If I could only have one blush for the rest of my life, I would choose Melba. Melba is a beautiful warm-toned coral with a matte finish. The level of pigment is what I find to be perfect for a blush - not too much that you end up looking clownish and not too little that you can't build it up. It hits that sweet spot making it so easy to apply. MAC blushes are very soft and easy to blend. It lasts well, even on my oily skin. I would say I get at least 6 hours of wear (over a powdered foundation base) before it starts to fade. Its a very flattering shade and I could see it working for a lot of different skin tones. It is holy grail worthy for me.

I love MAC's Paint Pot in Painterly! It is a well-known product for its excellent pigment. I have a lot of veins that are visible on my eyelids so I need something heavy duty to cover them. It is very easy to apply with just your fingers and you only need a small amount. Eyeshadow applies well overtop. I have oily eyelids and it holds well throughout the day. I have to deduct one star ONLY because it dries out quickly. I usually get through half a pot and then have to re-purchase. I will note I'm not someone who wears makeup daily, though.

I own a few different setting powders but I reach for this one most. I like that I can add a bit more coverage with it since I do have a lot of redness/broken capillaries. NC15 matches me really well in MAC shades. I have oily skin so I always need to set my foundation with powder. I can sometimes be a bit heavy-handed lol. I find it works best paired with a medium coverage foundation that has a semi-matte finish. I originally thought it would be too drying for under the eyes but I find it to work well on my whole face. Helps to stop concealer from creasing too. Overall a good powder to perfect your base and give you more longevity from your foundation.

This is my boyfriends favourite perfume and I really love smelling it on him too! He is down to the last few sprays left in the bottle. I can't find it for sale anywhere now. So disappointing. I did some searching online and it looks like YSL have discontinued this fragrance. Its a gorgeous, oud-y patchouli with a bright orange note in the opening. It will forever remind me of a Japan trip we took a few years back as he wore this the whole time we were there. I really hope YSL will bring it back one day. PLEASE?

I purchase a lot of fragrance decants (kind of like sample sizes) and this is one that I chose in my latest purchase from OzFragrances. I have a small decant of the original Libre too and I like this one slightly more. The original is lighter and more of a Spring scent whereas this is more fitting for colder weather. I definitely pick up the Vanilla, Tonka and Lavender notes. I wouldn't call it a generic scent. It is really quite lovely and not overly sweet. I don't think it hits gourmand territory, at least not to my nose. I'm still torn on whether it is full bottle worthy for me but its definitely one I'm reaching for a lot. It has moderate projection and lasting power in my opinion.

This is the best dry shampoo I've tried (I've tried many). I have highlighted blonde hair with roots that get oily quickly, the lengths of my hair are very dry. I'm always trying to go longer between hair wash days and this product really helps. I'll apply on day 2 after washing my hair and I can usually go another 2 days before needing to wash my hair again. To apply, I lift up sections of my hair and spray directly on my roots. I will rub the product in with my fingertips and then brush through a few times - this usually disperses any obvious white powder remaining. Like with all dry shampoos, I get through a can pretty quickly but I will note the price is very reasonable compared to some other brands. I like this brand more than Batiste. If you like dry shampoo and haven't tried this one yet, I highly encourage you to pick it up. :)

I received a red shade of the Covergirl Melting Pout Liquid Lipstick, number 125, to trial. Sadly.. red lips are not really my thing! But I still gave it a good go The product comes in a little squeeze tube that is the colour of the shade inside. My initial expectation was that this would be more of a traditional matte liquid lipstick but it is not matte in the slightest. Its a very creamy formula that glides on the lips and feels lightweight. I found this particular shade to be sufficiently pigmented in just one layer. The finish is definitely satin as it was described The applicator is really soft but i do prefer a wand applicator for slightly more precise application. Paired with a similarly coloured lip liner though, its not a big deal Unfortunately I am a braces wearer and experienced a lot of transfer on my teeth and braces. So while my teeth are being straightened I do prefer a matte and transfer resistant lipstick.
It really is lovely to wear though comfort wise and can easily be touched up It worked much better for me if I gave a quick blot with a tissue. Much less transfer.
Although its not really for me I can see a lot of people loving this formula.

Thank you BH for letting my trial The Body Shop almond milk and honey soothing and restoring body lotion. I have in the past used many body products from The Body Shop and I had high hopes for this lotion As soon as I received the product, I gave it a good sniff in the tube. It smells creamy, a sweet honey and nut scent. I waited for my shower that evening and applied from feet to shoulders. I am the kind of person who doesn't apply lotion every day, I am lucky that my skin isn't very dry so I can go without it. But with this product I look forward to that extra step in my routine. :) There was only one aspect that didn't thrill me. The smell during application is very overpowering. It takes on a completely different smell that reminds me of heavy cocoa butter. But once it dries down it goes back to smelling as it did in the tube. I can deal with that. My boyfriend did pay me a compliment the first time I put this on. "Mmmm, what's that smell?" This lotion is just the right consistency for my needs, its not too thick or too fluid.
It is fast absorbing and doesn't leave a greasy film on the skin. It leaves my legs, even after shaving, very silky smooth. It makes me want to run my hands over my legs. I think even if you had a drier skin type it would still be moisturising enough. I still feel soft and smooth 48 hours later. The Body Shop continues to wow me with their products and this is one I will use till the last drop.

Thanks again BH for letting me try out the Sally Hansen Colour Therapy range Both products I have thoroughly enjoyed. The top coat works well to seal in the vibrant colour of the nail polish and helped to prevent chips on both applications (1st application with two coats of the colour polish, 2nd application with only one coat). I had only the tiniest bit of chipping on the 4th day - but its hard to know whether the long wear is attributed to the nail polish itself, the top coat, or both. They seem to work really well together and I will keep using them as a system So far the top coat is proving a worthy opponent to my beloved Seche Vite top coat - the only minor let down is that it doesn't provide the level of shine I would like. It lives up to its claims of extended wear, but not the 'glossy shine' it promises. Sometimes though, I prefer this look It dried in only 1 to 2 minutes, if you don't over apply. It features the same brush as the nail polish which I love I can't wait to experiment further with this product and other colours from the range.

Thank you BH for letting me trial this product. The shade I received is a beautiful bright teal - right up my alley! The first time I applied the polish, I went for two coats although it was very much opaque in one coat. The second time I wore it, I went for only one coat. I wanted to see if the wear time would differ, but I got a solid 5 day wear for both applications. For someone who isn't very careful with their nails, that is very impressive. I had only the tiniest chips at the tip of my nails on day 4 I think the brush is absolute perfection. It makes for a very even application and I only need a maximum of 3 strokes per nail. Drying time is fast, provided you apply a thin coat. Each coat took just couple of minutes to dry on my nails, which I feel is pretty standard for most nail polish. I didn't paint my toes - I mostly wear boots so I feel like that would have been a waste. :) I like the idea of argan oil in the product as it adds a protective, nourishing element. However, I think I would need more time to fully appreciate its benefit on my nails.
I didn't find the nail polish to be drying and it also removed easily with standard non-acetone nail polish remover Overall a very impressive formula and I want more colours to play with!
