I received the large paddle brush and a smaller brush to review and I was very pleasantly surprised. Just as promised, these brushes bend and flex when you brush, are extremely lightweight and best of all glide through hair easily and detangle both wet and dry hair without causing any breakages. I have about 5 different hair brushes lying around and this has quickly become my go to staple brush. I even use it for blow drying my hair straight and it works a charm. The brush is light weight, purple in colour and very durable considering the price point. Everyone needs one of these!

This is hands down my favourite body wash right now. What I love most about this is the gorgeous and feminine rosy geranium scent which reacts with the steamy shower to create a spa like experience. This particular blend of essential oils is very calming yet uplifting at the same time and really manages to wake me up and lift my spirits a bit in the mornings. The thick transparent gel formula foams lightly yet still does a great job of throughly cleansing the skin without ever drying it out. I even use it to shave my legs. I love that this is housed in a sturdy amber coloured plastic bottle to help retain the integrity of the essential oils within. Please do not ever change the formula or bottle Trilogy! :)

I didn’t realise that Trilogy had become one of my favourite, most trusted brands until I looked around my bathroom one day and noticed I was reaching for several Trilogy products over the rest of my extensive beauty arsenal. This serum is definitely a multi tasker as whilst it’s claims are to firm the skin, it’s also nourishing and softening at the same time. Having said that helps to explain why it is not intended for immediate firming but rather does its job over time. After using up a whole bottle, I can see a subtle all over tightening or fine tuning if you will. I did use this consistently day and night underneath my moisturiser and now that I’ve emptied a bottle I’ll be repurchasing for sure. This contains glycablend for firming and also licorice which has the ability to gently help fade and also ward of discolouration. The texture is perfect for a serum and slightly funnier than a milky liquid moisturiser. I find this with well under almost any skincare regime. The smell is subtle and slightly like essential oils.

I’ve been using these supplements for three months now and they honestly could not have come at a better time. I’d been suffering from stress related hair fall and was noticing more and more strands coming out in the shower whilst washing my hair. I had previously been a part of the vivisval shampoo, conditioner and serum trial and had been hoping that I would get to trial the supplements too. At the very beginning of the trial three months ago, I noticed that the tablets were making my hair and skin a bit greasy and I was experiencing some mild tummy pain and bloating. This has since subsided and after three months of taking one tablet twice daily, my hair is longer but what I have noticed most are the baby hairs around my hairline and along my centre part. They do stick up a little bit but this is a small price to pay for lovely new hair growth. As a result my hair is just thicker overall and hadn’t been flat and lifeless like I was used to. I don’t have to use as much booster spray. Aside from new hair growth, the other nice side effect of these tablets are long, super strong and shiny fingernails. I’ve even been able to forgo my regular manicures and have been wearing my nails bare and just rubbing nail oil into them.

I had been looking for a great hydrating gel/cream with hyalyronic acid for a while so I jumped at the chance to join this trial. I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t normally have considered Clinique for a product like this so I was grateful to be given a chance to revisit this brand after a long hiatus. First of all the gel/cream hybrid is housed in a little heavy-duty plastic seethrough jar with a silver lid. A lot of people prefer to use squeeze tubes or a serum pump bottle for hygiene reasons but I think that the consistency of this product lends itself to requiring a jar. I just use a clean fingertip and make sure to close the lid tightly straight away thereby avoiding potential contaminants or drying it out. The product is a pretty, pale pink, very lightweight gel/cream that initially worried me as I thought it wouldn’t be hydrating or moisturising enough. On warmer days, I pop a dab over my serum and then apply makeup over the top and I find it also doubles as a primer which is very nice!! On the days where I feel my skin is a little parched, I apply a little moisturiser over the type and it still does its job. Makeup and foundation just glides on over the top and looks really natural. My skin stays plump and hydrated for most of the day and since using this I haven’t noticed any dryness, irritation or breakouts. This is unscented and doesn’t really smell like anything which is fine. I would definitely re-purchase this in future.

This is a generously sized bottle of shower and bath oil with a convenient pump dispenser and is obviously super easy to use. I can see this lasting for a very long time and is suitable for the whole family, even children. One to two squirts is all that is required for my whole body, it cleanses gently and leaves a lovely lingering almond scent long afterwards. My skin feels so much smoother using this as compared to regular shower gels or soap. The little dry patches I had on my lower legs are now gone and shaving is so much easier as my skin is so much more smooth and supple now. I recommend this for all skin types but mostly for those who suffer from dry, scaly, itchy skin or those who are prone to psoriasis or eczema. This formula contains colloidal oatmeal and almond extract for maximum efficacy.

