The latest range of shampoo, conditioner and leave in by Loreal Elvive comes in an easy to use bottle, the lid snaps off without breaking your nails, or without spilling product and is a nice creamy consistency. The bottles are slightly opaque, which clearly shows how much product is left in the bottles. The leave in has a circular pop top type opening for dispensing product. While I don't mind this leave in, I wouldn't say it is my favourite. I do feel too much product comes out easily, which then can weigh my hair down a little as it is quite heavy. My hair is left very silky and smooth after applying this product, and then blowdrying. I do not use another product before straightening or again it would be far too heavy. I will certainly use up this bottle, but I will not repurchase. It will take me a very long time to get through the bottle though.

The conditioner in this range is a lovely creamy consistency, which a nice floral scent, however it is not overpowering for sensitive noses. If you do not like the silicone feel of a conditioner than this is not for you. My hair is left feeling very silky and smooth, but sometimes the conditioner can be hard to wash out, and my hair can feel weighed down in product. When you have thick hair this can get heavy. Overall I am very happy with this product and I will continue to use it.

I do have an issue with this shampoo irritating my scalp however, and I have to use a medicated shampoo between washes. The scent of this is floral based, but not overpowering which is nice for sensitive noses. While I do really like this shampoo I will not be able to use it for long term use do to my sensitive scalp (however there are few shampoos I can use for this reason). I was sent this brush to trial as part of the regular trial team and it has now become my favourite! This brush comes attached to a standard cardboard type back on the shelf with no unnecessary plastic packaging which is nice. Suitable for wet and dry hair this is a fairly large style brush that seriously does glide through the hair removing any knots with ease. It doesn't pull at all, and only takes a few strokes on my generally knotty hair. Having wide bristles it is also very easy to clean and remove any strands that have fallen out. The large vents also makes this an ideal brush to use while blow drying hair to continue to detangle. Having long been loyal to a different type of wet/dry brush this has now become my favourite and the other one has been cast aside! This is also far superior to Lady Jayne’s previous wet/dry style which I was not a fan of.

I was sent this product as part of the regular trial team. My skin type is sensitive, leaning on the dry side and easily irritated. I have to point out this product is an extra step for me in my skin care routine, my cleanser is excellent at removing my daily makeup so I do not use a specific makeup remover. This bottle just takes a shake and you use a makeup pad to soak and wipe over the face to remove makeup. It specifically says to hold on the eyes, leave it and then wipe away. Honestly that did nothing. It took quite a bit of wiggling of that makeup pad to remove my eye makeup. Not scrubbing, but wiggling. And I dont use waterproof mascara. It takes me around 4 pads to remove my makeup from my face, and thankfully this does not cause irritation to my sensitive skin. However for me there is no reason to add this into my routine. It's more effort and expense than just using my cleanser and a clean flannel.

Trial team My skin type is sensitive, leaning on the dry side and quite easily irritated. The Nivea 1 Minute Urban Skin is a really nice face mask. You apply to cleansed skin, leave for 1 minute and rinse well. This is more of a mud type mask, and I find I need to leave it closer to 3 minutes to get it to "set", but not quite set as you want a mud mask too. The scent is similar to a lot of Nivea products and I find this does not particularly irritate my skin as most do. I tend to avoid marks due this reason. The formula also contains small granules which act as a mild scrub when you are removing the mask with a flannel as I do. I do really like this mask and see myself using it regularly, however I will leave for a couple of minutes rather than the 1 as recommended.

I was sent this conditioner to try as part of the trial team. I have bra strap length, thick, bleached hair. My scalp is prone to dermatitis. This is a really nice conditioner, however for my hair it's just not moisturising enough. Keep in mind you are dealing with very long, very thick bleached hair. I wasn't able to use this conditioner on its own and have my hair tangle free. I do like how it makes my hair feel though (that would be the silicone) so I took to using a masque between the shampoo and conditioner. I think for less damaged hair this would be fantastic. The texture is nice and thick, easy to apply and easy to comb through. I would be wary of this on super fine hair though too, as I think it may weigh your hair down. Overall a nice conditioner but I won't be repurchasing.

This product was sent to me as part of the trial team. I have bra strap length, thick, highlighted hair and am prone to scalp dermatitis. I am always weary of trying new things on my scalp as I am prone to dermatitis, however being sulphate free I was willing to give this a go. For a sulphate free shampoo this really does a great job of lathering giving you that really clean feel. The smell is pleasant and it washes out easily. My scalp did not react to this product. The packaging is sleek and squat, just as all OGX branded shampoos are and it is easily available to buy. My only complaint would be that this shampoo has silicone in it, which for a sulphate shampoo I don't really like to see.

I was sent this Sally Hansen product to trial as part of the regular trial team. I initially used this as a base coat and a top coat as suggested on the box with an OPI nail polish. I was very disappointed when it chipped only a few hours later. I removed that polish as I had a wedding to attend and used it on it's own, applying two coats. It took a long time to dry but lasted about 32 days before it chipped from my nails. My nails do possibly feel a little stronger which is an issue I have (breaking nails), but the poor top coat ability of this nail treatment means I would not purchase this when I ran out. I also find the brush is a little small.

The style guards from Lady Jane work really well at keeping hair pulled back and to keep buns in place, even during exercising! However these aren't really very pretty and it does look like you have a large spiral in your hair, particularly in my shoulder length hair. For that reason I think there are other products on the market that do the same job and are nicer to look at. I will continue to use these for exercise but not at other times.
