This was definitely my favourite product in the A'kin Age Defy range we were given to trial. The eye cream comes in a small tube with an applicator perfect for allowing you to dispense a small amount. The cream glides on easily and feels very smooth. It contains Vitamin C, Echium oil and Camu camu. All these ingredients are known for plumping skin and reducing fine lines. Interestingly, camu camu is also another rich source of Vitamin C. After using it twice a day for twenty eight days I did notice an improvement in the fine skin around my eye area. Although the fragrance wasn't very strong when using such a small amount, I did not care for the smell as it was very chemical smelling. I would however, continue to use and recommend this product as I found the eye cream to be very soothing, easy to apply and hydrating.

Thrilled to trial this along with the Trilogy Sensitive Very Gently Hydra-Mask. The restoring oil features the same attractive and gentle apricot packaging and the product itself is housed in a frosted glass bottle with a dropper for easy application and no chance of waste. The oil is a yellow/orange colour with no scent I could detect, in fact I would say it was fragrance free, in my opinion. The oil itself is fairly thick in texture, so 3 drops covered my face well. To be honest though, the first couple of times, I added an extra drop to apply to the sides of my nose, as that area has been extremely dry recently. I have been applying the product both morning and night after cleansing, although I believe once a day, either morning or night, will suit me once my Winter skin is a little less dry. I have tried other oils, but have found that they seem too "oily" (pardon the pun) and just sat on my skin. Trilogy's Very Gentle Oil soaks in quickly and causes no irritation. I know with continued, my skin will become smoother. Highly recommended, and I will repurchase.

I have had drier skin as I have aged. Lately it's been extra dry and flaky, due to the cold weather and illness. I was so excited to be part of this trial! The name itself makes this Trilogy product perfect for me! The outer box itself features soft apricot and white, which seems sensitive and soothing in itself. The hydra-mask itself is housed in a frosted brown glass with a black lid which gives it a luxurious look and feel. The product is yellow in colour. It looks rich and creamy (but is light when applied), with a light but pleasant scent. I love that a spatula is included for hygienic and smooth application. Apply an even layer to cleansed skin and relax from 10-20 minutes; the packaging says 10-15, but I was feeling comfortable at 20 minutes. I did not need to rinse or wipe off as the product had completely soaked into my skin. It felt plump, smooth, hydrated and I experienced no irritation despite having very sensitive skin. I was thrilled to trial this product and would definitely repurchase. Thanks BH!!!

I really love the presentation of this foundation, in an elegant pump bottle. It looks high end for the price. I chose Golden Ivory using the online shade selector, it looked a little light in the bottle, but was a pretty good match for my skin. It glides on smoothly & a little goes a long way. It looked smooth & dewy, but for me the coverage was a little light, I have redness & prefer a fuller coverage. I also found it became patchy after some time & clung to my dry patches. I would have to reapply if going out after a day of wearing the foundation. I would definitely recommend this to others though & I think the product would work for me, on those lazy weekends when I don't mind a lighter coverage.

This conditioner features the trademark fragrance well-known for Head & Shoulders, & although the scent is quite strong in the shower, it doesn't linger too much after rinsing. The formula is thick & creamy. I have fine hair & wondered if it would feel too heavy, but it rinses out very well & leaves my hair feeling soft, clean & healthy. After a few uses, my scalp felt moisturised, smooth & free of flakes & itchiness. Definitely a new favourite for me & I'll be repurchasing.

This is a lovely thick & creamy shampoo with the easily recognisable scent from Head & Shoulders. It lathers up beautifully, & given that I have fine, short hair a little goes a long way! After use my hair feels soft & looks shiny. Compared to other Head & Shoulders this one made my scalp feel a lot smoother & completely itch-free. I use this together with the matching conditioner & would definitely purchase down the track. Gentle enough to use daily.

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but Head & Shoulders products seem to be improving in leaps and bounds lately! The packaging gets a modern update with some clear water on the label, but still remains the well-recognised blue and white bottle. The flip top lid is always appreciated. This conditioner is quite heavily scented but I personally didn’t mind it as the fragrance is a rather non-descript fresh smell. It would not interfere with body wash or perfume after your shower. It was quite thick, but you expect that in a conditioner. It went smoothly through my hair and it felt quite luxurious when I massaged it into my scalp. It rinsed out easily with no residue and did not weigh down my thin hair. When my hair was dry (I air dry only, as I have short hair) it was smooth, shiny and looked healthy. I will continue to use this conditioner and found that I was free of flakes and the dreaded itching. Highly recommended!

Last time I tested a Head & Shoulders product I said it was my favourite, but I was wrong... this one is most definitely!!! The packaging varies slightly, but is still the iconic blue and white. I couldn't name the scent, but would describe it as fresh, perhaps clean. It is quite heavily scented which I didn’t mind. It doesn’t linger after the shower. In terms of fragrance, perhaps the most important thing is that it does not smell medicinal or of tar like other products that treat dandruff. The shampoo is quite thick and at first I thought I had accidentally picked up the wrong bottle! It lathers up wonderfully into a thick, creamy foam and it was easy and rather pleasant to thoroughly massage into my scalp. Despite the thickness of the shampoo and subsequent foam, it rinsed out easily. My hair felt fresh and really clean, and my scalp felt clean too, with no flakes or itchy. I had terrible dandruff in my teens, but not that much these days, just the occasional flare up. Having said that however, this Winter has seen me experience an extremely dry and itchy scalp. This shampoo really helped alleviate this for me. Once dry, my fine hair looked healthy, smooth and shiny. I would quite happily purchase this product, and use it on a regular basis.

First, I love the fact that the conditioner stands on its lid, which is opposite to the shampoo. Great for those with bad eyesight! The formula is really thick, so when applied to the hair it stays in your hair. Similar to the shampoo, the fragrance is pleasant but not overpowering. Directions suggest massaging the conditioner into your scalp and I found this to be pleasant. The conditioner rinses out cleanly and my hair felt clean, flake free and not itchy. I have extremely fine hair and afterwards could see an improvement in volume. I personally found this conditioner gave me smooth, shiny hair and was quite nourishing. I have short, fine hair but I suspect a person with longer or thicker hair may need more product or perhaps even an additional product. I will continue to use this conditioner and recommend it to others.

I have used Head & Shoulders on and off over the years and have found it to be an effective brand overall. Thick & Strong is my new favourite! I immediately noticed the generously large bottle. The shampoo has a pleasant scent but it doesn't linger too long or overpower any perfume you may choose to wear. As I have bad eyesight and don't wear my glasses in the shower, I really appreciate that the shampoo sits with lid up and conditioner with lid down so they are easy to distinguish. The shampoo is very thick & so you don't need a lot, which means the bottle will last a long time. It lathers extremely well. I do suffer from an itchy/flaky scalp in Winter and this shampoo really helped with that issue. After rinsing, my hair felt fresh and clean. My scalp also felt clean, flake free & no longer itchy. I have short, very fine hair & am recovering from some hair loss due to medication. My hair has grown back but is super fine and quite fragile. After several uses, my hair feels stronger and appears to have more volume. The only negative was that I found the flip top lid difficult to open and actually snapped it off, but that was probably due to my fingers rather than anything else. I will continue to use this shampoo, but would probably continue to alternate as I do with other hair care. Definitely recommended.
