Absolutely love this eye product! So rich, so luxurious and so effective! I have always needed & wanted an eye cream for my eye area to feel moisturised and since hitting my 40’s I’ve really needed eye cream. I dislike waking with a dry eye feel so I slather eye cream on daily. This eye cream has serum and cream which combine with each pump. A little goes a long long way which is fabulous as it’s expensive. I can’t say enough good things about this product. My eye area looks soft, smooth, soothed, plump, moisturised and rested. I adore it. It’s fabulous. Strong fragrance as per usual from Clarins but I love fragrance so it doesn’t bother me. Overall an amazing eye cream.

This eye cream feels lovely. Nice and thick and nourishing. I haven’t noticed any lifting or tightening but it’s definitely a good eye cream. Has quite a strong scent which may annoy some people who prefer subtle to no fragrance. I was a bit worried about such a strong fragrance near my eyes but I’ve had no irritation. Best thing about this rich eye cream is that one pump easily covers both my eyes so it should last a while. And at this price you want it to last months & months. Overall it’s quite good. Though I often do need to reapply if I wake during the night for my eye area to feel moisturised again.

I enjoyed using Manicare’s All-In-One Nail Therapy Oil. It contains some great ingredients; argan oil, organic jojoba oil, macadamia oil, avocado oil and vitamins C & E. Lots of nourishing ingredients for nails and the surrounding cuticles. I personally love natural ingredients especially oils so this product sounded great for me. It does contain fragrance though so beware those who react to synthetic fragrances. It’s a floral spa sort of scent. Nothing too overpowering. I applied this oil every day in the morning after removing the Night Revival Treatment and numerous times during the day. It does feel greasy for a short while so pick your application times carefully or you’ll get greasy marks everywhere. In saying that, it does absorb much faster than if you were to apply straight oils. So that’s good. It felt moisturising and lovely to use as an extra luxurious step in your mail routine and maintenance. Easy to apply with the provided mini dropper and easy to massage in. Unfortunately during my time of using this product and the Night Revival Treatment my nails weakened and 3 broke. I was forced to cut all my long nails due to this as they were catching and tearing very low down and were very painful and inconvenient. I didn’t want to risk anymore tearing. I’m not sure why this happened but by the 3rd nail tearing I couldn’t deny the coincidence any longer. I did continue to use the products for the trial period (a couple weeks) and I don’t have any answers as to why my nails reacted like this. My nails are thick and strong always so I’m very surprised with this result. I also noticed my surrounding cuticle area getting very dry and I actually now have a painful hangnail I had to remove. I’m sure these products would yield great results for many, sadly I had the opposite experience.

This nail treatment is so fun! The Manicare Overnight Revival Treatment is blue with gorgeous glitter in it, making it so fun to use, especially for girls and teens. You apply on clean dry nails before bed and then it washes off with soap and water in the morning. It claims to provide intense hydration and replenishment and they advise it’s best used along with their Nail Therapy Oil every morning. Which I also did. I found it very easy to apply, easier than nail polish actually. It has a brush just like a nail polish so super easy. I did have some issues using it after hand cream though as it didn’t dry properly and went all over my bedding, so you would be best either waiting for hand cream to be fully gone from your nails or wiping the nails clean before application so it can dry properly. I used it at night before I went to sleep along with numerous days during the day time. It dries very quickly on clean nails but it does come off easily. I could see how many people would prefer a clear nail treatment you can’t see but I’m thinking this is blue with glitter so you don’t forget to remove it. It’s a plant based keratin alternative made from soy, corn and wheat proteins. This product also contains Manicare’s 5 key mineral complex, chamomile extract and B5 panthenol for lots of benefits to the nails and cuticles. I found my nails looked good after each use and were moisturised. Unfortunately the more I used this product and the accompanying oil, the more my nails broke. I’m not sure why but these products were the only new things introduced to my hands and nails during this time so they could be the cause, though I’ve no idea why this happened. I had 3 nails break low down the nail causing pain and I was forced to cut all my nails as they just kept getting weaker and I didn’t want any more to rip. I’m sure this treatment would work for many but sadly my nails seems weaker the more I used it and they’re normally very strong.

I really like this Manicare Cuticle Remover & Exfoliator. It’s so nice to have an extra spa like step to your hand & nail routine. It’s super easy to apply and you just rub it into your nails and cuticle area. You can then rinse off or remove excess cuticle with Manicare tools that help scrape off and push back cuticles. I personally tried this product without the use of tools and then once with tools. It is more effective when used along with the tools though. It left my nails very smooth looking and didn’t dry the cuticle area out. I wouldn’t advise using if you have any hangnails or cuts as it could hurt and/or aggravate them. I was impressed with this product bring 95% of natural origin along with containing the impressive ingredients glycerin, chamomile extract, B5 and a mineral complex. Overall I’d happily recommend this product and step in your manicure routine. It leaves your nails looking very clean, smooth, fresh & revived. And Manicare products are wonderfully affordable.

