The packaging for this serum is really sweet and I love the fact that it's Australian, it is vegan it ticks a lot of boxes and sounds really great with the marine actives and kakadu plum. I did find the smell a bit too much for me. Yes, it is natural coconut but first thing in the morning is a little strong for my liking. It has a really dewy finish and it goes a LONG way. A small pump is enough to cover your face a it dries rather nice. Not instantly, but leave it for a little while and it gives a nice matte finish. Personally, I like a more oil-based serum but this would work on most skin types and serve well.

What beautiful packaging and design. I love the sounds of the natural fragrance, vegan, organic, made in Aus, marine actives and kakadu plum so that all hooked me. It is so important we shop respectfully with our dollar and look out for our skin/bodies and the environment. The cream has a natural coconut smell to it. But very soft, not overpowering. The shape of the application tip is sort of like a lipgloss. I tended to not use it directly under my eye and just used my finger for application as I found it more comfortable and more sanitary. The consistency is generally a bit thicker than some under eye creams I have used in the past which are more like a gel-serum type formula. I tend to like the cooling effect of the latter consistency but I am sure others will prefer a cream. We often tend to forget about our eye area so I liked this product as it forced me to apply and look under my skin more.

(I am not sure what happened to the website as I had submitted this review but it is saying it is overdue so I will attempt to rewrite it) This large paddle brush is a good brush for everyday. It is lightweight but can be considered bulky when thinking about how it will go with travel and packing. I would look for sustainable materials in a brush and I wouldn't chose a plastic one anymore. So that should be marketed more. The brush has been good as I have long hair, however when trying to style it, it can be more challenging as it is larger and doesnt work around as easily as something more compact. Although overall I am happy and would repurchase as it works for my hair needs.

I much prefer a bamboo/ wooden brush than other plastic brushes and did the switch a number of years ago. It is not fully clear how sustainable the material is in this paddle brush but it says it is naturally sourced. I would like companies to be more transparent and sustainable as those are huge selling points at the moment and especially for me, as that would be the reason I chose one brand over another. I have quite a lot of hair and the lengths are getting rather long. The brush is good for a full brush of the head but a little harder to style with as it can feel bulky. For an everyday brush, I would recommend it. It is rather good for using in the morning and at night time. I had no major dramas with this product.

This brush is something I never would pick up from the store as I would think it is just another beauty tool I would never use. However, after receiving this from a trial, I found it rather useful for my long hair. I was a bit hesitant when reading the instructions about using this in the shower while shampooing your hair. The only reason for that is that it is a bamboo based handle and I am so over cautious with mold growth and know that the bamboo could quite easily stay damp. I much preferred to keep it out of the shower and use it to massage my dry scalp. It was rather an eye opener, I was using the brush in circular motion but it didn't tangle my hair and I found a lot of dry skin flecks come out of my hair. You just don't get that thorough with a regular brush and I can see some worth in this product. You can use the brush to help rub other product into your hair, so oils or leave in products. It would be worth it to help stimulate the root growth from your scalp. The small teeth like bristles, are silicon and are much softer than it initially looks. I was a thinking it would be uncomfortable but because the silicon bends easily but is tactile enough to work your scalp, it is a pleasant feeling. And a simple alcohol based spray or alcohol wipes will easily clean the bristles so you are not having oils or residue left on the brush. This handy brush could even be used as an emergency brush for the lengths of your hair if need be as it is a lot more compact for travel.

A hair oil that helps with metal detox? Who knew there was that sort of thing. I had never heard of a metal detox for your hair so getting to try this out on my long hair I was very curious. It was a little hard to find good information and in-depth instructions on what this product is good for and how to use it effectively. It can be used daily and I opted to use it after washing my hair, so the hair was damp and before blow drying. It has a heat protectant in it so I felt confident I didn't need to use any further products at the same time. The texture is a little thicker (but still a liquid) which I actually preferred as some hair oil are really runny and hard to work with. There was enough product in two pumps to coat the palm of your hands and work the product into the lengths of your hair. I will be interested to see how this product performs in the long term as it has been about 4 weeks and it is hard to tell. My hair feels lovely after direct use and I am hopeful that it is doing some magic for the health of the hair. The smell of the product is a more dense but mild scent which I prefer as it does not smell sweet at all or overpowering. If your hair needs a little more love then this would be a good product to protect your hair. I was not aware before this product that our hair takes up heavy metals from water etc in our everyday lives. It would be interesting to hear more about the science from the brand.

