This Caffeine-infused conditioner from Plantur 39 works a treat with the caffeine shampoo. Thanks to the 'Best in Beauty marketplace event' I received this dynamic duo and have been trialling the shampoo and conditioner together over the last eighteen days. I had never heard of a specific shampoo and conditioner for 'hair over forty' but I am so glad I gave this a fair go. With the damage from years of blond highlighting, I was sceptical about trying this caffeine conditioner. However, I found the consistency to be thick and creamy and my hair just drank up the moisture. With avocado components, my stressed hair seemed to relax and feel stronger as far as not feeling straw-like after washing. I definitely feel I have less hair breakage and i would go as far as to say more volume, not thicker hair but more volumous. I will keep using this happy little partnership of shampoo and conditioner and importantly, the fragrance is mild and non-offensive. Worth giving this a go.

I was fortunate to try the Plantur 39 Phyto-Caffeine Shampoo for fine and Brittle hair as part of the best in Beauty Marketplace. This is certainly not a product I would go looking for or thought would suit my needs, but this is what I love about being a trial member of Beauty Heaven. You just never know when you might find a perfect product to suit your needs. I was unfamiliar with this brand or the purpose of a product for women in this age group. (for hair over forty) To be honest, I do not drink or like coffee, but seriously this does not smell or resemble coffee. After years of blonde highlighting, I was happy to trial this product due to the drawcard stating 'for fine, brittle hair' and brittle is what I do have from the chemical damage. (I am at the moment deciding to cut off the damaged split ends or try and find a recovery product for dry brittle dry split ends, leaning towards the cut) However, this shampoo for the whole head was a pleasant surprise. I was nervous to see a clear liquid squeeze from the container as this usually means sudsy, drying and left with straw-like hair for highlighted blondes. This was not the case though, instead while it did foam up a little it did not dry out my hair, nor did it leave it greasy. I have been using this for about eighteen days and I must say I have noticed much less hair breakage. I would say the company's claim 'to help your hair look energised' is a fair statement of results. my hair does not really feel thicker and fuller, but when worn out there does seem to be more volume and the condition is much less dry than before my use. I am quite pleased with this shampoo and will continue using it to see if any further improved results, or stronger hair. I have also been using the Conditioner with this shampoo, so hoping this could be a dynamic duo that suits my dry hair type.

This duo as advertised, is for us who torture our coloured hair by dyeing and frying. I love this description as this is the current state of my hair. It is really feeling fried with the recent highlights and then with this crazy wild wind blowing any moisture opportunity away, this shampoo and conditioner combo could not have come at a better time for me to trial, so many thanks Beautyheaven!!! I really enjoyed the Resurrection Conditioner, while I did find I needed to use a little more product with my shoulder-length hair, I did find again the hydration level was positively surprising. I was able to condition my hair with an easy comb-through. I found the passive gentle fragrance of the shampoo and conditioner non-offensive as it does not linger or overpower your own fragrance which you may spray on later. Overall I was really satisfied with the duo wash. I felt the shampoo did not strip, but kindly cleansed and the conditioner behaved appropriately and conditioned my stands nicely (you can always tell when you get to the drying and styling stage) I did still need to use my own combination of leave-in treatments, but that is due to years of colouring and of 'dyeing and frying' :) I do love the price point for the results of this shampoo and conditioner combo, however, if you need to choose one, I'd suggest grabbing the shampoo and going with your favourite conditioner and treatment...... And make sure you get it in a pump pack variety for ease of use.

