Thank you beautyheaven for the opportunity to trial this product. I have previously and was still currently using this product but in the older packaging. Not sure if this is a new formula. I was expecting it to be the same, rich creamy formula that defines the curls. It feels the same but I felt like it made my hair oily after a day or two whereas I don’t normally get that with the older formulation. I still like it but definetly too rich for someone with hair not dry. I will continue to use it.

Thanks you beautyheaven for sending this out for me to trial and review as part of the January discovery box. Not my usual lip balm of choice. I like the lipstick style wind up ones but this was nice to try. A little pot of balm that is an oil like balm. Very subtle scent. Goes on smoothly and feels very nice on the lips. I did find that it does dissapear after a little while as most lip balms do so you will need to reapply throughout the day. I would love if this was made into a wind up style balm as it would be easier to use and more hygienic.

I usually opt for more cream products and body butters so this is something different for me. It comes in a little tub which is compact but has a good amount of product in it. With nails I do find it hard to scoop out given it is solidified. It would be nice if it came with a scoop. It does have a bit of an “oil” smell and does go on like a cleansing balm would feel on the skin. It is definetly very hydrating and it does dry down and become a lot less oily. I like it overall and will continue to use it.

I’ve never fake tanned before so would probably have never tried this if it hadn’t been sent to me. First impression of the packaging is I like the pump applicator. The writing on the bottle is not very clear and so a bit hard to understand. I had to go online to see the details properly. First thing that caught my eye is the fact it’s clear. It is a runny fluid that comes out like a foaming cleanser would when you pump it out. I really liked that, I rubbed it between my palms and rubbed it into my skin. The following morning I had a nice natural looking tan that was definetly not too dark. It’s definetly something that I would consider using before an event to give my skin a nice healthy glow. One mistake I did make is not washing my hands afterwards and I woke up to tanned palms.

First impression of the packaging is that it’s practical, a nice bright green and fit for purpose. It dispenses the product as it should. I like that the conditioner is targetted towards couloured hair. Although I found that it wasn’t as rich as my other hair conditioners. I have dry coloured hair and really need the extra nourishment and so tend to lean more towards richer more moisturising conditioners. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel like this was hydrating enough for my hair but it was still an ok conditioner. I need more time to figure out whether this really has made any change to my hair because I can’t notice much of a difference after a few uses.

I was excited to try this particular shampoo and conditioner combo due to it being targetted at brittle hair. My hair is not fine but definetly brittle due to colouring and just general stress. The packaging is ok, nothing special but also visulally appealing bright colour. The shampoo itself foams up nicely which I really need to feel it’s cleaning my hair properly. There is a scent which to me smells like a generic shampoo smell. Nothing too overpowering but nothing amazing either, it definetly is not an annoying smell though. My hair did feel clean after washing and I have only used it a handful of times and can’t really say how well it has worked at repairing my hair. If I bought it for the claims, I would definetly take the time to trial this over a longer period of time to really give it time to work.

I was lucky enough to receive the January Discovery Box from beautyheaven. This lip balm was one of the products in the box. Thank you beautyheaven and Nivea. Nivea lip balms are very popular and have been purchased time and time again in our household. My husband uses the white package one and we go through alot of them. I have also used the spf yellow one and the blue one but never the flavoured ones. It definetly feels nice and hydrating on the lips. It is instantly relieving. It also adds a nice shine and tint to the lips. However it does go away quite quickly. After a little while it needs to be reapplied. Nevertheless a nice everyday lip balm that is reasonably priced.

Thank you beautyheaven for sending over the January Discovery box for me to try. This little gem was one of many treasures in the package. The packaging looked promising with the before and after picture of a very dry hand. My husband had just been working on the car and his hands were looking rather dry and peeling. it was the perfect opportunity to try this out. He said it immediately made his hands feel soft and nourished and got rid of the dry uncomfortable feeling. The next day he told me that one use had made his hands so much better. I have used it a few times also and agree that it moisturises the hands for extended periods of time. It now sits on the my husbands side of the vanity and I can see us repurchasing this time and time again.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + M Moisturiser. Thank you beautyheaven and La roche posay for sending this for me to try. The packaging is simple and effective at dispensing the product. The moisturiser itself is thick but spreads easily and dries down quickly. It is supposed to be used morning and night but due to the absence of SPF it needs to be layered with SPF which is a bit of a hassle if you are time poor like me. The one thing I did not like is that the product does pile when it dries down so not sure how suitable it is to be worn under makeup. I feel like my skin has slightly improved in terms of texture and spots but definetly too soon to say for sure. Looks promising and overall a lovely product to use.

Thank you beautyheaven and Weleda for the opportunity to trial this serum. First off, I liked the dropper appicator. I felt it dispenses the right amount with one squirt to cover the entire face and possibly neck as well. The consistency of the serum is perfect. It’s the right thickness and I like that it doesn’t feel sticky or tacky on the skin at all. It does dry down/ absorb into the skin fairly quickly. In terms of results, I may have noticed very slight changes but I feel it is too soon to comment on the firming effects of the serum. Not sure if it is the change in weather or if caused by this but I do feel like my skin is a little bumpy lately. I will continue to use this and figure out what that is caused by. Nonetheless, a nice product to add to the daily routine.
