I received the Booty Co Contour Cup to trial, along with the accompanying body lotion. To use, you apply a layer of moisturiser or massage cream to the area you are treating, wet the contour cup and push it down gently to create suction on your skin. Once you've created a seal, you move it in circular or sweeping motions for 5-10 minutes. To release the suction, you press down on the cup until the seal breaks. The cup itself is very sturdy and feels quality and like it would last a long time. Massaging feels as you would expect given the suction nature of the cup. If you have a need for lymphatic massage/drainage there may be benefit in trying this product, but for every day use (for me personally) it's just too much effort. I have a toddler at home, and if I was to use this regularly I would have to carve out a good 30+ minutes and it's just not achievable. With time, you might be able to use it on autopilot but it took quite a bit of practice to get the hang of it personally. Also, it claims to reduce the appearance of cellulite, and while that might be true temporarily due to the suction, it's not an effective long term solution. Again, if you have a genuine need for lymphatic massage, it's worth exploring, but for everyday beauty routines it's a no from me.

I received the Impulse Balanced Mind Body Mist to trial. Initially, I was surprised at how large the packaging was for this product. It's definitely not hand-bag friendly for me personally, but it definitely is a lovely light mist. The fragrance is sweet and fresh, but light. The initial pear and vanilla scents come through followed by the floral jasmine. It comes in a pump spray bottle and with its 150mL volume will last quite some time so is good bang for buck. I just wish the packaging was slimmer/less chunky for portability.

The Remington ONE Straight & Curl Styler is a great little starter styling tool. Offering both straightening and curling in the one appliance it offers bang for buck. It has decently sized straightening plates and I really like that it has variable heat settings. It did take awhile to heat up though compared to other brands I've used in the past. It is on the chunkier side, especially when in curling mode (simply slip down the covers to the handle). It is a bit challenging to adjust the heat settings and press the buttons while in curling mode. With a 32mm curling barrel it is on the larger size and probably best for medium to long hair for this reason. It won't replace my go-to curler and straightener, but I will be passing it onto my niece who is just starting to experiment with her hair. I also really appreciate that it came with a full glove for curling (rather than the silly little finger ones) and the luxe case for storage is really nice too!

The Du'IT Tough Body Super Hydrating Lotion lives up to its name. The formula was definitely more liquidy than I was expecting (though I typically use creams more than lotions), but despite this it was extremely hydrating. It spreads and soaks into the skin really nicely and quickly and i can feel a noticeable difference in the hydration and softness of my skin after use. It doesn't leave any residue which is a big plus. The only con, and reason that it loses a star for me, is that it is heavily fragranced and perfume-smelling. I definitely prefer my skincare products to have minimal (if any) fragrance. If they had a fragrance free option I would definitely look to repurchase, but as is, it's just too strong for me personally.

A lip mask designed for overnight repair, the Dermal Therapy Overnight Lip Repair does live up to it's promise of hydration. With a pump style applicator it does provide additional hygiene that other lip products and masks might not. However, this is where the pros ended for me personally. The product did not quickly absorb into my lips, and instead felt as though there was a greasy film on them - a bit like if you put a really thick moisturiser on them, which isn't surprising given that the consistency of the product is very similar to a moisturiser. The smell was also a bit off-putting for me personally. It wasn't particularly strong, but was definitely noticeable enough that I didn't find it pleasant. It's a skip for me - I'll stick to a regular lip balm or mask in future.

Weleda's Nourishing Night Cream lives up to it's name, with a wonderfully light yet highly moisturising cream formula. A little goes a long way and application is a dream. I was pleasantly surprised when trialling this product as to how much I liked it. I rarely stray from my tried and tested skincare routine, but will be adding this to the rotation when I need a hit of extra moisture. It soaks in/dries down very quickly and leaves the skin feeling beautifully soft and nourished, without leaving any uncomfortable residue. It is fragranced, though the scent is not overpowering and does dissipate over time. However, if you are sensitive to scents you may want to try a sample first before purchasing.

As someone with extremely sensitive skin and sensitive to smell, this product just wasn't for me. Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm is a solid balm where a little goes a long way. Upon opening the first thing that hit me was the scent. Is is heavily fragranced (likely due to all the oils in the product), so if you're like me and sensitive to smells i would give this one a miss. As a result I wasn't able to continue using this product and will be passing it on to friends or family to try instead.

Dermal Therapy's Hand Balm is a thick, hydrating cream that helps to restore moisture and heal dry, damaged skin. Overall it does a great job of moisturising. My hands feel soft and hydrated after using for about a week. The formula claims to be non-greasy and quick absorbing. Unfortunately for me this wasn't the case. I found it took quite a long time to completely sink in, and felt a little greasy on my hands. So it loses a star for me for that. It is unscented which I like as someone who has quite sensitive skin. I would continue to use this, but most likely at night before bed for a hit of moisture, rather than during the day where I would stick with something lighter that sinks in more quickly.

Dermal Therapy Lip Balm with Manuka Honey is a super hydrating balm that comes in a squeezy tube applicator. While this isn't my favourite type of applicator for lip balm (as it can get tricky to get all the product out as you get closer to the end), it's most suitable for the cream like product. It applies very smoothly, and feels slick on the lips. It doesn't soak in as quickly as I would like and the honey smell is a little bit too sweet for my liking. This would be a great product for chapped lips in the winter months, and would give a good hit of repair and hydration. In the summer, I'm more likely to opt for a more traditional chapstick style balm.

I'm not usually one for powder foundations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Nude by Nature Natural Mineral Cover Blemish Control Foundation. I got the shade W1 light which was a perfect match for my skin. It comes in a cute green screw cap pot with a mesh powder dispenser. Simply swirl a fluffy brush in the top to collect the product and buff into the skin. I found a soft, natural hair brush to work best for this. It is extremely light and blends in well to the skin whilst providing a light coverage that evens out skin tone and covers minor redness and blemishes. If you're looking for fuller coverage, you'll definitely still need concealer for that. It didn't make my face look cakey at all, and it has little to no scent which is a big plus for my sensitive skin. It also contains SPF15, but I would definitely still include a proper sunscreen as part of your base skincare routine.