I found the shampoo 'globed up' a little, it was just not as free-flowing as I assume it will be in the warmer weather. However, this did not impact on the effect of the product. I was impressed by the Resurrection Shampoo's ability to spread evenly over the hair without foaming up. I feel the shampoo gently cleansed without stripping the hair follicles. I felt there was a good clean without the straw-like feel afterwards. I think the shampoo is placed at a reasonable price point, however, I would seek out a pump as this is one heavy bottle to lift with wet hands in the shower. So, I very quickly realised that I am not the demographic this product is aiming to influence. While I am grateful for the opportunity to trial a new beauty product thanks to Beautyheaven, I would NEVER purchase a product to enhance the skin on my derrière, not because I am too proud, but rather because I am not about to waste time waiting for things to change for my derrière. I am a little disappointed to think that this product will make a series of women now think this is an important beauty regime they must now include in their routine. Are we really here? So as suggested, I chose to trial this product on my face, rather than on my seat, to see what impact the clay mask had on my exposed facial skin. I did find the clay mask moisturising due to its abundance of lovely ingredients such as Vitamin E, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, and Witch Hazel. Usually not a fan of clay masks as I have very dry skin, I found this one not too drying, but I still needed a good moisturiser to finish. I will continue to use it as a clay mask for the upper body, but will not re-purchase.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to trial the Toni & Guy Colour Radiance Pro Conditioner. While this conditioner was made to be paired with the colour radiance shampoo, its a sure winner on its own as well, or could be easily paired with your preferred shampoo. I see myself going between using my favourite purple shampoo and the matching Colour Radiance Pro shampoo. While the claim with this conditioner is 'to preserve and enhance the vibrancy of coloured hair' I do need more time to give this aspect of the conditioner my vote of confidence. However, this one is a worthy conditioner for highlighted/coloured hair. Like the partnered shampoo, I am assuming the Argen Oil is the secret ingredient to the silky soft after-feel- yes i would use the word silky soft on my very dry and brittle highlighted locks after use of this conditioner. True to its word this conditioner also left my shoulder-length hair tangle free. I was seriously impressed with this conditioning product. I would, however, love to see this in a supersize as I am a heavy user of conditioner.

I am seriously not a fan of 'colour-protecting' shampoos as I have always found them to be so drying and a letdown. However, Toni & Guy Colour Radiance Pro Shampoo was a surprise experience. I was expecting the straw hair feeling that I usually experience with shampoo, but this colour care shampoo was not what I was expecting. I still had to use a fair bit of product and work into my blonde highlighted shoulder-length hair. To my surprise, this formulation was low suds and gently cleaned my hair. my hair was left manageable and not staw-like at all. I am assuming this effect is due to the shampoo containing Argan Oil and being sulphate free so no more striping of the hair's natural oils and colour. I was seriously impressed with this shampoo's performance, however, I do need a few more weeks to agree on the colour protection factor, but I am ready to invest in this as it could be a lifesaver and colour saver in the end. Now over to the amazing effects of the Conditioner, but that's a whole other review :)

Now the sceptic in me rose again on receiving this Burt's Bee Lip Balm to trial. I just do not like vanilla. Ice cream, I am happy to devour, but beauty products? not my thing, well so I thought, as this Vanilla Bean Moisturising Lip Balm had the mildest of scents, it became my handbag's best friend. This lip balm could not have come at a better time as I developed a head cold and every ounce of fluid evaporated from my body. I had a raw nose from blowing as well as dry and flakey lips- yuck, but repeated applications of this soothing balm healed these conditions and kept them at bay. I would never have purchased this lip balm by my own choice, so luckily it was sent for the trial as this one I will be repurchasing. I found the butter, fruit extracts and beeswax were the perfect combination for my needs. My skin was soothed and moisturised and on use around my nose, no breakouts. How could this rich balm be effective on the skin around my nose with no breakouts? I am so please the vanilla is a mild scent as the functionality of this balm has me won over.

This was such an intense experience of freshness, a wake-you-up and get-out-there-for-the-day moment. Thera Breath Dentist Formulated mouth rinse is a wake-up for your mouth, with a kick to the butt for your bad breath. The claim is that this rinse will protect you from bad breath for up to 24hrs. The great selling point besides a reasonable price point is that there are no artificial additives and no alcohol. I love their catch cry 'Regain your confidence with TheraBreath Oral Rinse' Well on the first use you know you are alive. I chose to thoroughly brush my teeth and then use the small lid which doubles as a measuring cup to swirl a small amount of the rinse around my mouth. You could actually dilute this with a small amount of water if you found the icy mint too much of a head blast. What a great fresh wake-up and welcome to the day ahead.

What an amazing invention. It was like the overnight skin doctors got to work and just sucked out the impurities and left the area nice and calm. I have not come across this type of product before so this was such a novel idea for me. I had my teenage kids try these out on their pimples and they also found great results. But my goodness these things are sticky. I am assuming that is part of the idea to smoother the spot and then suck the impurity right out of there. These worked well overnight, the impurity turned a white colour in the morning and then just peeled away. The skin where the patch was adhered to settled down in a matter of minutes, now more scaring from unnecessary squeezing. These are a bathroom cabinet staple.
