the category of best multi use styler. The Remington One styler is indeed a 2 in 1 styling device giving easy choice of curly or straight hairstyles. There are flexi covers which slide into position depending on the style desired and with its longer length straightening plates straightening hair is even quicker. It comes presented in a sturdy gold box with a picture of the Remington One Straight and curl styler on it. Inside this box you will discover a styling glove and an attractive storage pouch complete with heat resistant lining, and of course the wonderful Remingtington One Styler. The features are impressive, a generous warranty, a safety shut off, plus it is ready to use in 20 seconds. I was impressed with the cord length and the fact that I could choose the temperature setting I wanted. I found also that the instruction booklet provided was informative and explained how to use both the straightening and curling functions well. The display functions on the styler showed clearly temperature and mode. Also I found this comfortable to hold and use. My hair seemed to hold its style so much longer than my previous styler. I tried this in both straight and curling modes but used mainly in the curling mode. My hair feels bouncy and fuller, I love this appliance!

Such a lovely product I received from Beauty Heaven in the Glosscar Awards 2024 Box. The nomination as Best New Lip Product is for Dermal Therapy Overnight Lip Balm. I found this to be a lovely product. The box containing the 10g of lip repair is a sea blue and purple colour clearly stating the contents. Inside is the tube/pump which is in the same colours. The contents are a pearly white and the pump works extremely well for extracting the amount of the cream required. Although, I fortunately don't have chapped lips, I found this cream to be beneficial for adding extra lip moisture. This resulting in plumped, softened and well hydrated lips. Applied at night it works while you are asleep which is great. The formula of hyaluronic acid and ceramides, urea, collagen and peptides has everything to nourish lips this leading to a fuller lip. This suits me very well! I found it seems to help with the small lines just above my lip area as well. The product in fact has over 30 ingredients so if you are sensitive to some products it would be advisable to check out the ingredient list just in case. It is sting free and unlike some lip balms doesn't have that cloggy, heavy feel. As far as I am concerned the results of use were impressive and I will continue to purchase this Dermal Therapy Lip Repair in the future. It is affordable as only a little pump is all that is required on each the upper and lower lip.

I am a big fan of Weleda products having used many of them and benefited from their use and results. Because of this I was very pleased to have the opportunity with Beauty Heaven to trial this Glosscar 2024 product. The Weleda Skin Food Nourishing Night Cream (nomination, Best New Moisturiser) is another wonderful product from Weleda. The 40ml of cream is in a lovely green glass jar with a dark green lid. This is boxed in the same green coloured packaging which is cardboard. ( I was very impressed with the green jar as I can think of many uses for this when my jar is empty!) The cream is a creamy white and although it looks to be solid actually melts into my skin. After my night time cleansing routine I smooth it on to my skin, a small amount onto eaçh cheek and chin, massaged into entire face and neck area it is absorbed beautifully. I have also been using it as a day cream as well as I am so pleased with the feel of it on my skin. I should add that I don't put it near my eye area but instead use my anti aging eye cream in that area. The results of use are excellent, I have noticed immediate intensive moisture. It is a nutrient rich cream containing many organic extracts giving the cream a lovely but subtle scent. Strengthening the skin barrier it penetrates and leaves my skin silky soft and moisturised. Because you need so little it is proving to be good value and as it is dermatology proven should be suitable for most skin types. Welda Skin Food is made in Switzerland and is commited to people and to nature, it is also vegan. I have read that Weleda is used by many celebraties and this is not surprising because I have found this, while gentle on my skin has left it so soft and moisturised.

I was fortunate to receive this in the Glosscar box from Beauty heaven. Du'it Tough Body, nomination Best New Body Moisturiser. This Du'it Moisturiser is presented in a 300g pump bottle with the distinctive yellow and blue, with a blue pump top. Another lovely Du'it product, it has no nasties, nlo parabens and has a subtle scent. Being white and liquid it applies to your body well and absorbs easily. The ingredients are lovely, probiotics (these are good for your insides as well) and niacinamide both very beneficial for our skin. I was delighted to see that the ingredient list included Kakadu Plum and Grape Seed Oil, these both suit my skin, especially Kakadu Plum. Applied whenever skin requires moisturising this lotion doesn't feel heavy and is not greasy. I enjoyed applying it as it made my skin feel well moisturised and rejuvinated. I found it particularly good smoothed on to my lower legs as I have some sun damage from my teenage years, particularly one small dry patch to which I've been applying the lotion twice a day. It seems to be fading slightly and it certainly doesn't feel rough as it did previously. I did find that the Pump on the bottle sometimes pumps out more moisturiser than required. This is fine for using at home but wasn't really suitable for travel. However, it was easy to transfer the Du'it Tough Body Moisturiser into a small container for when we were away from home.