Another great product from a great brand. I had not heard of Lovekins until now but I am glad something new is on the scene as I only used to buy kotex or libra, that was the most dominant brands I thought and I never gave it toouch consideration but it is very important we support Australian brands and ingredients so this had all the ticks for me. A lovely and appealing packaging which was a bit stand out compared with overly girly and in your face packages of other brands. I really like how you can't tell right away what the product is. This pack of super pads comes with 8 pads. Soft packaging also makes it easy to pack when travelling. Very lightweight feeling when worn and don't have to be restricted to overnight wear with the thinness of how they feel. The wings hold in place and are simple to use. The claim to fame is also the non bleach and Australian cotton which will give you peace of mind when thinking of our downstairs areas and sometimes they can be sensitive to these things. Feel confident and protected and dare to try a new brand and perhaps you too will fall in love. I will definitely be more conscious on my future purchases because there is so much out there that is just as good if not better than more commercial brands.

Now this is one brand I hadn't heard of and that's what I love about beautyheaven, is that you get to break out of our routines where we buy the same brands each time just out of fear of trying something new or habit with sticking to what we know. Well Lovekins is a lovely appealing brand with soft spoken packaging which is very trendy these days. I like a simple packaging, and it means you can fit them in your bathroom Wintour drawing too much attention to the products. I also am a fan of Australian products. This one could not be any greater and we MUST MUST MUST support Australian products and Australian ingredients. I am done, and switched. I usually stick to U by kotex because I didn't know any better. I must admit I do use a diva cup but need pads also for extra protection and when I don't feel like using the diva cup. I still have all kinds of period products because let's face it, I change my mood and what I like to use from day to day and what I'm doing so I haven't found the need to cut pads, although I would love to one day. These pads are just as comfortable and handy as any other brand. Wings are a must for me otherwise it gets uncomfortable. These were simple to use and stayed in place, had no trouble at all with absorbancy and I will continue using them.

Okay so Nivea has released this cute little products in a new range and it claims to be a 1 minute moisture mask with green tea and hyaluronic acid (not sure what that is) but I was intrigued because I have had plenty of green tea products and they are always fresh and clean feeling and usually smelling lovely. Now it is very surprising to hear a product that is a face mask work in 1 minute. If you try face masks you tend you indulge yourself a bit and lay back and really let them sink in and enjoy the tingling sensation on your skin, however whenever I had face masks like that in the past I generally get real slack at using them because you forget or you just do not have the time. In this increasingly busy lives we live it was a nice concept so you could if you wanted to just throw it in the shower or next to the basin because it means you can try it on and it won't take forever. This product says you can actually leave it on the skin and just rub over it until it is all absorbed but I just could not do that at all, it isn't a bad after feeling but I still felt like I had something on my skin so I always chose to wash it off completely afterwards. The cream comes out in a squeeze fashion and it is like a blueish/green tint with quite a strongish smell (I am assuming the green tea type smell) to me at first but it wears away once on the skin. It doesnt exactly cover your skin with thick product like you would think a normal mask would, it almost starts to sink into your skin right away and I was left wondering if I should be applying more. But I left it for the minute and when it came to taking it off, I tried to massage bits of it into my skin but it left me feeling a little bit too heavy and slimy feeling so I just took it off with a cotton pad like recommend. Afterwards I did my normal beauty routine and did notice a fresh feeling on my skin, it felt very clean and airy (if that makes sense) It did leave me feeling a little bit brightened. Now these products are gentle enough to use daily but I found it was still not appropriate to add to my skin routine daily but I used it whenever I remembered and it was so simple to add in to the regime so if it works for you go right ahead. I have a little troubled skin so I think for me personally I need a deeper mask to sink into my skin and pull my dirt and grime to the surface and clean out my pores. This mask is just a nice simple mask to not dry out your skin and easy enough to work into your daily routine, and it is affordable enough to just give it a go if you like. I will use this product till its empty but I will not repurchase, something more of mask is what I would prefer for my skin issues.

Wow! Well I am a beauty that has been buying the same makeup remover over and over again without fail. I just didn't want to try anything new because I had so many bad experiencing on wasting money on products that could not remove my eye makeup. So upon trying this Nivea one I was a little skeptical but I am hooked now! I love it, The very first thing I noticed is how huge the bottle is. It comes in a BIG 400ml slick semi see-through bottle (so you can tell how much product is left!) which means this beauty product is going too last and last you a long time. And the price for what it is is fantastic! Very reasonable and I would repurchase this again. I used it in conjunction with simple cotton pads which I found worked and then cotton tips to get into eye makeup. What I found is that it really wasn't oily. My other brand which I use it very heavy with oil but I found it was the only one working for me so I was surprised at how different the two products felt immediately afterwards and even after about 10 minutes. SHAKE the bottle well before using because you want the mixture to combine well with each other. I found I didn't have to rub too hard or much or irritate my eyes and face I just wiped over and worked in the product with cotton tips and that was enough. I do still like to wash my face with normal water afterwards and apply moisturiser as per normal. This is a great first step though and helps get lipstick and even mascara off. I am converting. One downside, while I do love the big packaging but if you want to take it with you you can convert it to a smaller bottle because let me tell you it adds room and weight to your luggage.