As an over 40 I was very interested in trying these Plantur 39 products to improve my thinning hair. I have recently in the past couple years lost a lot of hair due to illness and living in a different environment which has caused my hair to be so lifeless and dull. I applied this conditioner after using the shampoo from the same range, left on for 30-60 seconds as directed. I noticed my hair had next to no knots which is great and it does have some shine but nowhere near the amount of shine my usual products give. I believe this to be from the reduction of conditioning agents in the Plantur 39 products as the goal is to not weigh hair down with too many silicones etc. unfortunately as my hair is fine and thin it became much too flyaway and brittle near the roots to wear my hair down. I really need the extra conditioning agents for my hair. My hair felt brittle near the roots after using Plantur 39 shampoo and conditioner but soft on the ends. The conditioner isn’t bad per day but I think it’s suited to particular hair types, not all. I noticed an increase in hair loss after using these products so sadly they had the opposite effect on my hair.

After having recently reached my 40’s I was interested and curious about trying this shampoo for over forty’s. I have suffered a lot of hair loss and thinning in the past few years due to illness and I also have noticed since moving to a different state, my hair doesn’t look or behave the same anymore. It’s always flyaway and dull. Shine only lasts temporarily after a wash. I was very happy to see it doesn’t contain biotin as I find every time I use a product with biotin in it my hair snaps off and I’m left with 2 inch long bits sticking up especially around my hairline area. This shampoo contains caffeine which is supposed to help stop hair fall. This shampoo is required to be kept on your hair and scalp for minimum 120 seconds (2minutes) then rinsed. It claims to have less conditioning agents in it to prevent hair being weighed down. After using this shampoo for a few weeks I noticed a few things. Firstly when I use this product I notice a lot of hair loss in the shower. I’m not sure why or if leaving a product on for 2 minutes is causing my hair to fall out but it’s having the opposite effect for me. I wasn’t seeing any hair loss with my usual shampoo. This is a noticeable amount in and after I shower. Secondly with the conditioner it does my hair soft and shiny but it’s definitely less shine than my normal products. One problem I do have is that it makes all my snapped off bits stick up even through my long hair. The hairs don’t lay flat like usual. I think it would actually be better if it had more conditioning properties in it so my hair wasn’t as flyaway or sort of stiff/brittle near the root areas. Overall I haven’t noticed less hair loss so I’m not sure if it needs many months to start working or it just didn’t work for me. Sadly I lost more hairs than normal. It also has a very strong fragrance that lingered strongly for hours afterwards.

I’ve always loved hemp seed oil and take it as a supplement daily and it has amazing benefits topically too. I’m obsessed with this Hemp Soothing Body Balm. And I mean obsessed. I’m using it every day for everything. It’s brilliant for any dry skin, cuticles, lip balm (though it does contain menthol so avoid as a lip balm if you don’t like menthol) and more. Works well around the nose too. I also found it great for my hair when slicking back in an updo. Phenomenal ingredients which are natural which I love. A great multipurpose balm. I love the smell too, all natural spa scent from the natural products. I can’t fault this product. It’s fantastic for everything.

As a long time fake tan user I was used to using tinted fake tanners to see where I’d missed spots or made streaks, so as you can imagine I was quite nervous to use a clear mousse tanner. It reminded me of back in the beginning days where fake tanners were always a clear product and only the next day would you discover all your errors. But this fake tan mousse pleasantly surprised me. It’s a liquid that pumps out as a mousse and applied very easily. I had exfoliated the day before application and applied moisturiser to the regular dry spots tan can stick to such as knees, elbows etc. The product doesn’t smell great to me, kind of like hairspray but nothing bothersome though my skin still smelt lightly of fake tan once it developed. I applied the tan in the evening and slept in the tan so I’m not sure if your colour develops earlier than this. I am now lightly tanned, it’s not dark on me though I have very fair skin so fake tan doesn’t usually go super dark on me. Bonus points for the tan not leaving marks on my sheets! I’d say I look normal, like most people who don’t have a tan but aren’t pale. Its frustrating tanners don’t go super dark on me and this product would be good for a weekly application to avoid sun damage. I usually use daily gradual tanners as I can’t always be bothered to do the prep but if you have the time & energy I’d definitely recommend trying this clear tanner. I did find mistakes the next morning even though I used a tanning mitt so you’ll have to find a way to apply it so you don’t miss spots.

My hands are always dry and I suffer from dermatitis, especially in between my fingers. It’s so uncomfortable and feels and looks awful. This Derma Therapy hand balm is phenomenal. It has completely improved the skin on my hands. It repairs, hydrates, heals and physically enhances the look of my hands. It has fabulous ingredients such as aloe, urea, lactic acid, lanolin, shea butter, arginine. Honestly can’t recommend it enough. No overbearing fragrance so it doesn’t compete with your perfum or body lotions. It’s quite thick so you don’t require a lot so the tube will last a while which is great. Soaks in easily.