Thankyou Beauty Heaven for the opportunity to trial the Booty Co Contour Kit (new skincare device) part of the Glosscar Awards 2024. Firstly the Booty Body Lotion. This is a beautiful product presented in a pretty, pink cardboard box, (the writing on which I found very difficult to read). Inside this was a container with a generous 200ml of body lotion, containing collagen peptides, coconut oil, guarana seed extract as well as other nourishing and nutrient rich ingredients. All these proven to enhance circulation and blood flow. This firming Booty Lotion is lightweight and fast absorbing locking in the moisture perfectly. It is creamy white in colour with a delicious scent and not at all greasy. Such a pleasure to use on my whole body. Concentrating on my thigh area which is the area I should notice the most improvement for cellulite I then used the Contour Cup. The Booty Contour Cup is made from medical grade German silicone which is in a blue cardboard box which in turn contains the Blue Booty Cup. I wet the Cup very well before using by pressing it down firmly on my well lotioned thigh area, it sticks well and I find it easy to move around the area. I do notice on removal of the device that the area is really quite pink which will mean that the device is doing its job. The sensation I feel when using this isn't really that pleasant but I am getting used to it. My thigh area after a week's use feels smoother and softer so I feel with continued use I will notice a difference. With all the benefits, such as cellulite crushing. Circulation improvement, lymphatic drainage and firming this is a great innovative product.

As part of Glosscar 2024 Best New Body Fragrance Beautyheaven gave me the opportunity to review the 'Impulse Body Mist Balanced Mind'. I was delighted and this is the first item I tried after opening the Box. This is a lovely product and although in the past I have enjoyed several Impulse fragrances I found this variety quite different in appearance and composition. The Impulse Balanced Mind Body Mist is presented in a 150ml clear plastic container. The pale green labeling looks pretty and everyting is easy to read. Clearly stating Jade, Pear, Jasmine and Vanilla part of the mist-ic collection. This bottle provides a mist spray function which was perfect to operate. I found this container was just the right size to use anywhere to spritz during the day. I also found it great for travelling and used it in the evening as well. The scent is delicate and harmonious with a fruity and calming feel. It features a blend of fruity pear, Sweet Vanilla and Fragrant Jasmine and it does not leave marks on clothing. It is a Polish product and a truly lovely one, making it so easy to spritz whenever you need an uplift. I found the fragrance so natural and unlike some that have an overpowering scent. I prefer natural scents and this one with its subtle fragrance hit the mark. The mix of Pear, Vanilla and Jasmine in the Impulse Body Mist blend perfectly, none overpowering the other. Reapplying every three to four hours is refreshing and even spraying on your hair gives you a lift.

I was fortunate in being selected to trial Justice Professional Colour, Permanent Colour. Thankyou Beautyheaven. I am in the habit of using hair colour so was pleased to try something new. As I've been using the same brand every six to eight weeks and in a permanent colour, to trial an ammonia free brand was something I was eager to see the results of. Being ammonia free 'Justice' hair colour contains five very beneficial oils, (Argan, Sunflower, Green Tea, Camellia and Almond) and a high concentration of free fatty acids. The colour formula is in a green oblong box (similar size to other brands) with a photo of a woman on the box front. The colour I chose was medium natural brown which is close to my natural colour, on the packet back there is a picture showing what to expect according to the colour of your hair and the result after colouring. Inside the box you'll discovera plastic bottle of Oxidant Cream, a tube of professional colour and a satchet of Smooth and Groom Deep Conditioner. Also included are extensive instructions with clear advice that an allergy test must be carried out 48 hours before using this. If all is well after performing the allergy test you are free to commence colouring. The process is very easy, just empty the tube into the plastic bottle of antioxidant, (you'll find goves at the back of the instruction leaflet) these are a must for use. Shake the bottle well and snip off the end of the bottle as indicated. Now to my personal experience:- I used this the same way I always colour, sectioning my hair and applying to the roots. This was a simple procedure, I did notice that the solution seemed more liquid than I was anticipating. However, this was not a problem, there was no dripping or danger of the solution getting into my eyes. (If this were to happen, copious rinses of water should be executed). After the root application the rest of the solution I massaged into my hair. Suggestions are to leave this in your hair for 30-35 minutes. I left it on for 30 miinutes. Following this I rinsed my hair well, shampooed with my normal shampoo, again rinsed and applied the Smooth and Groom Deep Conditioner, leaving this in for 3 minutes before rinsing well and styling as usual. The result:- My hair looks and feels great. It's beautifully shiny and healthy looking possibly due in part to the marine collagen also in the Justice Hair Colour. This product is as near a professional colour as what I would expect from a salon visit. The colour is rich and perhaps a little darker than before, which is exactly what I wanted! There are 20 shades in the range, so definitely one to suit everyone.

Thankyou Beautyheaven for the opportunity to trial Nivea Lift Expert Cellular Advanced Anti-age Day Cream. The cream is in a lovely pinkish cardboard packet and this shows information of the benefits of using the cream. Inside the packet you'll discover the white attractively lidded jar, 50ml content. I always think it a little wasreful to have a packet but I guess the benefits information wouldn't fit on the jar! Of course the jar is protected too. The cream has a slight perfume and it is palest of pinks. The consistency is very creamy and it does absorb reasonably quickly, only a small amount being a necessary application to ensure the coverage of the neck and face area. After your morning cleansing routine this is to be applied in upward gentle strokes. I also do a very gentle massage which is just something I prefer to do. But that is just me! The content ingredients are extensive but all very beneficial. In particular the Bukichiol which is derived in part from the Bukuchi plant. This component stimulates skincell turnover and improves skin texture and as well is an important anti-oxidant. The cream is a Bio Retinol alternative and claims visible results after the first use including defining facial contours, reducing deep wrinkles and improving skin structure. Having an SPF component of 15 is an added bonus. I have been using this every morning over the past weeks and notice a softening of my features, my skin looks fresher and plumper as well. The jar is going to last many more days because the cream is so economical. An added note, always avoid the eye area and dab on your preferred eye cream there.