I’ve recently started incorporating a twice weekly scrub back into my skincare routine as I find that getting a little older, my skin isn’t renewing itself quite as quickly as it used to and manual exfoliation helps it along. Even though I already use a gentle nightly BHA product that I rinse off in the morning, I’m still left with a little residual dead skin that requires a twice weekly scrub. This scrub is nice and gentle and contains 3 different sugars that you buff into your dry skin and then once the granules have melted you rinse it all off with warm water. The scent is very sweet and the colour is a warm caramel that honestly looks good enough to eat but please don’t!!! This doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or irritated at all and once I’ve applied my serum and moisturiser my skin feels baby soft and smooth. This is supposed to brighten and boost radiance and I definitely think it does that as my skin also seems to look a little more golden toned after I use it. This contains a lot of nice ingredients such as grape seed and monoi oils, açai powder, rosemary, gardenia and coconut oils. Unfortunately I had to remove a star as I really don’t like the addition of all the fake colours such as blue lake, yellow 5 lake, green etc. I really think this would have been near perfect with turmeric instead which would have given it a nice golden hue as well as being so nourishing and anti-inflammatory for the skin. Such a shame that this lets it down.

I was excited to be chosen to trial the Nude by Nature foundation and concealer as I’m starting to be more conscious about not putting too many chemicals or harmful ingredients on my skin. I was happy when they arrived to see that they had included a great foundation blending blush! The foundation itself is packaged in a very sleek glass bottle with a long rose gold lid. The packaging is very high quality and sturdy and definitely adds value and a little luxury to using the product. The shade I chose is W4 - Soft Sand which is light-medium with warm/neutral undertones. The texture is quite thick and slightly powdery and for this reason I found it blends better over well moisturised skin. It was a little difficult to blend out with fingertips only, so this is where the brush came in handy. In this case, less is definitely more as using too much product looks a bit cakey and unnatural. The finish is medium and I don’t think it’s a suitable product to build coverage with unfortunately. It doesn’t have a noticeable scent at all which I liked. This has natural pigments in it, is oil free and contains natural ingredients like bamboo powder to create a soft focus effect, baobab fruit extract, Kakadu plum and Lilly Pilly. I would love for them to bring out a more hydrating version of this.

Thanks for letting me trial this nifty new product BH! I always keep my brows groomed and get them threaded approx every four weeks or so. Unfortunately due to over enthusiastic tweezing in the past I do have a couple of little gaps that I always fill in with either an eyebrow pencil or brown gel like Anastasia in a taupe shade The colour I selected was Medium Brown as the swatch looked closest to the light brown taupe shades I normally use. Even though my natural hair colour is dark brown I use lighter brow products so it looks more natural and not severe. This comes in a tube that looks like a mascara wand or liquid eyeliner. The packaging is nice and looks quite high end with a matte black tube and shiny dark bronze lid The formulation is nice and aside from tinting is also supposed to nourish & strengthen your brows & encourage hair growth with royal jelly, caffeine, collagen, hyaluronic acid & aloe Vera. Very impressive!!! When it arrived I was shocked by how dark (black!) it was when it went on - I looked like Groucho Marx!! The first time I used it was a minor disaster as I didn't apply it thick enough and so once it dried (20 mins) it didn't peel off easily and came off in tiny little pieces and eventually I had to rinse it off. It still dyed my brows a lovely shade of natural brown despite looking too dark when applying The second time I used it, I had learned my lesson and so applied it quite thickly and it peeled off much easier. It's a cinch to apply, you simply paint it on but I did ensure that I dug the applicator in so that it touched my skin too. The tint lasted a few days but with twice daily face cleansing it gradually does wear off quite fast. I wish it lasted much longer so that's why I took a star off I will definitely repurchase and recommend it to others.

I'm reviewing the True Match Foundation in the shade 3.N - Creamy Beige which falls in the light-medium NEUTRAL category. My skin has both cool & warm (yellow) undertones so this really was a perfect match for me. I was actually surprised at how accurate the L'Oreal online shade matcher was! This foundation is a regular 30ml volume housed in a glass bottle with a square silver pump dispenser. It's an improvement on the old style bottle which had a really cheap looking silver lid. One pump is more than adequate for my entire face and neck The formulation is actually quite thin & liquidy and super pigmented. A little goes a very long way. I find that this works much better on smooth well moisturised/primed skin as otherwise the product can "catch" on dry patches. This applies like a dream and the finished look is velvety rather than dewy or matte. I still finish with a translucent setting powder to lock it in and blot any residual shine This doesn't really have a scent to it which I like. The product can be layered for a fuller coverage or even mixed with your moisturiser if you prefer a tint. It's a very versatile foundation. I find that this lasts all day but I do need to touch up with concealer as the day wears on. The coverage is very natural due to the intense pigments and light formulation. I would most definitely purchase this product again. A superb foundation for the RRP of $29.95.
